Christmas in July, Build Your Holiday Stash!

Hi everyone! Today I’m participating in a Christmas In July event called Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Hop. Jamie at the Not 2 Shabby Shop is a Sponsor so I am using her Digital Stamps for my card today. You can participate too on your project it needs to be Christmas, Winter, Yuletide, Hanukkah, etc. It begins July 23rd -30th. Use Hashtag #christmasinjuly2021byschop In celebration of the hop for the duration of this event Not 2 Shabby Shop is offering 20% off all Not 2 Shabby brand items! (Not valid on the box of the month and subscriptions.) Use Coupon: XMASINJULY

On this card I used Yum Yum, Pine Tree, Let It Snow, and Holiday Latte. I printed them out on white cardstock 110lb. I made my Hamster hold the Holiday Latte and cropped the hat from the snowman on the Let It Snow Digital Stamp. I colored them in with Copic Markers and fussy cut them out. On the hat I did cut it out without a border and used a black copic marker to clean it up a bit.

I mad my background using Canson Mix Media 138lb. paper, I ink blended using my new favorite ink Blue Ribbon using my blending brush. I then used Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink for the ground. I sprinkled some water droplets and dried the excess with a paper towel. I cut out my panel with a Lil Inkers Design Stitched rectangle, using the largest rectangle. I then used a snow drift stitched die from my stash with white cardstock to make a snow ground. I cut the excess paper off with my scissors. I glued my tree down and added foam to the back of my Hamster. I added a Tim Holtz Sentiment and used my Signo White Pen to make snow and to add gel accents. My panel was then added to a A2 Card Base. Glacier Jewels were added for fun. I hope you like my card. I hope you’ll participate in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Hop

Stay Cool

Hi everyone! I have a card to share and a confession. I have been eating Ice Cream everyday, I know I’m so bad. My recent obsession is Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream or some say Mint N Chip. I just love it!! So that is my inspiration for this card. I hope you enjoy and treat yourself to your favorite Ice Cream!

I used the Waffle Cone Ice Cream Digital Stamp Set from the Not 2 Shabby Shop. I also printed all the sentiments that are included. I first printed my Ice Cream and sentiments on Georgia Pacific 110lb Cardstock and then colored my ice Cream cone using my Copic Markers.

I made my background using Arteza 110lb. Watercolor paper and smooshing Gansai Tambi paint using a packaging from a stamp set. I used a dark brown, light brown, and mint colored paint color. I also flicked paint, the dark brown paint using a paintbrush and water. I then used a Hero Arts Circular Grid Background Cling stamp just inking up a corner with aVersafine Clair Nocturne black dye ink. I love the background. I hope you do too. I cut my background out with a A2 stitched rectangle die from Lawn Fawn and glued it to a A2 card base. I then glued my Ice Cream Cone and sentiment that I cut into a banner onto my card front. Lastly, I added pops of color in Pearl-Seafoam.

Thank you for stopping by!
