Where The Flowers Bloom So Does Hope!

Hi everyone!!! I hope you are doing well and enjoying the Spring Season. Spring is my favorite Season and it is starting to get really warm. Today I turned my stencil backgrounds into cards. You might have seen them on Instagram where I colored my ink blended stenciled backgrounds with my Prismacolor Colored Pencils. Channeling my inner Kathyrac from thedailymarker30day.

I really love to foil and The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System is so much fun and easy. I have talked to a few friends who have doubts getting a new foil system. I was too but I am so happy I took the risk and grabbed it during one of their sales. I have tried other systems, I do own some and The Glimmer System is just more satisfactory to me. It takes seconds once warmed up to get your results. Maybe Minutes not seconds but you catch my drift. LOL. On these cards I used the Pretty Pink Posh Spring Flowers Stencils Which is a 2 pack. I first used yellow 65lb. cardstock with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink for my greenery. I then used Kitsch Flamingo, Carved Pumpkin, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink with my Blending Brushes for my flowers. Here is where I was inspired from Kathyrac. She always uses colored pencils so I used my Prismacolor Colored pencils on my ink, I even drew in centers for some of those flowers with my white pencil.

I then cut out my backgrounds with The Greetery’s Crimped Rectangle dies. I used my Glimmer Hot Foil System for my sentiment. I used Yana’s Blooming Birthday Collection Floral Background Plates and dies with Polished Brass Glimmer Foil. I foiled the sentiment on yellow paper to match. I then used the die to cut out a backing three times with my Spellbinders Platinum 8.5 for each sentiment. I love the depth. I then grabbed some gold metallic thread and wound it up to place on my panel before adding the sentiment. I added foam from my stash and added it to the back of my panel before adding it to my card bases. I chose to do a portrait and landscape card with White and Kraft card bases.

I also added Gold sequins with On Point Glue to my cards and that finishes off my cards. I hope you like my foil cards I will be back to share with you some more that I created soon. Happy Crafting!

Birthday Wishes!

Hi everyone! I am back with a Slimline Birthday Card today. I am always in need of Birthday Cards and I had a pretty stamp set calling wanting me to use.

I used a Stamptember stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp and Studio Katia called Flower Bunch. I love this stamp set, it is perfect for Slimline Cards. I first stamped it on Taylored Expressions Watercolor Paper with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink. I then colored it in with my karin BrushMarkers. I put a little ink on a stamp block and grab some color with a little bit of water with my Silver Black Velvet Paintbrush. I can control the color this way. I then fussy cut it out when it was dry. I did also use Prismacolor Colored Pencils for the Nooks and Crannies.

I used a Grid Coverplate Slimline die from The Ton Stamps for my panel. I then used Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink for my background with my Cotton Tail Blender Brush. I had some color leftover from my markers on my stamp block, so I flicked some paint splatters on my panel too. I then glued my panel to a piece of kraft cardstock from Brutus Monroe. I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock with Honeysuckle dye ink from Concord and 9th. I layered my sentiment after cutting my cardstock with my paper trimmer. I added my sentiment with foam tape as well as my floral image. I then added clear confetti with my embellishment wand and added my panel to a Slimline Card Base. I hope you like my card today. It was a lot of fun. Thank you for stopping by!

Holiday Tags!

Hi everyone! Not2Shabby has some New Digital stamps in the shop! I couldn’t resist this Holiday Latte image. I printed some out onto Georgia Pacific 110lb paper and colored them in with my Prismacolor colored Pencils. I then fussy cut them out. I added some green Nuvo glitter drops in Sunlit Meadow to the candy images in the whip cream Yum…I will take one of those right now!

I made my tags using Sugar Pea Designs Snowflake Tag. I cut it out with heavy weight Kraft cardstock, red cardstock, and then with white cardstock. I ink blended it with a stencil onto the kraft from LDRS called Plaid. I used Distress inks in Crackling Campfire, and Evergreen Bough Oxide ink rotating the stencil and blending with my Cotton Tail Blender Brushes from TRHD. I used one of the snowflake dies that comes with the tag set and added a gem with On Point Glue which was recommended to me for adding embellishments. and them not falling off. I splattered white paint with a little bit of water over my tags, and stamped my sentiment from Lawn Fawn Thanks A Latte in Catherine Pooler Deck The Halls ink. I cut the sentiment and added foam tape to one part of the sentiment for dimension. I added some Lawn fawn trimmings to tie my tags and that finishes them up! I hope you like my holiday Latte Tags and I hope I inspired you to make some of your own. Thank you for stopping by!

Isn’t it cute? I wish I was her right now. I first printed my images on Georgia Pacific 110lb cardstock. I then colored my images in with my Copic markers and fussy cut them out.

For the pool water look, I used a pool water stencil from MFT and Distress Oxide ink in Salty Ocean with a blender brush. I then used a Gina Marie Designs Rectangle die with pattern paper for my panel and added my pool with liquid glue. I added the girl with foam tape. I cut my sentiment out with my paper trimmer and added it with foam tape. I then added sequins, gel accents, Nuvo drop for her flower in her hair, and a paper flower. I( did use Squeezed Lemonade Oxide ink for the sentiment. My panel was added to a A2 card base.

So for this card I used Oxide inks in Vintage Photo, Wild Honey, Abandon Coral, and Squeezed Lemonade for my Pineapple. I also used my Prismacolor pencils. This is a Note card approx 4×3 that I rounder 2 of the corners with my cornor rounder tool. I then fussy cut the image out leaving a no line border and inking the sides with a black marker. I used a stencil from Neat and Tangled using the same colors on my card in inks. I glued my image and added my sentiment with foam tape. Lastly I added some matching sequins. Thankful I have a Cup/Like A Sister

Hi everyone! I have 2 cards to share with you today using Polka Dot Orchard Digital Stamps.

I used Thankful I have a Cup for this card. I printed this teacup and sentiment. The sentiment is on Mixed Media paper and the teacup is on Neenah Solar White 80lb. I colored the teacup with my Copic markers and fussy cut the teacup out and cut the sentiment like a banner to place my teacup on. I used a stencil from Simon says stamp and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink for my rectangle panel. I inked the sentiment to match and glued the image and sentiment to my rectangle panel. Lastly, I added clear confetti.
And for this card I used Like A Sister. I was going for a fall look with both cards I think. I stamped this image onto Georgia Pacific 110 lb paper. I printed it with the sentiment for a fun look. I then colored it with my Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils in some of the Nooks and crannies and fussy cut it out. I used a stencil from LDRS for my panel onto Kraft cardstock and I used a wonky rectangle from Simon Says Stamp. The distress oxide inks I used are Speckled Egg and Spiced Marmalade. I then added my image with foam tape to my panel and my panel to a A2 card base. I then used Nuvo Crystal Drops in Calming Aqua and I used Morning Dew on some areas on my image. You’re Simply Mervelous

Hi everyone! I have a fun card to share with you. I have been wanting to make a mermaid card so bad, so that is what I did.

I used this adorable mermaid from The Greeting Farm’s Mermaids Galore. It’s a huge stamp set with lots of images. So I first stamped and heat embossed this mermaid andturtle with versafine ink and clear embossing powder onto Neenah cardstock. I then used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut it out. I colored it in with my Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. I then used my Silver glitter glue to add some accents to her tail and hair accessory.
I made my background using two different stencils and Distress Oxide inks in Salty Ocean and Speckled Egg with my The Rabbit Hole Designs Blender Brushes. I used a stitched rectangle to cut out my panel and glued my mermaid and turtle onto it. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Gina K Designs Dye ink and glued my sentiment that I cut with my paper trimmer. I added white gel accents, sequins, and glitter glue dots. The little heart embellie is from Trinity Stamps. I hope you like my mermaid card. It was a lot of fun to make. Thank you for stopping by!
