A Pet Sympathy card

Hello my Friends! I hope you are doing well. Today I have a card I don’t enjoy making. I made this card for a crafty friend who lost her fur baby recently. It always breaks my heart when someone looses a fur baby. I have been a fur mom for about 10 yrs. Her name is Jules and she is so spoiled let me tell you. Lately, she has enjoyed her blankie and her lounge bed. I envy her sometimes laying around all day LOL.

So I started out with some Arteza Cardstock 110lb. I recently won some Brea Reese Water-Based Markers so this was a perfect time to try them out. I went for a rainbow since they say when a pet passes they cross over the Rainbow Bridge. I used each marker scribbling over my cardstock and then I used a water brush to try and blend out the color.

When it was dry I cut out my water colored panel with a scalloped A2 rectangle from Honeybee Stamps. I then used a brand new stamp from my stash called from Cas-ual Friday Stamps called Rainbow Bridge Stamps. I have had this stamp in my stash just in case I needed it. I stamped and heat embossed the Rainbow and sentiment with Versafine Black ink and Hero Arts Clear embossing powder using my Misti. I then glued my panel to a A2 card base using liquid glue. I embellish I added a twine bow and sequins.

And here is the inside using another sentiment from the Rainbow Bridge Stamps stamp set that I stamped and heat embossed.

And here is my Spoiled Big Baby Jules, love her so much!!

Our Friendship is the Greatest Adventure!

Hello Everyone! I have a fun and sweet card to share with you today using some of my favorites of TRHD products and I am on TRHD Blog today too! If you would like to watch my Process Video you can here: https://youtu.be/RXkRXAfbl4U

On my Slimline card I used Come Fly With Me Stamp Set, Come Fly With Me Die Set, and Clouds in my Coffee Stencil. I first stamped this image onto Watercolor paper with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink using my Misti to get a good crisp image. I then colored it in with my Gansai Tambi Watercolors and my Black Velvet brush and some water. I flickered some pink paint splatters when I was done coloring. I then used the dies to cut my image out.

I used a Flurries Slimline die from Catherine Pooler to cut out my background panel with 110lb cardstock. I then used the Clouds in my Coffee stencil with Broken China Distress Oxide ink and my Cotton Tail Blending Brush. I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and cut it out with my trimmer. I added my panel and my image to a Slimline card base. I then added foam tape to the back of my sentiment and added it to my panel. I had this bow on my desk and it matched the flowers so I added it. Lastly, I added Pops Of Color drops Pearl Seafoam and sequins to match. I hope you like my card.

Happy Birthday Darling!

Hi my friends! I hope your doing great on this Tuesday! I have a Birthday card to share today using a new to me company! Colorado Craft Company.

So I used this stamp set called Lovely Legs Valentine Stamp from Colorado Craft Company. Since I didn’t use it for Valentine’s Day it has these Birthday sentiments. So that is what I did. I stamped this image onto Taylored Expressions Watercolor cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink. I then colored the image in with Prima Pastel watercolors and Prima Complexion watercolor paints and my black velvet brush and water. I painted the background also and flickered paint splatters with white Copic Paint and a silverish Hydracolour paint.

I cut out my watercolor panel out with a die from My Creative Time and placed my panel in my Misti to stamp and heat emboss the sentiment with Versafine black ink and Hero Arts Clear embossing powder. I then cut out some colored cardstock to match using a A2 stitched rectangle. I glued my panel to my colored cardstock and then to my A2 card base. Lastly, I added some sequins to match. I hope you like my Birthday card, it was so much fun to make. I really like this company so you may see another card from me using another stamp set. Thank you for stopping by!

Valentine Stencil

Here is my first project: I first heat embossed these sweet bunnies from the New Je t’amie Stamp Set with Versafine black ink and clear embossing powder onto watercolor paper. I then colored them in with my DERWENT INKTENSE watercolor pencils and my water brush. I then stamped and heat embossed these cute hearts and colored them in.

I used the New Valentine Stencil for the “Love” Sentiment using Tea Dye Distress Oxide ink. I then used my water brush to water color over it for a softer look. I gave my bunnies some white dots for their cheeks using my signo white gel pen. I just love these bunnies. I cut out my panel with a double stitched rectangle and added it to a A2 card base. I then added some enamel dots to match.

Here is my second project:

I knew I had to foil these bunnies from the Je t’amie stamp set in red foil. This Slimline card was so fun using the New Valentine Stencil with WOW Red Glitz Embossing Powder over Vellum. My bunnies were cut out with a Heart die from Heffy Doodle. I cut out this fancy slimline panel from The Ton and layered my vellum, adding my heart with foam tape. Super easy and no coloring. To foil my bunnies I used Versamark ink to stamp my bunnies with Brutus Monroe Foil Reactive Embossing powder. I then placed it in my Heidi Swapp Minc Laminator with Red Deco Foil.

I layered everything and Placed my panel onto a red Slimline Card Base. I added Red Shiny Twine and Enamel dots to finish my card. I also made this cute treat bag die to use the heart from the new stencil again with the Wow Red Glitz embossing powder. I just added a white satin ribbon, a white banner tag that was added with a brad. On my tag I stamped the hearts with red ink from the Je t’amie stamp set. Perfect Treat box to put a cute candy treat or something else. I hope you like my projects. This was an Amazing Birthday Release, that was so much fun. Happy Birthday TRHD!
