A Colorful Life Designs September Release and Collab.

Hi everyone! A Colorful Life Designs September Release is available. So many fun New Stencils. Also so exciting A Colorful Life Designs has a Collaboration with Technique Junkies. We are featuring A Colorful Life Designs Rainy Stencil with Technique Junkies Red Rubber Rain Sentiments Stamp Set.

On this Mini Slimline Card I used the Rainy Stencil onto Neenah Solar White 80 lb. with Catherine Pooler Dye ink, Make Art Stay-tion, and blending brushes. I ink blended the Umbrellas with a Summery Vibe and then thought I would fussy cut them out. So I fussy cut them out and put them aside. On another piece of the same cardstock I ink blended the raindrops. I then cut that panel out with a stitched Mini Slimline rectangle die. I stamped the sentiment from the Technique Junkies Rain Sentiments set with the blue ink to match. I then fussy cut it out to fit better on my panel. I glued the panel to a card base and added one umbrella with foam tape and the sentiment too. Lastly, I added white gel accents and sequins.

Since this is the second card, I used one of the umbrellas I had ink blended already. I used pink cardstock and added some raindrops using the Rainy Stencil and same blue ink. I cut the pink cardstock with a scalloped Mini Slimline rectangle die and added it to a Mini Slimline card base. I stamped one of the sentiments from Technique Junkies Rainy Sentiments with black ink on white cardstock and cut it out with a rectangle die. I glued my sentiment and I popped up my umbrella with foam tape. I then added white gel accents and Confetti. I hope you like my cards. I made a A2 card. I really have had so much fun using this kit, On this card, I really wanted to focus on this Beautiful Marigold Orange ink color. I love it and the other ink colors. I think I will be using this Marigold Orange ink a lot for the Fall as well. I stamped the larger floral image from Summer Blooms Stamp Set with the Marigold Orange and the leaves with Goddess Green ink using my Misti Stamping Platform. I also stamped some of the leaf silhouette stamps with Goddess Green ink and the smaller floral images with the Marigold Orange. I colored in my larger floral with a orange Polychromos Faber Castel colored pencil. I also did a little shading with a green Polychromos Faber Castel colored pencil. I then cut them out with the Summer Blooms Coordinating Dies.

I cut out some pattern paper with the Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack using pattern paper from the kit. I then stamped a sentiment onto Neenah Solar White from the Big & Bold sentiment stamp set using the Marigold Orange ink color. I cut my sentiment with my paper trimmer. I added a secondary sentiment using Goddess Green ink and the Supporting Script sentiment stamp set. I added my pattern paper to a A2 card base and arranged my floral and sentiments using foam squares for the florals and first sentiment. I used liquid glue for the secondary sentiment. Finally, I added some Summer Sparkles to finish my card off.

I hope you like my card. Thank you fro taking a peek!

Stripes, Lemons and Blueberries!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well today. I have some Mini Slimline cards to share with you. I am participating in the Pinkfresh Studio August Challenge-Stripes. Let me show You what I came up with!

I first started out laying the Lemons and Blueberries Washi Tape out on heavyweight white cardstock. I then used the Lemons and Blueberries coordinating cuts to cut my washi out. I then used the cuts die to run through my die cutting machine with black heavyweight cardstock. I layered my washi pieces onto heavy weight black cardstock to make them more sturdy.

I then grabbed a sheet of white cardstock and placed the Gradiating Stripes stencil onto it and began ink blending using Candy Violet Dye ink with The Ink Stand Shop Ink Pad Holder and my Simon Says Stamp Large Blending Brush. I did that two times to make two Mini Slimline Cards. Next I used the Mini Slimline Essentials Bundle to cut out my stripes background.

I have already foiled sentiments ready to go from Pinkfresh Studio Celebrating You Foil Plate and Perfect sentiments Foil Plate. I had used my Spellbinders Hot Foil Glimmer System with Matte Gold Foil. I had them cut out already with the coordinating dies and I had already layered them with foam.

Next, I made Mini Slimline card Bases using white Heavy Weight cardstock. I added my panels, assembled my Lemons and Blueberries, and then my sentiments. I really love the way they came out and how fast they were to make. Lastly, I added some Sunshine Jewels to bring out the yellow lemons on my cards. I hope you like them.

If you just want to shop for individual stencils or the New Stamp Set. Use my code for VonFan10 for 10% off your purchase.

On these cards I used New Stencils from the New Release School of fish, Swimming Fish, Underwater edger 4, Underwater edger 3, and Underwater edger 2. I love that these were added onto the August Release. I love these underwater stencils. On this card I used inks Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink, Catherine Pooler Bay Breeze Ink, and Catherine Pooler Cove Blue ink on white cardstock. Aren’t these colors of ink fun? I used both the positive and negative pieces of stencils to create my underwater scenes. I placed my stencils on my Make Art Stay-tion using my magnets. I loved using smaller blending brushes for the fish stencils. When I was done I cut my background out with my paper trimmer. I added a stamped sentiment I had in my stash, I like to have sentiments on hand to help my card process seem faster. I added sequins and then added my panel to a A2 card base.

I used the same inks on this card with a little bit of a different design. I had ran this Lawn Fawn Giant Sending Big Hugs die through my die cutting machine and then kept my diecut in place as I ink blended using the stencils. I cut it with my paper trimmer and added it to a A2 card base. I added sequins and that was it. A super easy card. Both cards were really easy using these stencils. I hope you like them!

You Can Do It!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great week. I have had a busy week so far, meetings and my son being sick. My mom being in the hospital. On a positive note everyone is getting better. I have a cute and Tropical card to share with you today. I love Toucans and these ones are so cute!

I started coloring for the Dailymarker30day challenge Last night. I thought these cute birds were easy and so cute to color. They are called from Pretty Pink Posh called Tropical Toucans. I stamped them onto Neenah 80lb. cardstock with Oreo Ink from Taylored Expressions. I then colored them in with my Copic Markers and placed white accents with my Signo Pen. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

To make my background, I grabbed some white cardstock. I used my Simon Says Stamp’s New Large Ink Blending Brushes. These are Large brushes so I got my background ink blended fairly quickly. I used Distress Oxides inks in Ripe Persimmon and Kitsch Flamingo. I then layered a Tropical Leaves Background Stencil from Lawn Fawn. I used Distress Oxide inks in Bundled Sage and Antique Linen.

Next, I cut my ink blended cardstock out with a LDRS A2 stitched rectangle die. I decided to add some sparkle with some Hydracolour paints in Bubble gum, Pina Colada, Tangelo, and Sour Apple. I placed my panel in my Misti Stamping Platform and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Oreo ink. I then glued my images onto my panel with liquid glue. The Toucan on top near the tree is added with foam. My panel was then added to a A2 card base. Lastly, I added Doodlebug Jewels. I hope you enjoyed my card!

I first grabbed some white heavy weight cardstock 110lb. First I used the Mountain Edger 5 Stencils with Simon Hurley’s Dye Triple Berry ink. I ink blending in a slanted way moving from the middle to up on my paper. I love having the positive and negative stencils to work with. I then used the Simple Hill 3 Stencil with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink. Lastly, I used the Waves Stencil that is from a previous release. I used Catherine Poolers Cove Blue Dye ink.
