You Are The Best!

Hi everyone! I hope you are feeling great today. I have a card I made for the Pinkfresh Studio February All about Love Challenge. You can use the theme or Color Scheme or both. I tried to do both. I have been wanting to do this challenge since it started and I just found TIME. I am barely making it, but made it! I will have supplies listed down below for you.

I first started out with some Hammermill Cardstock. I used the Hot Foil Plate Arch Backdrop with Gold Foil and my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System. Next, I cut my panel down with my paper trimmer. I then used the Arch Backdrop die on my Arch Backdrop foiled panel and ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum die cutting machine. It cuts the inner Arch piece.

Next, I cut my panel down as well as my inner Arch piece. I added my gold foiled panel with foam to a Kraft card base. I then added my inner Arch piece with liquid glue. I decided that I wanted to copic color my Foiled Arch panel to the color scheme. I would suggest coloring before adding it to your cad base with foam. It wasn’t difficult but I could have made it easier. Luckily, I colored simply using mostly one color sketch marker.

One of the colors mentioned on this challenge was Mermaid Cove so I used the ink cube to ink blend a large heart from the Shaker Heart Dies that was cut from white cardstock. I added a foiled sentiment from the Hot Foil Plate Fancy Script Words that was previously foiled on Hammermill cardstock with gold foil. I used the coordinating Fancy Script Words Die to cut the sentiment out. I glued my sentiment to my heart and I added foam to the back of my heart before adding it to my card front. I embellished my card using Gold Pearls. I hope you like my card, it was so much fun to make. I hope to participate next month, only sooner.

Thank you for stopping by!

The Lovely Layers Rose

Hi everyone. I hope you are doing well. I have a die that I was finally able to use from Honey Bee Stamps. The Lovely Layers Roses Die Set. It’s so pretty and Calyperson on Ig inspired me to make this card. I loved her card so much, so I made a card somewhat similar. Let me show you! I will have supplies listed down below for you too.

I first started out cutting out all the petals and leaves out with Hammermill cardstock. I ink blended then with different shades of pink ink using Simon Says Stamp Bubblegum ink and Do Si Do, Party Dress, and Pucker Up ink from Catherine Pooler. I used Altenew Parrot ink and Martini and Garden Party Catherine Pooler inks for the greenery.

I put my rose and greenery together using liquid glue. I tried to lift my leaves and petals to make them have some depth. Next, I grabbed my Brick Wall stencil from A Colorful Life Designs and some Fog Cardstock. Like Caly I used Nuvo Crackle Paste with my spatula to spread my stencil over my cardstock. She used a doily stencil and kraft cardstock. I let it dry.

I didn’t have a Tim Holtz Deckle Torn Edge Trimmer but I did have some decorative scissors from Michaels. So I cut my panel with those scissors. I love how it came out and I saved money not buying the paper trimmer. I glued my rose onto my panel when it was dry and added my panel to a A2 card base. I had a Glimmer Aura Hot Foiled Foiled Sentiment in my stash ready to go and so I added it with foam tape to my panel. Lastly, I added some sequins. I hope you like my card, it was so much fun to make. Use my code VonFan10 for 10% off your purchase at A Colorful Life Designs. I will also be linking this card up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Anything Goes. Another Challenge I will be linking up to is the DL. ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #294 Birthday. Stripes, Lemons and Blueberries!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well today. I have some Mini Slimline cards to share with you. I am participating in the Pinkfresh Studio August Challenge-Stripes. Let me show You what I came up with!

I first started out laying the Lemons and Blueberries Washi Tape out on heavyweight white cardstock. I then used the Lemons and Blueberries coordinating cuts to cut my washi out. I then used the cuts die to run through my die cutting machine with black heavyweight cardstock. I layered my washi pieces onto heavy weight black cardstock to make them more sturdy.

I then grabbed a sheet of white cardstock and placed the Gradiating Stripes stencil onto it and began ink blending using Candy Violet Dye ink with The Ink Stand Shop Ink Pad Holder and my Simon Says Stamp Large Blending Brush. I did that two times to make two Mini Slimline Cards. Next I used the Mini Slimline Essentials Bundle to cut out my stripes background.

I have already foiled sentiments ready to go from Pinkfresh Studio Celebrating You Foil Plate and Perfect sentiments Foil Plate. I had used my Spellbinders Hot Foil Glimmer System with Matte Gold Foil. I had them cut out already with the coordinating dies and I had already layered them with foam.

Next, I made Mini Slimline card Bases using white Heavy Weight cardstock. I added my panels, assembled my Lemons and Blueberries, and then my sentiments. I really love the way they came out and how fast they were to make. Lastly, I added some Sunshine Jewels to bring out the yellow lemons on my cards. I hope you like them.

You’re A Great Friend!

Hi everyone! Today I have a project for the Pinkfresh Studio July Challenge-Butterflies. I had so much fun making this project for the challenge. Here is what I made:

I started out using the Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate onto Heavy Weight cardstock 110lb. with Aura Foil using my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil system. I then used the coordinating Stencils going in order. The stencils have numbers on them. I first started with Passion Fruit, Persimmon, Clementine, and then Espresso Dye ink. I used smaller blending brushes to achieve a clean and efficient look.

Next, I cut out the butterflies with the coordinating dies. I love that Pinkfresh Studio has full complete sets like this. I inked up the Diamond Tiles Background Cling Stamp with Passion Fruit using my Misti and white cardstock. I then cut it out using the largest rectangle from the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles. I cut out some white cardstock using The largest die from the Ornate Banner set.

I began putting my card together. I added foam strips to the back of the Ornate Banner die before adding it to the Diamond Tiles Background. I then added the panel to a Kraft side folding A2 card base. I popped up two butterflies with foam and added some ephemera from Happy Blooms. I then semi popped up my sentiment that was foiled previously from Perfect Sentiments and cut out with the coordinating dies. Foiled in Glimmer Gold Foil using My Spellbinders Hot Foil Glimmer System. Lastly, I added some Lavender Jewels with my Pick Up Stick using On Point Glue. I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Thanks for taking a peek!

Love Each Day!

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well today. I have a card to share with you today that I made for the current June Pinkfresh Studio Challenge-All About Diecuts. So much goodness, let’s get started.

I first started out with the Happy Blooms 6×6 Pattern Paper pack. After finding a paper I wanted to use I looked through the Happy Blooms Ephemera pack and picked out some pieces to use. I then cut my pattern paper with the Simply Diamonds Die using my Spellbinders Platinum diecutting machine and then used a mint colored A2 cardstock from Scrapbook.com’s Cools Paper Smooth Cardstock for my bottom layer. I then used some foam strips that were the perfect size to place in the back of my Simply Diamonds panel before adding it to my colored cardstock. I then added them both to my A2 top folding card base.

I foiled the Bougainvillea Hot Foil Glimmer Plate with Matte Gold Foil onto Neenah 110lb cardstock using my Spellbinders Hot Foil Glimmer System. I then used the Folk edge Circles, using the largest die to cut out with my foiled print. It’s so pretty. I love adding foil to my projects. I added foam tape to the back of my Circle and added it to my panel.

Adding my Ephemera was next. I added some foam strips to add dimension. It’s fun sometimes to make a card not doing any stamping or coloring. This was a fun challenge for me. Lastly, I added some Emerald City Jewels.

Here is the inside where I used some scraps of the pattern paper and added a ephemera piece. It’s also fun and a extra touch when you decorate the inside even if it is just a scrap of paper. I hope you like my card using Pinkfresh Studio products. I will be back soon with another project.

Thank You for Stopping by!
