FA LA LA

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. It really feels like Fall here now, so I have started on Christmas cards. I used this 6×9 New FA LA LA Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs October Release.

I grabbed some white cardstock, and my Make Art Stay-tion and placed my stencil over my white cardstock using my magnets. I sprayed Festive Berries Distress Oxide Spray through the FA LA LA stencil. I let the stencil stay on my cardstock for a few minutes before removing it. I feel thst gives a better look because it was really wet when I sprayed it. You can probably use your heat tool to speed things up. I then let it dry completely before cutting it out with a A2 stitched rectangle. I then grabbed some red ink and ink blended on the sides of the rectangle and on some areas of my panel using a large blending brush.

How cute is this sloth from the Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember collaboration? I stamped it with Black hybrid ink using my Misti Stamping tool. I then colored it in with my copic markers before using the coordinating die set to cut it out. I then layered this sloth over a scalloped circle with foam squares. I ink blended it too to match. I added some matching festive sequins for some decoration. I hope you like my holiday card. I didn’t think it needed a sentiment because of the stencil being a word stencil. I might stamp on the inside though. This panel was added to a A2 card base. I hope you like my card, I really love this stencil to mass produce fast Christmas Cards. You can get this stencil at A Colorful Life Designs using my coupon code VonFan10 for 10% off your purchase. There is also a Master Creator Bundle discounted at 20% off.

You Can Do It!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great week. I have had a busy week so far, meetings and my son being sick. My mom being in the hospital. On a positive note everyone is getting better. I have a cute and Tropical card to share with you today. I love Toucans and these ones are so cute!

I started coloring for the Dailymarker30day challenge Last night. I thought these cute birds were easy and so cute to color. They are called from Pretty Pink Posh called Tropical Toucans. I stamped them onto Neenah 80lb. cardstock with Oreo Ink from Taylored Expressions. I then colored them in with my Copic Markers and placed white accents with my Signo Pen. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

To make my background, I grabbed some white cardstock. I used my Simon Says Stamp’s New Large Ink Blending Brushes. These are Large brushes so I got my background ink blended fairly quickly. I used Distress Oxides inks in Ripe Persimmon and Kitsch Flamingo. I then layered a Tropical Leaves Background Stencil from Lawn Fawn. I used Distress Oxide inks in Bundled Sage and Antique Linen.

Next, I cut my ink blended cardstock out with a LDRS A2 stitched rectangle die. I decided to add some sparkle with some Hydracolour paints in Bubble gum, Pina Colada, Tangelo, and Sour Apple. I placed my panel in my Misti Stamping Platform and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Oreo ink. I then glued my images onto my panel with liquid glue. The Toucan on top near the tree is added with foam. My panel was then added to a A2 card base. Lastly, I added Doodlebug Jewels. I hope you enjoyed my card!

Rainbow Builder Cards

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I made a video using A Rainbow Builder Stencil from Simon Says Stamp and you can watch the video here on YouTube.

I made three cards two on my own and one on video. On my first card(on the right) I first cut some Neenah Solar White 110lb. cardstock out and then laid this stencil out to make clouds using Catherine Pooler’s DayDream Dye ink. I then started with the biggest arch for the Rainbow Builder in this order Peppermint Scrub, Mandarin Spice, Sauna, and Eucalyptus. I wanted some clouds for my rainbow so then I used the stencil with DayDream with a heavy hand on my ink blending. Not too hard as I love to use a heavy hand. I cut my panel down and placed it in my Mini Misti to stamp the sentiment from a Concord and 9th Stamp set using Sauna ink. On my second card that is in Landscape form I did the same thing only I added a sun and sunrays using Sauna ink. I then added White Hearts to embellish them. I watched Nichol Spohr’s video and she used the stencil on her yellow envelopes so I did too. So that is where that inspiration came from.

Here is the one I did on video, using a different sentiment and ink color in Eucalyptus. I hope you have enjoyed my Rainbow Cards today. All products are listed down below. I appreciate your support.

Hello Friend

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a video of my newest card to share with you using CZ Design and Simon Says Stamp Products. I hope you’ll watch and subscribe. Thank you for your support.

In this video I used CZ Design Narwhal Friends Stamp Set and Narwhal Friends Die Set, Mini Slimline Rectangles, and a Maker Forte Stencil Going in Circles. I stamped them onto Fabriano 140lb. Coldpress cardstock using Versafine Onyx ink and Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder using my Misti Stamping Tool. I colored these cute Narwhals with Tombow Dual Brush Markers and a little bit of water using a Silver Black Velvet Brush. I colored them all the same and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I like how the dies cuts out the sentiments too.

I cut out some Bristol Smooth cardstock and used a Stencil from Marker Forte with Catherine Poolers New Cove Blue ink and a Altenew Large Blending Tool. I cut my panel with the largest slimline die and added it to a Mini Slimline Card Base. I added all of my Narwhals using Bearly Arts Glue. I added some matching sequins from Catherine Poolers Portland Mix and that finishes my card. I hope you like it and my video. Thank you for stopping by!

Tombow Dual Brush Markers Used:

N52, N95, 723, 925, 673

You Shine!

Hello everyone! I hope your having a great day today. Summer Break starts tomorrow so I am Super Excited. I made some cards to share with you. Let’s Get Started!

I’m finally using this gorgeous Magnolia Branches Embossing Folder from Simon Says Stamp. I made 2 cards both embossed differently. I embossed one after ink blending and the other one was embossed first than ink blending. I hope that makes sense? Looking at them both, I really like them. Can you tell? Which one is your favorite? As for my Distress ink Oxide colors I used Savaged Patina and Squeezed using my Altenew Blending Tools on Neenah Solar White 80lb. My panels were ran through my Spellbinders Platinum diecutting machine before embossed using the Chunky A2 Scalloped Rectangles. I used the largest die from that die set.

I then diecut the word die You Shine a few times trying to decide what looked better I tried black cardstock with white cardstock and since it says you shine I went with Silver mirrored cardstock with white cardstock. I really like this word die. I added it with foam tape. I covered the back of the word diecut with black cardstock so that I could inlay the letters from the “SHINE” easier.

My inked scalloped panels were added with foam using liquid glue and then I added some ink blended leaves using Tender Leaves that were ink blended with Bundles Sage Distress Oxide ink. Lastly, I added Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. I hope you have enjoyed my cards, they were fun to make.

You’re Awesome!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a card to share with you today and I will be entering it in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge-Things With Wings.

I knew I wanted to make a card using this Butterfly die from Waffle Flower Crafts. Thankfully I had this die before watching Jennifer McGuire’s YouTube Video. I first started out diecutting this die multiple times using white cardstock and my Spellbinders Platinum Diecutting Machine. I then like Jennifer Inkblended the white cardstock in rainbow distress ink colors so that I could diecut it again but this time it will be rainbow. I did layer up my diecuts and glued them so only the rainbow butterflies stayed in tacked. I then used a Butterfly Embossing Folder from Alexandra Renke.com with white cardstock since I didn’t own the waffle flower background die I think this worked well.

I doubled up the circle diecuts in the center and stamped my sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink from Brutus Monroe Super Sentimental. I glued my embossed background that I cut to fit on a A2 card base but slightly smaller. I then added my rainbow butterfly diecut and and popped my sentiment up with foam tape. I thought my card needed something more, so I had a leftover scrap that I decided to diecut a butterfly from Pink and Main’s Butterfly Cover Die. On the butterfly body I used a scrap of black cardstock. It still needed something more so I used a sentiment on my desk. This sentiment came from a bunch of Mini Strip sentiments from Taylored Expressions that I have stamped, heat embossed, and cut out with the coordinating die. They work out really well in the storage boxes from Taylored Expressions. So, I glued my butterfly, added glitter with my Spectrum Noir pen, and added sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. I hope you enjoyed my card, I will be back soon with another Blog Post.

Happy Crafting!

Peace!

Hi everyone! Today I have a Holiday card using a stamp from Simon Says Stamp. I did mail a bunch of Christmas cards out yesterday so that feels good. I still have some more I have to make and mail.

The stamp set is called Stamped Center Cut Holiday Floral Make Merry. I really love this stamp, it’s so pretty. I first stamped it onto alcohol friendly paper with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink. I then colored it in with my Altenew Artist Markers. I used the center stamp and stamped it with red dye ink. I then used a stitched circle and cut out the center portion. I cut out my image out with a double stitched rectangle and then replaced the center portion with foam tape for dimension.

I then used some white copic paint with water and a paintbrush and flicked some onto my panel. I then added my panel onto a A2 white heavy weight card Base. I didn’t add any embellishments as I like this card without them. It will also be easy to mail out. I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by!

I have listed Affiliate Links and they of course are no extra charge to you.
