Hot Cocoa

Hello everyone! Okay I’m back again! I forgot I made this card and well I might as well link it up to the 2021 Fall Winter Coffee Lover Hop. I hope you are doing well.

I used Graciellie Designs Coffee With A Heart and Christmas All Around Background Stamps for this card. I first stamped and heat embossed the heart Coffee on Fabriano 140lb. cardstock with Black dye ink and clear embossing powder. I then masked the coffee with masking paper and stamped and heat embossed the background stamp using red ink and clear embossing powder. I stamped and heat embossed the spoon on a different piece of Fabriano cardstock.

I colored my heart coffee cup and spoon with Metallic Karin markers. I used the regular Karin Markers for the hot cocoa and marshmallows using a paintbrush and water. I fussy cut the spoon out and cut out my panel using a double stitched rectangle die. I added some green stickles and sequins and that is it for this card. My panel was added to a A2 card base. I hope you like it, another fun one! Thanks for taking a peek!

Pool Cards

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great week. I have some fun and really cute cards to share with you using Unity Stamps and since there are some Red/ White/ and Blue Challenges I made my cards using this color theme for my Summer Cards. I also plan on mailing these cards (wish me luck) LOL I have been behind on Happy Mail.

Aren’t these cards cute? I love girl images like this. This Stamp image was illustrated by my friend Sandhya Iyer and this stamp set is called Float Away. It’s so fun and when I seen it I knew I had to have it. I first started out making this card. I stamped this rubber stamp into my Mini Misti Stamping Platform. I used Fabriano Coldpress140lb Watercolor paper. I stamped the image with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and embossed with Hero Arts Clear embossing powder. The Pressure Pal Tool was so helpful for getting my image crisp. I taped down my image onto a wooden board using painters tape to hold it down and painted with my Karin Markers and a Altenew detailed watercolor Brush and water. I painted water around my image for fun. After, I achieved the look I desired I cut my panel with my paper trimmer. I cut out some white cardstock 110lb to use with MFT”s Pool Water Stencil. I used that stencil with Salvaged Patina Distress Ink and a Simon Says stamp Blender Brush. I then cut it out with a Gina Marie Designs Double Stitched A2 Rectangle die. I added foam to the back of my image and glued my image and panel to a A2 card base. I stamped the sentiment with Nocturne ink and cut out my sentiment with a banner die. I added foam partially on the back before adhering it. Lastly, I added some Pinkfresh Studio Glacier Jewels.

, On this card I changed the coloring around and the bating suit design. Everything else is the same except I fussy cut the image this time and added foam to the back before adding it to my ink blended background. The sentiment banner is glued on and more Glacier Jewels added. I hope you have enjoyed my Summer Red/Blue/ and White cards. So much fun to make. Thank you for stopping by!

Watercoloring Digital Stamps!

Hi everyone! I am so happy to be Guest Designing for Stamplorations today over on their blog! I have a trio of projects using Digital Stamps. I used Fluttery Garden A2 Card Fronts, and Cupful of Blooms to share with you for Digital Spotlight Wednesday that I Watercolored.

For this card I chose to use the Fluttery Garden A2 Card Fronts Digital Stamp. I first printed this Beautiful A2 card front onto watercolor paper 110lb. I love the butterflies so much. I then colored it in with my Karin Markers, Silver Black Velvet water brush, and water. I like to grab my marker and lay some color onto a stamping block and grab water and color to my liking. I then added some gold metallic paint and added it in parts on my flowers and butterflies. I also added some matching blue plaint splatters to my panel for interest.

I cut out my panel with a rectangle die from stash and cut out blue cardstock with a larger rectangle to layer. I then grabbed a gold doily and layered it also. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from the Bloomfully Thankful stamp set with glittered gold embossing powder. I glued everything to a A2 black card base. My watercolored panel was then added with foam tape and Iridescent sequins .

On this card I used again another image from the Fluttery Garden A2 Card Fronts digital stamp set. I printed it also on 110lb paper. I colored it also with my Karin Markers. I added gold metallic paint on the centers of my flowers. I flicked some pink water droplets onto my pane with my paintbrush. I chose to fussy cut around the flowers and attached it to my negative part of my panel. I added foam tape to the back of my flowers for dimension. I layered my panel with black and gold cardstock and added it to a black card base.

I stamped my sentiment with black ink onto the same watercolor paper from the Bloomfully Thankful stamp set and layered it with black cardstock before adhearing to my card. I then added gold glitter enamel dots.

On my final project, I used the Cupful of Blooms and printed again on the same watercolor 11olb paper. I used my Karin markers but with a different color palette. I love the blooms in this image. I ink blended around the image with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide ink. I love purples.

I then used the Manila Tags Nesting dies with the second to largest die and cut my watercolored image out. I then layered it with purple textured cardstock that I cut out with the same tag die. I glued them together and then stamped my sentiment again from Bloomfully Thankful. Lastly, I added sequins and purple seam binding for my tag. I hope you like my watercolored projects for today. I will be back next month with another Trio of projects to share. I had a lot of fun with these. Make sure and use my coupon code STAMPGIRLVONMARIE for 20% off your order.

Fall Bouquet

Hi everyone! I have a Fall card today, even if I didn’t use traditional Fall colors I had a lot of fun making it.

I used this beautiful stamp set called Fall Bouquet by Miss Ink Stamps. I first stamped the florals and stems onto Taylored Expressions Watercolor Paper with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink using my Misti stamping tool. I then used my Karin Brush Markers, Silver Black Velvet brush, and some water to color my florals to my liking. I did let it dry and came back the next day to add a little more layers. I then fussy cut them both out.

I used some pieces of cardstock with watercolor paper using a double stitched rectangle from Gina Marie Designs. I splattered it with my Gansai Tambi gold paint using Starry Colors using paintbrush. I also used a left over red color from my Karin Marker. After it was dry, I added my panel to a A2 card base. I added my stems with liquid glue and then added my florals with foam tape. I put my card front into my misti and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with Ranger Gold powder and my Versamark ink. Lastly, I added some glitter gold enamel dots. I hope you like my card. Thank you for stopping by!

I used some Afflitiate Links but at no cost to you if you click on them.

Birthday Tags

Hi everyone! I made some tags for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge-Not A Card.

So for these tags I used Simon Says Stamp products. I used the Large tags, Gift Boxes Background Stamp, and for the sentiment I used Dog and Cat Dress Up. I first stamped the background stamp with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink using my Misti onto Taylored Expressions Watercolor paper. I then painted the gift boxes with Karin Brushmarker Pro, stamp block, some water, and Silver Black Velvet brush. After a few layers of color I splattered some Gansai Tambi to add some gold. I also added some blue splatter with my Karin Brushmarker Pro.

I cut my Gift Boxes using both tag dies and then cut it out 2 more times with white cardstock to make them sturdy. I stamped the sentiment onto blue cardstock with Versamark and gold embossing powder. I then cut it out to make it them fishtail banners. I added foam squares to the back and attached them to my tags. The seam binding ribbon is from My Scrapcabin Shop on etsy and the rhinestones are from Trinity Stamps called Gold Eclipse that I glued with On Point Glue. I hope you like my Birthday Tags? They were so fun to make and I will be using them on someone’s present hopefully soon. Thank you for stopping by!

Always!

Hi everyone! I have a card to share with you today using The Rabbit Hole Designs Turtle Botanical stamp set.

I first stamped and heat embossed this turtle onto Canson Coldpress 140lb watercolor paper with Versafine ink and clear embossing powder. I then colored it in with my Karin Brush Marker Pros and a little bit of water. I then cut it out with a double stitched Rectangle from Gina Marie Designs.

I then used the Drop It Stencil with Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink and a Cotton Tail Blender Brush and ink blended just the sides of my rectangle. I then used my paper trimmer to cut that panel out. I added some twine and wrapped my stencil rectangle around two times before adding my turtle with foam tape. I stamped a sentiment from the Tattoo Affirmation Stamp set with Versafine Clair Green Oasis ink and added that with foam tape. I didn’t think this card needed sequins or drops. Lastly, this panel was added to a A2 top folding card base. I hope you like it. Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone! I have a card to share with you today. I was asked to make a Birthday card and this is what I came up with.

I started out by using this already made panel from Unity Stamps that was a Digital stamp. It is called Gingko greetings. This digital is not for sale as a digital anymore but it is a red rubber stamp so you still can get it. Yay. My friend Sandhya Iyer illustrated it. So I printed four panels out on a 8×11 sheet of Bristol cardstock. I knew I wanted to watercolor it, because I have colored one previously in a different color combo. I chose to use a blue color combo this time using my Karin Markers, a black velvet brush, and water. I let my panel dry and then I added gold paint droplets from my Kuretake paint set. I cut my panel with a rectangle die set from the Greetery.

I used Sugarpea designs Happy Thoughts for my sentiments. I stamped and heat embossed the “happy” on to my panel with Versamark and clear embossing powder using my stamping tool. I then heat embossed the rest of the sentiment onto black cardstock with white embossing powder. I cut it with my paper trimmer and added that sentiment with foam tape onto my panel. My panel was then added to a black papel sightly larger and then added to a blue A2 card base. I added some gold sequins to match and that finishes my card. I hope you like it. I hope the recipient likes it too! Thank you for stopping by!
