Circled Flowers A Colorful Life Designs February 2023 Release!

Hello everyone! Happy February. That means A Colorful Life Designs has a New Release today and I have a video and 2 cards. Super Exciting. I will be using the New Circled Flowers Stencil. Video will be down below as well as supplies and a coupon code for you!

I used some Bluish purple cardstock 65lb and cut it down to a A2 size panel using my new paper trimmer. I then placed the New Circled Flowers Stencil over my cardstock using a stencil mat. I applied the Creative Expressions Opal Polish in Pink Thistle using the brush included. I then let my panel dry. Once it was dry I cut it down to 4×5.25.

Next, I glued my panel to a gray heavy weight card base 110lb. I used a pre made sentiment sticker from American Crafts and glued it onto my panel. Lastly, I added some Pops of Color in Sky Blue to the center of my flowers for fun.

You can watch how I made this card down below or on YouTube

Here is another card I created using the Circled Flowers Stencil

I used the same cardstock. Only I used some red glitter paste. The paste was really dry but I was able to get a panel done. yay. I also cut it with my Tim Holtz deckle trimmer and added a pre-made foiled sentiment strip from Ellen Hutson. I hope you like my cards, they were fun to make. Bundle Up Buttercup!

Hello everyone! I’m back with my last Guest Design Post for Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. I had so much fun this January sharing my projects made with the cutest and most beautiful products from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. Well let’s get started!

I chose to use Sweater Weather Stamp set for my final project. I had images stamped and cut out already and so it was easy to color them in with my Copic Markers. I adore this stamp set. I made my background by using white cardstock and ink blending with brown ink. I then used the Grunge Dot Stencil and ink blended with Weathered Wood Distress Oxide ink. I love those colors together and they matched my scarf, boots, and knit hat. I cut out my panel to be a Slimline card.

I glued my Slimline Panel to a gray Slimline heavy weight card base. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from the stamp set with white embossing powder on black cardstock. I cut my sentiment with my paper trimmer and added foam tape to the back. I added my images to my panel with liquid glue and then added my sentiment. Lastly, I added sequins to match. I hope you like my card, I had fun making it. Thank you to Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps for having me this month. I had a blast!

Love Letters!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have some cards to share using the Newest January Release from A Colorful Life Designs. I used the New Love Letters Stencil and Oodles Stamp set. I will have supplies and a coupon code down below for you!

On this card I used the Love Letters Stencil with white cardstock and ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum Machine using the correct bases to dry emboss. I love how it looks like a embossing folder. So many possibilities. I thin ink blended over it with some Simon Says Stamp Bubblegum ink. I flicked some paint splatters in black and pink paints. I stamped the sentiment from the Oodles Stamp set and then fussy cut it out. I cut down my background and added it to a foam sheet before adhering it to my A2 card base. I added foam tape to the back of my sentiment too. Lastly, I added some sequins to match.

On this card I used white cardstock and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide ink. I then cut it out using a Spellbinders die. I stamped the sentiment from Oodles stamp set in black ink. I added sequins and added my panel to a kraft A2 card base. I hope you like my cards. Use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch 29

Hello everyone, I’m back with another BYSH Cardmakers Sketch 29 Project. I hope you love this sketch challenge as much as I do. It’s a great way to use up some of that pattern paper that we end up saving.

Isn’t this Santa cute? I had to use him for this card. This Santa die is a Spellbinders die that I have had for a while now. He was easy to put together. I first cut out my pattern papers from LDRS City Sidewalks Paper Pad 6×6. I use a ruler and my paper trimmer to help me with the sizing for the sketch. I also used a circle die to cut out my circle for the center focal point.

I also copic colored Santa’s skin and beard. Lastly, I added some white gel accents with my Gelly Roll pen. I glued my pattern papers together onto a gray A2 card base. I then glued my Santa. I didn’t add any embellishments or a sentiment to this card, I liked it without. I also loved the pattern paper to much to cover it up. I hope you like my card and participate in the challenge. The challenge ends on January 31, 2023. Must add in the FB album to be eligible to win a prize.

I Chews You!

Hi everyone! I have a fun card to share. I’m finally getting into Valentine Crafting and I am in the process of moving into my Craft room. I hope to share more with you soon! Now here’s my card.

Well isn’t this Gumball Machine cu-te? I have my Cameo Silhouette set up now on a stand that rolls yay. So this SVG file was in my Silhouette Library that I purchased years ago called Gumball Machine So Much Pun by Doodlebug Design. I cut out all my pieces to build my Gumball Machine with colored 12×12 cardstock. I then put my gumball machine together. Some pieces like gray and dark gray I will use the lightest paper for all and then use my copic marker to color it darker. It saves time. I didn’t cut out enough gumballs so I just colored in my own gumballs using markers.

I used a rectangle A2 stitched die to cut out this fun striped pattern paper from a retired MFT 6×6 paper pack. I stamped and heat embossed this pun sentiment from Simon Says Stamp called I Chews You onto a banner strip on black cardstock with white embossing powder. I glued my gumball machine to my pattern paper and then onto a A2 card base. I added my sentiment with a foam skinny strip and then added that big gum ball. Lastly, I added some enamel dots and white gel accents. I hope you like my Valentine card. I had a lot of fun making it! I will also be able linking this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes!

I love layered stencils and this one called Layered Flowers is really beautiful. I first grabbed some purple cardstock from Hero Arts. I then cut it out with a rectangle die. Next, I grabbed some white cardstock and ink blended the stencil 1 with Hero Hues Arctic Ink Cube and then I used stencil 2 and ink blended the hearts with Catherine Pooler Lilac ink. I cut out that background with a double stitched oval die.

I stamped a sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio Stamp Choose Hope stamp set in black ink onto my oval. I then glued my dry embossed rectangle and oval onto a A2 card base. Lastly, I added some sequins. I hope you like it. I had fun using 2 different techniques with my layered stencils. Use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off your order. Check out the New Release here

Sweet Celebration Wishes

Hello everyone! I have a card today using the New Three Diamonds Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs January 2023 Release. I will have supplies and a coupon code down below for you.

I have a fun Birthday card today. I love this Three Diamonds stencil, it is what I consider as a neutral stencil that you can use for any project. Those are my favorite type of stencils. On white cardstock I ink blended this stencil with Gina K Designs Blue Denim dye ink using a mini ink cube. I love this blue color. I don’t usually make kid boy birthday cards and I should have everything in my stash right? So I’m happy I do now. I cut out my background with a rectangle A2 die.

I had this cute MFT Stamps image pre-colored with watercolor pencils in my stash from the dailymarker30day. It’s been awhile. So happy I could use it on this card. This image is from Sweet Celebration stamp and coordinating die set. I also stamped the sentiment from the stamp set with the same ink, and cut it out with a banner die. I left it without any embellishments. I hope you like it. Use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase. Check out the New Release here
