Thankful For You

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I made some Fall cards using Spellbinders Dies and a Embossing folder I guess you would say I used non traditional colors. I made 2 A2 cards and I had leftovers diecuts for a Slimline Card. No Stamping on these cards. I really like how they came out, let me show you!

I first used a Paper pack of cardstock 65lb from Michaels Recollections. The name of the pack is called Boutique Floral, and you get these colors featured. I just didn’t use the pink cardstock. With this cardstock I used the Spellbinders Autumn Leaves Die Set. I cut all 9 Leaves out using the 4 colors of cardstock. I then sprayed them with Tim Holtz Antique Bronze Distress Mica Spray. I then put them aside to dry.

On this Slimline Card I cut out some white cardstock using the Spellbinders Moroccan Kaleidoscope Slimline Die. I inkblended it using Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink and a blending brush. I also layered it on another piece of cardstock inkblended with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink. I also sprayed some more Mica Spray Stain on it to match. I added my Slimline panel to a Slimline Card base and arranged my Autumn Leaves and added hem with foam squares. The word die is from Simon Says Stamp that I cut out in coordinating cardstock and also added with foam squares. Gold Pearl embellishments were added to complete my card.

On my A2 cards I chose to use the Beautiful Spellbinders Falling Leaves Embossing Folder. I ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum Machine with white cardstock. I also ink blended with Distress Oxide ink in Antique Linen. I rearranged my leaves adding them with foam squares. This is another word die from the same die set from Simon Says Stamp using the coordinating paper pack. Adding the same Gold Pearl embellishments.

And here is my final card. I tried to make a wreath look on this one. As you can see in this photo I have more leaves leftover for another card, I love that. I hope you enjoyed my Fall Cards. I had so much fun making them.

Thankful For You!

Hi everyone! I’m happy to be on the Trinity Stamps Blog today with this Fall card and it was so much fun to make using the New Autumn Rainbow Cut & Foil Die Set.

I didn’t want to grab a bunch of colored cardstock for my leaves, so I colored with my Tombow Dual Brush Markers instead. I just scribbled randomly in what I thought were Fall colors onto Canson Coldpress Watercolor 140lb cardstock. It was my first time using this paper for hot foiling especially with my Tombow Markers.

I really loved how the Hot Foiling came out. I used Polished Brass Glimmer foil from Spellbinders and my Glimmer Hot Foiling System. I did that a few times to get a good amount of leaves.

I used the coordinating die that comes in the set and ran them through my diecutting machine. I think they came out so pretty. Oh just Another favorite die set of mine, that I will be using a lot.

Next, I cut my panel with some Gold Shimmer Cardstock using the Slimline Striped Panel die. I wanted it to match my leaves when I layered it so I scribbled again on Canson cardstock and cut it out with my paper trimmer. I colored some more cardstock for my word sentiment to match too. Such an easy way to match and you don’t have a bunch of unwanted scraps. Or you can use scraps you have too.

I glued my panels together and glued my leaves. I cut out the word die a few more times to layer and stamped a secondary sentiment to go with my word die using Thankful For You stamp set with brown ink and white cardstock. I used my paper trimmer to cut it.

Another favorite part of mine is adding some fabulous embellishments. Trinity Stamps definitely has the best embellishments. Of course I used my Pick Up Stick Tool. I used the Gold Eclipse Rhinestone Mix embellishments using a odd number amount and different sizes.

And since I had extra Leaves. I made a matching envelope using the Slimline Envelope Builder Die Set. I hope you like my Gold Foiling project for today. It was so much fun and I hope you’ll give it a try!

Glimmer Hot Foil and a CAS Card

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well. I recently received my Club Kit June Glimmer of the Month subscription called Sweet and Snarky Birthday Wishes from Spellbinders and I couldn’t wait to play with it. Let’s get started!

This card was so easy to make and I think it is so pretty and clean. Purple is my favorite color so of course I wanted to use so much purple together. I will definitely have to make more. First thing I did was use my Hot Foil Glimmer System from Spellbinders using the Happy Birthday Glimmer Plate and second sentiment Glimmer Plates from the GOM. I foiled with Lavender petal and Fuchsia Flower foil using Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. I cut out the Happy Birthday with the coordinating die and the banner die to cut out the second sentiment.

I used Spellbinders Color Block Slices Die set for my background design. Such a easy way to use up scraps from your stash. I used a Purple 12×12 textured Paper Pack from Michaels. I cut out all my pieces using my Spellbinders Platinum 8.5 Machine and glued them with Bearly Arts Glue to a A2 rectangle using matching paper, and using the largest rectangle from the Essential Rectangles.

I used the Coordinating die from the Happy Birthday sentiment and cut it out with 110lb cardstock three times to glue my foiled sentiment onto before adding it to my panel. My panel was added to a A2 side folding card base and my second sentiment was added. I embellished my panel with some Pinkfresh Studio Lavender Jewels. I hope you enjoyed my card, I will have to make some other color combos.

Thank you for stopping by, I appreciate your support.

Spellbinders May 2021 Glimmer Kit Of The Month

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I recently got my first Subscription of Spellbinders Glimmer Kit Of The Month Spot On Background and Sentiments and I absolutely love it!! I had to make some cards right away.

I made CAS cards using simple colors. This set is so much fun and comes with 10 plates and 3 cutting dies and Polished Brass foil that comes with this set. I first decided I would use my blue Moondust foil so that is the reasoning behind this color combo. I cut cardstock to A2 Size. I used my Spellbinders Hot Foil Glimmer System using the hinge method to foil my panels. As my Glimmer System would warm up I would cut my foil using Spellbinders Cutting System.

I then glimmered my sentiments using Polished Brass and blue Moondust Foil. I then would cut my sentiments with the sentiment Banner dies. I would use the dies with my colored cardstock to cut out the circles to match.

On the Black and gold card I used a Word die from Unity Stamps. It felt like a graduation card to me. I cut my panels shorter than A2 and added them to my A2 card bases. I then used Scrapbook’s Skinny foam strips to the back of my sentiment strips before adding them to my panel. I didn’t feel the need to add sequins to these cards as I feel like it might take away from the foil. I hope you like my cards, I plan on using this set with other colored cardstock.

Products Used:

Spellbinders GOM May

Polished Brass Foil

Moondust Foil

Cardstock 110lb Blue, White, Gold Foil

Scrapbook Double Sided Foam Strips

Spellbinders Hot Foil Glimmer Kit

Spellbinders Platinum Diecutting Machine 8.5

Spellbinders Quick Trimmer

Bearly Arts Glue

Using Spellbinders Glimmer Plate and Hot Foil System

Hi everyone! I have a video card share today using Spellbinders A Little Birdie Glimmer Plate and Die Set and The Glimmer Hot Foil System. I have the Video listed below and hope you will watch, and be a subscriber.

Isn’t this a cute set. It is so easy to make too. I used the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System with A Little Birdie Hot Foil Plate and Die Set. I used Neenah 110lb cardstock with Matte Gold foil on my cards today. I did some simple Copic Coloring and then diecut my bird out.

I cut my panel out with my paper trimmer to fit on a A2 kraft card base. I then added some clear foam tape to the back of my birdie before adding it to my panel. Lastly, I added some gold gems in different sizes.

Here is the inside of my card using a sentiment from the same set. I hope you like my card and hoping you got some inspiration. I will be back soon with another blog post. Happy Crafting.

Where The Flowers Bloom So Does Hope!

Hi everyone!!! I hope you are doing well and enjoying the Spring Season. Spring is my favorite Season and it is starting to get really warm. Today I turned my stencil backgrounds into cards. You might have seen them on Instagram where I colored my ink blended stenciled backgrounds with my Prismacolor Colored Pencils. Channeling my inner Kathyrac from thedailymarker30day.

I really love to foil and The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System is so much fun and easy. I have talked to a few friends who have doubts getting a new foil system. I was too but I am so happy I took the risk and grabbed it during one of their sales. I have tried other systems, I do own some and The Glimmer System is just more satisfactory to me. It takes seconds once warmed up to get your results. Maybe Minutes not seconds but you catch my drift. LOL. On these cards I used the Pretty Pink Posh Spring Flowers Stencils Which is a 2 pack. I first used yellow 65lb. cardstock with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink for my greenery. I then used Kitsch Flamingo, Carved Pumpkin, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink with my Blending Brushes for my flowers. Here is where I was inspired from Kathyrac. She always uses colored pencils so I used my Prismacolor Colored pencils on my ink, I even drew in centers for some of those flowers with my white pencil.

I then cut out my backgrounds with The Greetery’s Crimped Rectangle dies. I used my Glimmer Hot Foil System for my sentiment. I used Yana’s Blooming Birthday Collection Floral Background Plates and dies with Polished Brass Glimmer Foil. I foiled the sentiment on yellow paper to match. I then used the die to cut out a backing three times with my Spellbinders Platinum 8.5 for each sentiment. I love the depth. I then grabbed some gold metallic thread and wound it up to place on my panel before adding the sentiment. I added foam from my stash and added it to the back of my panel before adding it to my card bases. I chose to do a portrait and landscape card with White and Kraft card bases.

I also added Gold sequins with On Point Glue to my cards and that finishes off my cards. I hope you like my foil cards I will be back to share with you some more that I created soon. Happy Crafting!

Floral Sprigs Stenciling and Foiled Cards

Hi everyone! I hope your having a great day. I have been having sooo much fun with my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System, and I have two cards to share with you today!

I first started out with Broken China Distress Oxide ink, white cardstock 110 lb., Blending Brush, and the Floral Sprigs Stencil from Scrapbook.com. I used two 8.5x 11 pieces of cardstock so that I had enough background to cover 2-3 cards. I really love this stencil and it was perfect for my cards today. I added some silver flicks of paint using my paint brush and water to match the Silver Foil. I used the Essential Duo Lines Glimmer Rectangles plates and Silver Glimmer Foil. Even though it looks gold in my photos it is really a nice silver. I then cut my rectangle panel with my paper trimmer. I then used Laurie Willison’s Effortless sentiments with the sliver glimmer foil onto light blue cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die. I also used the die to cut out two more diecuts to layer my sentiment for dimension. I added my panel to a A2 card base and my sentiment with liquid glue. Sympathy cards are so hard to make but I really love this one. I then added a hemp bow and different shades of blue sequins to match.

On this card I made a Mini Slimline card using the Mini Slimline Rectangle Wafer Dies from Simon Says Stamp. I then foiled the flower on blue cardstock from Yana Smakula’s Blooming Birthday Collection Glimmering Peony Glimmer Plate with Silver foil and then I fussy cut it out. I love this peony it’s so pretty. Next time I will color it but I love just seeing the foil on this card. It’s so beautiful. I then added a sentiment using the More Sentiments Glimmer plates on the same blue cardstock and foil using my paper trimmer to cut it out. My panel with then added with foam tape to a card base and I popped the Peony up with foam tape as well as the sentiment. Lots of dimension. I then added silver sequins to match. I hope you have enjoyed my cards.

Thinking of You!

Hi everyone! Today I have another card to share with you. I recently purchased a Spellbinders Hot Glimmer Foil System Machine. I was hesitant about getting one since I own a a few foil machines and products for foil. Also my friend gifted me some glimmer plates so I took the chance while Spellbinders was having a sale. I love foil on cards and this machine is so fun and addicting that today I made 3 cards. I will show you one of those now.

On this card I used foil and glitter. I think you can’t go wrong with the two. I couldn’t find my blue foil for my flower dies so hopefully next time a whole different look. I first used Memory Box Widlflower Stems with blue glitter cardstock and put them aside. I then used Spellbinders Effortless sentiments from Laurie Wilson with Spellbinders Skybright Glimmer foil over black cardstock and then using the shadow cutting die to cut out my sentiment.

I used the Spellbinders Essential Duo Lines Glimmer Rectangles also with the Skybright Foil onto Simon Says Stamp White cardstock 120lb. It wasn’t perfect I had over foiling, but I think it was fine. On my next card it came out a lot better. This is my first time using this machine so practice makes perfect right? I trimmed my rectangle and glued it to a black A2 card base. I added my stems and added my sentiment with foam tape. I had this perfect blue mix of sequins on my desk so I added some onto my panel with On Point glue. I hope you like my card using the Spellbinders Glimmer foil system. I will be back to show you my other cards that I made.

Happily Ever After!

Hello my friends I have a Wedding Card to share. One of my friends asked me to make a Wedding card and since I didn’t have any in my stash let me show you what I made.

I love it and I hope you do too! I used the Spellbinders Wedding Dress and Tux Die set, Happily Ever After Sentiment, Sizzix Tim Holtz Elegant Embossing Folder, The Wedding Couple Sentiments, and the most beautiful paper called Brushed Metal Paper by Best Creation. So I started out diecutting all my pieces out using white, Vellum, black, and gray cardstock. For my flower I used some scrap pieces of cardstock from my stash. I glued my bride and groom and flower using Bearly Art liquid glue.

I then used the embossing folder with the Brushed Silver cardstock. I just cut it to a A2 size before putting it through my big shot. I love the texture so much. I glued it onto a A2 black card base. I then applied my bride and groom. My sentiment was cut out of black and silver glitter cardstock. Lastly, I added some silver glitter enamel dots from Waffle Flower Crafts and black enamel accents to the groom’s buttons.

Here is the inside of my card. I used Wedding Couple using one sentiment that I stamped and heat embossed with Wow Silver Metallic embossing powder over vellum. I then cut the sentiment with my paper trimmer and glued it to a white rectangle cardstock piece. I then used a rectangle die from Ellen Hutson for my gray frame. I hope you like my card!
