You Are Thoughtful!

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a Autumn card today using a New Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.

Isn’t this stencil fun? It’s called the Maple Leaves Stencil. I grabbed some white cardstock and placed my cardstock and stencil on my Make Art Stay-tion. I used some Fall colors for my ink colors. I used Ripe Persimmon, Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint, and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide inks. I then flicked some of my ink colors onto my background with a little bit of water and a paintbrush. It was so fun and easy to make this background.

I then used a stitched scalloped die from Waffle Flower crafts to cut my panel out. I cut out some pattern paper with the rectangle stitched die from Waffle Flower Crafts. I glued my background to my pattern paper and my pattern paper to a card base. My sentiments are from a Hero Arts Color Me Words stamp set. I stamped a sentiment with a brown ink and cut it out with a circle die, and my secondary sentiment was cut out as a banner with my paper trimmer. Lastly, I added green gems. I hope you like my Autumn card. Use my code Von Fan10 for 10% off your purchase at A Colorful Life Designs

Happy Fright Night!

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a Halloween card for you today! I love Halloween and Fall. I used a New Stencil Drippy Moons from A Colorful Life Designs September Release. If you love Fall and Halloween, this Release is for you.

I had so much fun making this card. I decided to use black cardstock. I placed my stencil over it and used Distress Paint in Shaded Lilac. The paint has a dauber round tip so I just placed it over each drippy moon. When it was dry I cut it out with a circle die.

I then cut out some orange and Lavender Pink glitter paper from my stash to layer my circle onto. I added all my layers onto a A2 card base and then added some orange gems. My sentiment I had pre done from Taylored Expressions Mini Strips that is stamped and heat embossed. I hope you like my card. Use my code VonFan10 for 10% off your order at A Colorful Life Designs.

Umbrellas

Hello Everyone! I hope you are doing well. Here is another card I made using A Colorful Life Designs September Release. This Release is so much fun and this stencil I used is called Umbrellas. I also used Technique Junkies Rain Sentiments.

I started out with a piece of white cardstock and Catherine Pooler dye inks. I laid my cardstock down and then my Umbrellas stencil. I used blending brushes and my Make Art Stay-tion. I was going for a rainbow look. I light ink blended.

I cut out my ink blended panel with a Rectangle die from Pinkfresh Studio. I then decided to cut out the inner portion with a tag die from Pinkfresh Studio. I added some Yellow twine from Lawn Fawn for interest. I stamped the sentiment with the pinky color from the dye inks I used on my panel. It just looks dark as I used my misti stamping platform to get a good impression. I fussy cut out the sentiment and added foam squares to the back. I added my panel to a card base and then added my tag with foam squares. My sentiment was then added. I then added some Yellow Pops of color to embellish. I hope you like my card it was fun and easy to make. Use my Code VonFan10 for 10% off your order at A Colorful Life Designs.

Trick Or Treat!

Hi everyone! The Not 2 Shabby Shop has a New Digital Release today! This cute Halloween Gnome, so precious. I first printed him out on Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock. I then colored him in with my Copic Markers. I used a pencil to guide me some lines on his hat. I then fussy cut him out, so easy to do.

I wanted a fun background for him and I love how it came out. I hope you do too! I used some black heavy weight cardstock with Shaded Lilac Distress Paint, Dina Wakley Heather Media Gloss Spray, Dina Wakley Tangerine Gloss Spray, Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain. I then added some Silver Gilding flakes. So fun. I used some Gina K Designs white pigment ink with Circle Tone Mixed Media Stencil from Brutus Monroe, placed randomly on my panel. I cut this panel when dry with a Hero Arts Wood Frame Infinity Dies. I also ran it through again with orange cardstock. I stamped and heat embossed with Wow Opaque White Powder and Versamark ink on black cardstock using a sentiment from Taylored Expressions Mini Strips Halloween. I cut it out with the coordinating dies. I added my Gnome and sentiment with foam strips and added it to my panel. My panel was then added to a A2 black card base. I hope you like it. In this card project I used the New Grass Edger 1 Stencil and the Cloud Edger Stencil that is from a previous Release. Use my code VonFan10 for 10% off your purchase.

I had so much fun using this stencil. I used both the Negative and Positive Stencils of the Grass edger 1 Stencil. I used Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink on Neenah Solar white 80 lb. cardstock using my Blending Buddy Brush. Some areas I would use with a heavier hand, I like the contrast. I then used the Cloud edger with Catherine Pooler’s Cove Blue dye ink for my sky with a light handed ink blending. When I was done ink blending I cut my background out with a stitched A2 rectangle die.

How fun are these cute kids from Lawn Fawn’s Tiny Birthday Friends? I stamped them on Neenah Solar white 80lb. cardstock with Oreo ink. I colored them in with my Copic markers and then cut them out with the Tiny Birthday Friends coordinating dies. I added my ink blended background to a A2 card base. I glued my images to my panel and then stamped a sentiment with Oreo ink onto a banner diecut. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. A freebie from a previous purchase. So cute and fun I think! After I desired the look I grabbed some of the same ink and flicked it with some water on my inked panel. I then cut my inked panel with a A7 embossed rectangle from Trinity Stamps. I layered it with orange cardstock using a slightly bigger rectangle. I added it to a 5×7 card base and added a sentiment greeting from Simon Says Stamp that I stamped with black ink and cut out with it’s coordinating dies. A Colorful Life Designs using the Waves Stencil

Hi everyone! I have a fun card to share with you today using this Beautiful Waves Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I really love this stencil and it was so easy to put this card together. Use my Code VonFan10 for 10% off your order when shopping at A Colorful Life Designs.

I first grabbed some Arteza 110lb Cardstock and trimmed it down to 6×6. I usually trim my cardstock to that size when using a stencil just in case there is a area I may not like, it gives me wiggle room to cut down to my liking. I used Catherine Pooler inks in Cove Blue and Sea Glass using my Trinity Stamps Blending Buddy brushes. I then flicked some water droplets and dried the excess with a paper towel.

I cut down my panel using a Lawn Fawn A2 stitched rectangle die that I ran through my Spellbinders Platinum Machine. I cut out some Sailboats from Memory Box using white cardstock. I colored them in using Copic Markers. I added strips of foam adhesive before adding them to my panel. I then stamped a sentiment from MFT Stamps You Keep Me Afloat using the same Catherine Pooler Cove Blue ink. I cut it down with my paper trimmer and added foam tape to the back before adding it to my panel. Foam was added to my panel before adhering it to my A2 card base. Lastly, I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to my sail boats and background. I hope you enjoyed my card. Use my code VonFan10 for 10% off.

Rainbow Builder Cards

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I made a video using A Rainbow Builder Stencil from Simon Says Stamp and you can watch the video here on YouTube.

I made three cards two on my own and one on video. On my first card(on the right) I first cut some Neenah Solar White 110lb. cardstock out and then laid this stencil out to make clouds using Catherine Pooler’s DayDream Dye ink. I then started with the biggest arch for the Rainbow Builder in this order Peppermint Scrub, Mandarin Spice, Sauna, and Eucalyptus. I wanted some clouds for my rainbow so then I used the stencil with DayDream with a heavy hand on my ink blending. Not too hard as I love to use a heavy hand. I cut my panel down and placed it in my Mini Misti to stamp the sentiment from a Concord and 9th Stamp set using Sauna ink. On my second card that is in Landscape form I did the same thing only I added a sun and sunrays using Sauna ink. I then added White Hearts to embellish them. I watched Nichol Spohr’s video and she used the stencil on her yellow envelopes so I did too. So that is where that inspiration came from.

Here is the one I did on video, using a different sentiment and ink color in Eucalyptus. I hope you have enjoyed my Rainbow Cards today. All products are listed down below. I appreciate your support.

Thank You So Much!

A Colorful Life Designs Petal Overlay

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well today. I have 2 cards to share with you using A Colorful Life Designs

This beautiful stencil is called Petal Overlay it is a larger stencil 6×9. I decided to make a A2 card with it. I first ink blended some white cardstock using Distress inks and Oxides. First, I ink blended Wilted Violet Distress Oxide at the top of my panel and then I used the Seedless Preserves Distress ink cube for the lower portion. I then placed my stencil over my panel using magnets and my Make Art Station. I ink blended the flower with the Dusty Concord Distress ink Cube. I took the stencil off and added some Spiced marmalade Distress Ink Cube for the center and ends of petals. I flicked some water on my panel and absorbed the wetness from my paper towel. I cut my panel to be smaller than a A2 size card and added foam to the back using liquid glue before adding it to my A2 card base. I have some sentiments already stamped and cut for me so I believe this one is from Taylored Expressions. I added it with foam onto my panel. As for my pearls, I won some embellishments from Little Things from Lucy’s Cards so these beautiful gems are called Pearls Glossy Ebony Mix. They are so pretty when the light hits them.

I made another card using colors that matched the Simon Says Stamp IG Challenge. I used Catherine Pooler Sea Glass and Catherine Pooler Pucker Up dye inks using the same Beautiful Stencil. I cut my panel shorter than a A2 card size and added foam to the back before adding it to a A2 card base. I added some Silver glitter cardstock from my stash to spruce up this Birthday card and added a Hemp bow. I then added Cool Mint gems from Little Things from Lucy’s Cards for the center. I then used a sentiment and coordinating die from Waffle Flower Crafts Label Maker set. I hope you like my cards, thank you for stopping by!

I am using Harley-Merbunny Stamp and Harley-Merbunny Die set for my Slimline card today. I made my background first using Bristol Cardstock, water, and Ken Oliver Color Burst in Cerulean. When it was dry I cut it out with a stitched Slimline Die. I decided I wanted some waves so I used Vellum and a wave die from Lawn Fawn that tucked around my slimline panel using scotch tape.

Cow Are You?

Hello everyone! I have a cute Slimline card to share with you today using a Digi Stamp from Kinda Cute By Patricia. It’s also a Birthday card. I am always in need of Birthday cards. Birthday cards might be my favorite to make!

Aren’t these cows Udderly Adorable? hehe. I thought how cute to make a Birthday card with these cows. This DIgi stamp is called Cow. I first printed them onto Georgia Pacific 110lb cardstock. I colored them in with my Altenew Artist Markers. I then fussy cut them out. You get three different cows but I just chose to color up two for this slimline card design.

I made my background using white cardstock and I first used the Big Balloon Stencil from MFT with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and a Cotton Tail Blending Brush. I then used a Cloud Stencil from MFT called Mini Cloud Edges with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I inked the Balloon string using the Balloon stencil and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink. I then used the Slimline Grassy Edges Stencil from MFT with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I very carefully used the balloon stencil and a cow print stencil also MFT which I believe is now retired with Gina K Designs White Pigment ink with a small blender brush. I had to do it a couple of times as it look a little chalky.

I used a Slimline Die set from Gina Marie Designs to cut my panel out. I added my cows popping one up with foam tape. I then stamped a sentiment using three sentiment stamps from Sunny Studio Stamps called Miss Moo that I stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I cut it out with my paper trimmer and then used my T-Square Ruler to place my sentiment straight with foam tape. My panel was then added to a black Slimline card base. I then added white gel accents with my white Signo pen and sequins. Can you believe I used four stencils for my card today? I hope you enjoyed my card, it was fun to make. Have a Great Crafty Day!
