Stars and Stripes

Hi everyone! Happy 4th of July. I hope you have a very safe and fun holiday. If you choose to celebrate. We have not much planned just lots of sweets and fireworks to do tonight. I have a card to share with you, I couldn’t wait to use this stamp set as I just received it yesterday. I wanted to enter it in the Red/white/and or Blue Challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

I used this really cute and Large Stamp Set from The Greeting Farm Miss Anya All Year. It was a Special preorder and Like I said earlier it arrived yesterday. Hopefully yours will arrive soon if still waiting on it to arrive. I stamped this image onto Neenah Solar White 80lb. and colored her up with my Copic Markers. Her Sparkler was hard to see with her black hair so I tried Stickles and a Gold gel Signo pen. I think she still looks cute. I added white gel accents from my white Signo pen. I then fussy cut her out.

I have had this patriotic pattern paper in my stash and it’s so pretty as it feels like it has stickles already on it. I cut it down slightly smaller than my A2 card base and glued it to my card base and added my Anya image. I chose not to use foam tape on this card. I added some gold dots to my pattern paper to match her sparkler. No sentiment as my pattern paper has one. Lastly, I added some Sapphire jewels from Pinkfresh Studio. Pretty easy card and I hope you like it.

Thank you for stopping by!

Pool Cards

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great week. I have some fun and really cute cards to share with you using Unity Stamps and since there are some Red/ White/ and Blue Challenges I made my cards using this color theme for my Summer Cards. I also plan on mailing these cards (wish me luck) LOL I have been behind on Happy Mail.

Aren’t these cards cute? I love girl images like this. This Stamp image was illustrated by my friend Sandhya Iyer and this stamp set is called Float Away. It’s so fun and when I seen it I knew I had to have it. I first started out making this card. I stamped this rubber stamp into my Mini Misti Stamping Platform. I used Fabriano Coldpress140lb Watercolor paper. I stamped the image with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and embossed with Hero Arts Clear embossing powder. The Pressure Pal Tool was so helpful for getting my image crisp. I taped down my image onto a wooden board using painters tape to hold it down and painted with my Karin Markers and a Altenew detailed watercolor Brush and water. I painted water around my image for fun. After, I achieved the look I desired I cut my panel with my paper trimmer. I cut out some white cardstock 110lb to use with MFT”s Pool Water Stencil. I used that stencil with Salvaged Patina Distress Ink and a Simon Says stamp Blender Brush. I then cut it out with a Gina Marie Designs Double Stitched A2 Rectangle die. I added foam to the back of my image and glued my image and panel to a A2 card base. I stamped the sentiment with Nocturne ink and cut out my sentiment with a banner die. I added foam partially on the back before adhering it. Lastly, I added some Pinkfresh Studio Glacier Jewels.

, On this card I changed the coloring around and the bating suit design. Everything else is the same except I fussy cut the image this time and added foam to the back before adding it to my ink blended background. The sentiment banner is glued on and more Glacier Jewels added. I hope you have enjoyed my Summer Red/Blue/ and White cards. So much fun to make. Thank you for stopping by!
