Level Up Birthday Card!

Hi everyone! I have a Special Birthday Card to share with you and it’s another light up card using EZ Lights from Pear Blossom Press.

Today is my Son’s Birthday he is 7. He has been so excited counting down everyday. And he should right?? He has been so excited with my light up cards that I thought I am going to make him one. So I used MFT’s Game Controller Die-Namics. It’s a great die and I have a few gamers in my family. I copic colored some Neenah Solar White cardstock for the buttons on the controller before running the dies through my Spellbinders Platinum Machine. I used heavy weight black cardstock for the controller and diecut it two times for dimension.

I then stamped and heat embossed this cute boy image from The Greeting Farm’s Gamer Couple. I had used the girl previously for my daughter so I was happy to used this boy for my son. I copic colored him and matched his clothes to my sons clothes. I then fussy cut him out. I made the background stamping the small icon images from the stamp set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink using my Misti. I colored those images with copic markers too. I added my EZ Lights to the back of my background panel. I used a small hole puncher to have my lights show through. I use scotch tape to secure my wires into place. I then added Clear Foam Tape 5MM to the ends so that my power button would not be noticeable at all. I then cut my background to layer on a 4.25 x 5.5 black cardstock and then glued them to my A2 card base. The boy and controller were glued with liquid glue.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the same Gamer Couple stamp set onto Pear Blossom Press’s Black sentiment cardstock with Versamark and WOW Bright White Opaque embossing powder. I cut them down with my paper trimmer. The “Press Here” sentiment is from MFT Interactve Labels that I heat embossed and cut out with a circle die from Waffle Flower Crafts. I hope you like my card, it was a lot of fun to make and I know my son will love it!!

Shadow Box Cards using MFT

Hello everyone! Today I have some fun and cute cards to share with you and I have a video explaining them on my YouTube Channel here. I would love for you to subscribe as I am a New to YouTube and would love to grow. https://youtu.be/Km534Sl6Jms

Aren’t they cute?? My new obsession. I used the Shadow Box Dies along with the Spring Gnomes Stamp Set from MFT. I stamped them with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink onto Neenah 80lb white cardstock. I colored them in with my Copic Markers and used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut them out. My cutting machine did cut some of my flowers but I had stamped extra so it worked out. I did use some colored and pattern paper for my boxes. I also used some ink blended cardstock from a previous project.

I used the ink blended cardstock I believe it is Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide used with the Outside the Box Grass die for my grass. I did stamp a sentiment on the one of the grass that I placed on front of my box.

Lastly, I added Pops of Color in Lemon Chiffon and Soft Pink. And these cute Gnome decorations are from Rite Aid around $4 so cute right? I hope you like my shadow boxes I really had fun and love how they fit into a A2 size envelope! Thank you for stopping by!

You Make Life More Fun!

Hi everyone! Here is my take on ter current MFT Sketch Challenge! I also am linking this card up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes. I thought these challenge were fun and easy for me to do. I would love it if you watch my video and subscribe to my channel https://youtu.be/BJcbhsg6E0Y

I chose to use this stamp set called Frost Loving Friends from MFT. It was new in my stash and I have been eager for a project so I can use it. I first stamped and heat embossed the image with Versafine black ink and SSS Clear fine embossing powder onto Neenah Solar White cardstock 80lb using my Misti. I colored the image in with Altenew Artist Markers and Copic Markers for the penguin. I also colored the background of the circle with Altenew Artist Markers. I used the circle dies from Waffle Flower Additional Circles to cut it out.

I then cut out another piece of cardstock for my background. I used Clouds in My Coffee Stencil with Brocken China Distress Oxide ink with my Cotton Tail Blending Brush. I used Mowed Lawn for my grass also using a blending brush. I also used the Slimline Grassy Hills die to cut my grass out. I cut out my panel using Trinity Stamps Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Windows die set, and the largest of those dies to cut out white cardstock to layer.

I had stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from the same Frost Loving Friends onto same cardstock and cut it out with a Lawn Fawn Everyday Sentiment Banner die. I tucked the sentiment behind my image I didn’t want to cover up those cuties. As for my two elements near the circle. I chose to use clouds from the stamp set with Brocken China Distress oxide ink and fussy cut them out. I glued everything with Bearly Art Precision Glue and added my panel to a Neenah Solar White 110lb Slimline card base. I hope you like my take on the challenge. It was so much fun. Thank you for looking and stopping by!

Beautiful Birthday Girl

Hi everyone! I’m excited to participate in the weeks MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge MFTWSC499. I have been wanting to participate again and this one I could not pass up.

I finally used this stamp set..yess!! This one is called Unicorns and Glitter. I first stamped all the images from this stamp set onto Neenah Solar white cardstock. I colored them in with my Copic Markers and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut. I just chose to use these cuties for the sketch challenge though.
I used A stitched Rectangle die from Lil Inker Designs, a square die from Waffle Flower, and a banner die from Blueprints Sketch 31. My sentiment is from MFT Sunflower Sweetheart stamp set. I inked my square with Cracked Pistashio Distress Oxide ink. I inked my sentiment banner strip with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink before stamping my sentiment. I added some white gel accents with my white Gelly roll pen and I used my black Gelly roll pen for the cuties eyes. I glued everything and added my panel to a A2 card base. Lastly, I added some sparkle with my Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Pen. I hope you like my card, it was so much fun to make and these sketch challenges get you to make a different design you may have never heard of. Well tahnk you so much for stopping by!
