I have mini slimline cards today. I used the New Stencil called Layered Butterfly which is a 3×6 stencil and has a lot to it. I first started out with Hammermill cardstock. I laid down the part of the stencil using the butterfly body portion that I inked up with Apricot ink. I then used the stencil part with the detailed part of the butterfly using Terracotta ink. Next, I inked up the Abdomen with Versafine Clair in Nocturne ink. I used the negative butterfly to cover my butterflies one at a time to make my background blue using Distress ink in Prize Ribbon.
I cut down my panels with a Mini Slimline die set using the largest die. I then stamped sentiments from Simon Says Stamp Inside Friendship Messages Stamp Set using the same Versafine Clair ink. I added my panels to Mini Slimline card Bases and added some sequins. I hope you like them. They were so much fun to make. Check out the whole Release here and the Master Creator Bundle here. Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well today. I have some Mini Slimline Cards today. I used the Fab Streamers and Simple Happy Birthday Stencils from A Colorful Life Designs February Release. I will have supplies and a coupon listed down below for you.
On this card I started out with some black cardstock 110lb. I used the Fab Streamers 3×6 stencil with some Lawn Fawn Gold Stencil Paste. I let dry and worked on my sentiment. I used the Simple Happy Birthday stencil 3×6, but I only ink blended the “Happy” on black cardstock with white pigment ink. I cut it with my paper trimmer and then layered it on kraft cardstock. I used a birthday die and shadow die from PhotoPlay. I cut it out with kraft and black cardstock.
I then cut out my panel with a Cross Stitch Mini Slimline die from Kat Scrappiness using a smaller die. I layered it onto some gold glitter cardstock. I glued everything onto a Mini Slimline card base and added some stardust enamel dots.
On this card I used the Fab Streamers stencil on white cardstock using Cove ink and Stardust ink. I cut it out with the same Mini Slimline Die Set only this time layering it on white cardstock. I didn’t layer the “happy” from the simple Happy Birthday stencil this time. I used the birthday word die with white and blue glitter cardstock. I glued everything to a Mini Slimline base and added some Stardust enamel dots. I hope you like my cards, they were so much fun to make.
The Fab Streamer Stencil would be great for a Graduation Card too. I hope you’ll shop for some stencils, here is my code VonFan10 for 10% off your purchase. Also don’t forget there is a Birthday FB Challenge where you can win $15 credit to A Colorful Life Designs.
Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have some cute Valentine Cards to share with you today. I had so much fun using some of the Lawn Fawn Valentine Release. I will have products listed down below.
I used Lawn Fawn Products Scent With Love Stamp and Die, Scent With Love Add On Stamp and Die, Giant XOXO Die, Polka Heart Backdrop Portrait Die, Mini Slimline Stackables Large Die, and the Freebie Stamp Simply Celebrate Hearts.
This was the first card I made. I stamped all my images onto Hammermill cardstock using MFT Extreme Black ink. I colored them all in with my Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I ink blended the Giant XOXO die using Barn Door and Festive Berries Distress Oxide inks using my blending brushes. I cut out the Polka Heart Backdrop die using Hammermill cardstock and I ink blended it with Flamingo Kitsch Distress Oxide ink. I then glued my cute images to my panel. I ran the Giant XOXO a few times through my Spellbinders Diecutting Machine with white cardstock and glued it to the back of my ink blended Giant XOXO. My panel was then added to a A2 white card base. I added some white gel accents with my Gellyroll pen.
I had to make some Mini Slimline cards and I really like the new Large Mini Slimline Stackables dies. I used them with the Polka Heart Backdrop die and some pink textured cardstock. I cut my sentiments and glued everything to my panel. My panels were then added to Mini Slimline 3×6 card bases. To decorate these I used the mini hearts from the Polka Hearts backdrop die.
Here are some more A2 cards I made. I used the border heart stamp image from the Free stamp Simply Celebrate Hearts. It has face images so I stamped a couple on one border for some added cuteness. I fussy cut out the borders and stamped some sentiments from the same stamp set. Those sentiments were cut out with my paper trimmer and scissors making a flag. Everything was glued to my Polka Heart backdrops and these panels were added to A2 card bases. The Giant XOXO was cut out with pink and white cardstock a few times for depth. I hope you like all my cards. I had so much fun making them. I still have some images colored for another set of cards. I will be back soon, thank you for taking a look.
On this Mini Slimline Card I used the Rainy Stencil onto Neenah Solar White 80 lb. with Catherine Pooler Dye ink, Make Art Stay-tion, and blending brushes. I ink blended the Umbrellas with a Summery Vibe and then thought I would fussy cut them out. So I fussy cut them out and put them aside. On another piece of the same cardstock I ink blended the raindrops. I then cut that panel out with a stitched Mini Slimline rectangle die. I stamped the sentiment from the Technique Junkies Rain Sentiments set with the blue ink to match. I then fussy cut it out to fit better on my panel. I glued the panel to a card base and added one umbrella with foam tape and the sentiment too. Lastly, I added white gel accents and sequins.
Since this is the second card, I used one of the umbrellas I had ink blended already. I used pink cardstock and added some raindrops using the Rainy Stencil and same blue ink. I cut the pink cardstock with a scalloped Mini Slimline rectangle die and added it to a Mini Slimline card base. I stamped one of the sentiments from Technique Junkies Rainy Sentiments with black ink on white cardstock and cut it out with a rectangle die. I glued my sentiment and I popped up my umbrella with foam tape. I then added white gel accents and Confetti. I hope you like my cards.
