We Are Gazing At The Same Stars

Hello everyone! I have a fun light up card for you today using Bunny Moon from The Rabbit Hole Designs. I hope you are doing well and enjoying the weather. It is getting very hot where I live now weather 90’s and 100’s already!! Thankfully my AC is amazing, Okay well let’s get started.

Isn’t this bunny the cutest?? I love it!! I first ink blended my background. I used distress inks in Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, and Dusty Concord onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock using my blending brushes. When I was happy with my ink blending I flicked water droplets onto my panel and used a paper towel to absorb the rest of the water. I then used Hydracolour paints from Etsy in Chrome, and Bubble Gum. I then spritz some Picket Fence Distress Oxide ink. I really like how the the background turned out.

I stamped this cute Bunny onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock 80lb. with Jet Black ink from Lawn Fawn. I used my Misti to get a good crisp image. I then colored it in with my Copic Markers and fussy cut it out. Later I stamped the solid star in Seedless Preserves Distress ink and fussy cut it out as well as the “Press Me” star image that I copic colored and fussy cut out too. I then used a Sunny Studio Scalloped Circle die and a Stitched A2 rectangle die from waffle Flower Crafts and cut them at the same time in my Spellbinders Platinum 8.5.

Here is where I used The Rabbit Hole Designs Clear Foam Tape 5 MM and Pear Blossom Press Halo Lights to secure my lights. Yo just pull the red backing off of the clear tape. I like to use my non sticking scissors to help me. I did punch holes with a hole puncher on my card front so I knew where to adhere the Halo lights. I added foam to my A2 card base and then glued my secured card front to the foam. All my other images were glued on with Liquid glue.

And here is where you press the button and the magic happens.

Here is the sentiment that I stamped inside my card using Moon Bunny and a leftover scrap from my ink blended background. I hope you like my card it was so fun to make and I can’t help myself I keep pushing that “Press Me” button. I will be back soon with another project!

Where The Flowers Bloom So Does Hope!

Hi everyone!!! I hope you are doing well and enjoying the Spring Season. Spring is my favorite Season and it is starting to get really warm. Today I turned my stencil backgrounds into cards. You might have seen them on Instagram where I colored my ink blended stenciled backgrounds with my Prismacolor Colored Pencils. Channeling my inner Kathyrac from thedailymarker30day.

I really love to foil and The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System is so much fun and easy. I have talked to a few friends who have doubts getting a new foil system. I was too but I am so happy I took the risk and grabbed it during one of their sales. I have tried other systems, I do own some and The Glimmer System is just more satisfactory to me. It takes seconds once warmed up to get your results. Maybe Minutes not seconds but you catch my drift. LOL. On these cards I used the Pretty Pink Posh Spring Flowers Stencils Which is a 2 pack. I first used yellow 65lb. cardstock with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink for my greenery. I then used Kitsch Flamingo, Carved Pumpkin, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink with my Blending Brushes for my flowers. Here is where I was inspired from Kathyrac. She always uses colored pencils so I used my Prismacolor Colored pencils on my ink, I even drew in centers for some of those flowers with my white pencil.

I then cut out my backgrounds with The Greetery’s Crimped Rectangle dies. I used my Glimmer Hot Foil System for my sentiment. I used Yana’s Blooming Birthday Collection Floral Background Plates and dies with Polished Brass Glimmer Foil. I foiled the sentiment on yellow paper to match. I then used the die to cut out a backing three times with my Spellbinders Platinum 8.5 for each sentiment. I love the depth. I then grabbed some gold metallic thread and wound it up to place on my panel before adding the sentiment. I added foam from my stash and added it to the back of my panel before adding it to my card bases. I chose to do a portrait and landscape card with White and Kraft card bases.

I also added Gold sequins with On Point Glue to my cards and that finishes off my cards. I hope you like my foil cards I will be back to share with you some more that I created soon. Happy Crafting!

We Mermaid to be Friends!

Hello everyone! I have a fun and cute card to share with you today using some of my favorite TRHD products. I am on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog today.

Isn’t this Merbunny Cute? I love her. I used Harley-Merbunny Stamp Set and Harley Merbunny Die Set along with Splish Splash Stencil and the Spring Floral #2 Pattern Paper Pack for my A2 card. I first ink blended some cardstock 110lb. with Peacock Feathers, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink until I got the look I wanted with my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes. I then used the Splish Splash Stencil with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink over my inked panel. When it was dry I used some Pearl Pigment powder with water and flicked some drops onto my panel. That gave my background a lot of sparkle. I then cut out my panel with a large stitched tag die and then cut out some Spring #2 pattern paper with a double stitched rectangle die.

I stamped my Harley-Merbunny onto Sweet Sentiment cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink using my Misti. I then colored her in with my Copic Markers and diecut her out with the Harley-Merbunny Die Set. I added my inked tag and pattern paper to my A2 card base and then added my Merbunny. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set with Blue ink and cut it out with my paper trimmer. My sentiment and sequins were then added to complete my card. I hope you have enjoyed my card.

Floral Sprigs Stenciling and Foiled Cards

Hi everyone! I hope your having a great day. I have been having sooo much fun with my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System, and I have two cards to share with you today!

I first started out with Broken China Distress Oxide ink, white cardstock 110 lb., Blending Brush, and the Floral Sprigs Stencil from Scrapbook.com. I used two 8.5x 11 pieces of cardstock so that I had enough background to cover 2-3 cards. I really love this stencil and it was perfect for my cards today. I added some silver flicks of paint using my paint brush and water to match the Silver Foil. I used the Essential Duo Lines Glimmer Rectangles plates and Silver Glimmer Foil. Even though it looks gold in my photos it is really a nice silver. I then cut my rectangle panel with my paper trimmer. I then used Laurie Willison’s Effortless sentiments with the sliver glimmer foil onto light blue cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die. I also used the die to cut out two more diecuts to layer my sentiment for dimension. I added my panel to a A2 card base and my sentiment with liquid glue. Sympathy cards are so hard to make but I really love this one. I then added a hemp bow and different shades of blue sequins to match.

On this card I made a Mini Slimline card using the Mini Slimline Rectangle Wafer Dies from Simon Says Stamp. I then foiled the flower on blue cardstock from Yana Smakula’s Blooming Birthday Collection Glimmering Peony Glimmer Plate with Silver foil and then I fussy cut it out. I love this peony it’s so pretty. Next time I will color it but I love just seeing the foil on this card. It’s so beautiful. I then added a sentiment using the More Sentiments Glimmer plates on the same blue cardstock and foil using my paper trimmer to cut it out. My panel with then added with foam tape to a card base and I popped the Peony up with foam tape as well as the sentiment. Lots of dimension. I then added silver sequins to match. I hope you have enjoyed my cards.

Easter Wishes!

Hi everyone! I have a Easter Slimeline card to share with you today. I have a little process video if you would like to watch here: https://youtu.be/1LDZUqQ6Y3Q

Aren’t these bunnies cute?? I love them!! I used the Four Window Slimline Die from CC Designs and the stamp/Die set is called Easter Egg Hunt. I stamped them onto Sweet Sentiment cardstock with Jet Black ink from Lawn Fawn using my Misti. I colored them in with my Copic Markers. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I had to redo one bunny because it might have moved when I diecut it. Also I had some bleeding when using my blender marker. I just used my white signo pen to help clear that up.

I used the window slimline die and first cut it out with white cardstock but it looked too plain with my bunnies so I used a paper pack from my stash that had pink polka dot embossed paper. I glued the pink diecut over the white diecut using my liquid glue. The diecut from the Slimline die leaves you with four squares so I put them on purple tape and ink blended my clouds with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink using the MFT Mini Cloud Edges Slimline Stencil and my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes. On the rectangular piece I ink blended it using Peeled Paint distress oxide ink with MFT Grassy hills slimline stencil. I stamped my sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto my ink blended grass. I then added everything to my Slimline card base. I went a little crazy with Scrapbook’s Pops of Color in Pearl Soft Pink. I also added white gel accents to my bunnies. I hope you have enjoyed my card. I had a lot of fun making it.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Hello Everyone! I wanted to wish you a Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I hope you are wearing green today. I have a card to share with you using the New Clover Bunny Stamp Set and I am also on TRHD Blog today!

Isn’t this Clover Bunny cute? I adore this image. I chose use No Line Coloring technique which is really new for me and I need practice but this bunny doesn’t take much coloring so I tried that technique with this image. I first stamped the image with Gina K Designs Skeleton Leaves onto Neenah Solar White 80lb using my Misti. I colored the image in with Copic Markers and used the Clover Bunny Die set to cut my image out.

Sometimes in my stash I have extra scraps that are inked and so I had this ink blended grass scrap of paper that was die cut with a grass die and was ink blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide onto Sweet Sentiment cardstock. I also ink blended some clouds onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock 80lb using Broken China Distress Oxide ink, Clouds in My Coffee Stencil, and Cotton Tail Blending Brushes. I cut out my grass and clouds with a double stitched rectangle and layered them together. I used a A2 rectangle die with the Spring Floral #2 6×6 paper Pack. My sentiment was stamped onto a cloud scrap of paper with green ink that was cut to a banner with a die. Everything was glued with liquid glue to a A2 card base, except my bunny that is popped up with foam tape. Lastly, I added white gel accents with my white Signo pen and sequins to match. I hope you like my card, it was fun to make.

Cow Are You?

Hello everyone! I have a cute Slimline card to share with you today using a Digi Stamp from Kinda Cute By Patricia. It’s also a Birthday card. I am always in need of Birthday cards. Birthday cards might be my favorite to make!

Aren’t these cows Udderly Adorable? hehe. I thought how cute to make a Birthday card with these cows. This DIgi stamp is called Cow. I first printed them onto Georgia Pacific 110lb cardstock. I colored them in with my Altenew Artist Markers. I then fussy cut them out. You get three different cows but I just chose to color up two for this slimline card design.

I made my background using white cardstock and I first used the Big Balloon Stencil from MFT with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and a Cotton Tail Blending Brush. I then used a Cloud Stencil from MFT called Mini Cloud Edges with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I inked the Balloon string using the Balloon stencil and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink. I then used the Slimline Grassy Edges Stencil from MFT with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I very carefully used the balloon stencil and a cow print stencil also MFT which I believe is now retired with Gina K Designs White Pigment ink with a small blender brush. I had to do it a couple of times as it look a little chalky.

I used a Slimline Die set from Gina Marie Designs to cut my panel out. I added my cows popping one up with foam tape. I then stamped a sentiment using three sentiment stamps from Sunny Studio Stamps called Miss Moo that I stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I cut it out with my paper trimmer and then used my T-Square Ruler to place my sentiment straight with foam tape. My panel was then added to a black Slimline card base. I then added white gel accents with my white Signo pen and sequins. Can you believe I used four stencils for my card today? I hope you enjoyed my card, it was fun to make. Have a Great Crafty Day!

A Lawn Fawn Card: Bubbles of Joy

Hi my friends I am so excited about this card. I could not wait to make a card with these super cute mice from Lawn Fawn’s Bubbles of Joy stamp and die cuts! I have a process video over on my YouTube Channel here: https://youtu.be/zBv-e29M5tw I would love it if you subscribed!

So I made my background first using Bristol Smooth Cardstock that I cut down. I was going for a Grass and and sky scene. I used Fossilized Amber, Broken China, and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide inks with my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes. I then used the Bubble Stencil from Lawn Fawn with Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink and placed my bubbles all over. As for accent on the bubbles I used Gina K Designs Pigment White ink with a small make up brush. For my grass I used the MFT Slimline Grassy Edges. I dropped some drops of water on my panel to look like bubbles. I dried the excess with a paper towel.

I cut out my inky panel with Lawn Fawn’s Scalloped Slimline with Hearts Portrait Die. Using just the scalloped die. I then stamped my cute mice onto Neenah Solar White cardstock 80lb with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink using my Misti. I colored them in with my Altenew Artist Markers and then used the Bubbles of Joy Dies to cut them out. I cut out a slimline card base and glued my scalloped panel onto it. I glued my mice and made room to stamp my sentiments. I used my Misti and stamped and heat embossed the first sentiment with Versafine black ink and Hero Arts Clear embossing powder. My second sentiment was stamped and heat embossed onto a Lawn Fawn Fancy Wavy Banner die with Bristol Smooth cardstock. I just inked up the edges with my Broken China blending brush.

Lastly, to embellish my card I used On Point Glue with Studio Katia round drops and Sparkle from my Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter pen. I hope you like my card. I had a lot of fun making it.

A Happy Easter Card!

Hi everyone! I’m on TRHD blog today. I am so happy to share this card with you today using the newest products from the latest release!

I used the Corner Mandala Stencil and 1 Line Happy Easter Stamp Set for my card today. I first started out with Neenah 80lb Desert Storm cardstock. I laid my stencil down and ink blended first using Cracked Pistachio, Ground Expresso, Hickory Smoke, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide inks with my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes. When it was dry I splattered green and gold metallic watercolors on my panel. I cut out my panel with a stitched A2 die. I turned my panel around, I liked this version better than the way I first intended to use this panel .

I then heat embossed my bunny with Versafine ink and clear embossing powder onto some Neenah 80lb cardstock. I colored the bunny in with some Prismacolor Colored Pencils and fussy cut it out. I cut out a circle with some of the cardstock I had left over from my ink blending. I glued my panel onto a A2 heavy weight card base with liquid glue and added my circle and bunny. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the 1 Line Happy Easter stamp set onto a banner diecut. I then added it onto my card front. Lastly, I added sequins, white gel accents, and a twine bow. I hope you like my card. Thank you for stopping by!

I Like You (A Lotl)

Hi my friends! Happy Heart Day/Happy Valentine’s Day! Yay I love this holiday. It is also my moms Birthday so it has always been a special day for me growing up! I have a cute card to share with you using Lawn Fawn. I also have a YouTube Process Video of the second card I made. You can watch here:https://youtu.be/zWtcC4pOr18

Isn’t this little guy cute? I used the I Like You(A Lotl), Scripty Be, Scripty Mine, Conversation Heart Stencils. I first cut out some Neenah Solar White cardstock and placed the solid hearts stencil down using magnets from my Make Art mat. I then used the stencil with Lawn Fawn Grape Jelly, and Minty Fresh Dye ink. I went diagonally across my panel with my inks using my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes. I then used the other stencil with the words using Dusty Concord and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide inks. I then cut it out with a Lawn Fawn stitched A2 rectangle die. I stamped the image with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink onto Sweet Sentiment carstock and colored him in and seaweed and bubbles with my Copic Markers. I then fussy cut my images out. I cut out the Scripty Dies with some holographic thick cardboard. I believe it came from my daughter’s doll packaging from Christmas. I wish I had more of it. So I used Chipboard and silver glittered paper for my second card. I added my panel to a A2 card base. I then added my image with foam squares and added my bubbles and heart. Lastly, I added sequins and sparkle. I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by!

Here is the inside of cards. I stamped my images and sentiment with the same inks I used on my card panel. I hope you like them. Thanks for stopping by!

Pops of color Ink blended cards

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a couple of cards using dies and ink blending. No stamping this time! Well maybe just a sentiment!

So I have been having fun ink blending my backgrounds. And I think I am just loving color. The Winter colors aren’t what I am feeling right now. is that the case for you too? On this Birthday Card I used Abandoned Coral, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks along with my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes from TRHD. I used Stamps of Life Dies. I used the Heart Background die for my rectangle A2 panel, Doily 1, and the Birthday Hugs Die. I added my panel to a A2 card base heavy weight and added enamel dots.

On this card I used the rectangle and the heart die from the Heart Background die. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Hickory Smoke, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks. My sentiment is from CC Designs Cupid Swissie that I stamped with Versafine ink and clear embossing powder. I added my panel to a A2 heavyweight card base and added some hearts from the cutout for decoration. I hope you like my cards, thank you for stopping by!
