A Pet Sympathy card

Hello my Friends! I hope you are doing well. Today I have a card I don’t enjoy making. I made this card for a crafty friend who lost her fur baby recently. It always breaks my heart when someone looses a fur baby. I have been a fur mom for about 10 yrs. Her name is Jules and she is so spoiled let me tell you. Lately, she has enjoyed her blankie and her lounge bed. I envy her sometimes laying around all day LOL.

So I started out with some Arteza Cardstock 110lb. I recently won some Brea Reese Water-Based Markers so this was a perfect time to try them out. I went for a rainbow since they say when a pet passes they cross over the Rainbow Bridge. I used each marker scribbling over my cardstock and then I used a water brush to try and blend out the color.

When it was dry I cut out my water colored panel with a scalloped A2 rectangle from Honeybee Stamps. I then used a brand new stamp from my stash called from Cas-ual Friday Stamps called Rainbow Bridge Stamps. I have had this stamp in my stash just in case I needed it. I stamped and heat embossed the Rainbow and sentiment with Versafine Black ink and Hero Arts Clear embossing powder using my Misti. I then glued my panel to a A2 card base using liquid glue. I embellish I added a twine bow and sequins.

And here is the inside using another sentiment from the Rainbow Bridge Stamps stamp set that I stamped and heat embossed.

And here is my Spoiled Big Baby Jules, love her so much!!

Gold Corner Mandala Card and Matching Tag!

Hi everyone! I have a Card and matching Tag to share with you today using the New Corner Mandala Stencil from the latest TRHD Release.

I first started out with a Gold heavyweight piece of cardstock. I placed the Corner Mandala Stencil down on my cardstock and then used some Nuvo Golden Era Glacier Paste and a spatula over my stencil and cardstock. When it was dry I cut it out with a decorative torn die. I layered it onto kraft cardstock and glued it onto a sparkly A2 gold card base. I then stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from the Turtle Botanical stamp set with Versamark and Ranger Gold embossing powder. I then cut it out with a banner die and glued it onto my card front. I then added gold sequins to decorate my card.

I had leftover cardstock from using the gold paste so I made a matching tag. I cut it out with a pierced tag die and added some cream colored seam binding ribbon with a large flower embellishment. I chose to leave it blank since I wanted to show off the beautiful Corner Mandala Stencil. I hope you like my card and tag set. Thank you for stopping by!

All Things Grow With Love!

Hi everyone! I wanted to share with you a New challenge for Not2Shabby Digital stamps. You are to use three digital stamps and some type of embossing. It could be wet or dry embossing.

This is a fun challenge. An example can be a donut, brownie, and a cofee. I chose to use Farmers Market, Sleeping Fox, and Better with a friend for my three images. I printed these images onto Neenah cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers. I added some white gel accents to my images with a white gel pen. I was going for a Fall Theme when I picked these images. I’m getting tired of the HOT days. I then fussy cut all my images out. There is a sentiment that comes with Better with a friend but I cut around it to use a different sentiment. As for my embossing, I used a Quilted Picnic Embossing folder from LDRS onto a white stitched A2 rectangle diecut.
I then glued my embossing panel onto my A2 card base and added my images with foam tape except the Sleeping Fox image. I stamped my sentiment that is from a MFT stamp set with Versafine Clair Golden Meadow Pigment onto a stitched banner from Sunny Studio and applied it with foam tape. Lastly, I added some orange irridescent confetti that looks pink in the light and a Doodlebug Heart Sprinkle. I hope you like my card. You can join the challenge too using Not2shabbydigital stamps. Use the hashtag #not2shabbydigichallenge to post on instagram. You can post in the Scrapin Stampers group too . I can’t wait to see what you make. Thank you for stopping by!
