BYSH Cardmakers Sketch 29

Hello everyone, I’m back with another BYSH Cardmakers Sketch 29 Project. I hope you love this sketch challenge as much as I do. It’s a great way to use up some of that pattern paper that we end up saving.

Isn’t this Santa cute? I had to use him for this card. This Santa die is a Spellbinders die that I have had for a while now. He was easy to put together. I first cut out my pattern papers from LDRS City Sidewalks Paper Pad 6×6. I use a ruler and my paper trimmer to help me with the sizing for the sketch. I also used a circle die to cut out my circle for the center focal point.

I also copic colored Santa’s skin and beard. Lastly, I added some white gel accents with my Gelly Roll pen. I glued my pattern papers together onto a gray A2 card base. I then glued my Santa. I didn’t add any embellishments or a sentiment to this card, I liked it without. I also loved the pattern paper to much to cover it up. I hope you like my card and participate in the challenge. The challenge ends on January 31, 2023. Must add in the FB album to be eligible to win a prize.

Thank you for stopping by!

I stamped outfits from Aloha and Live Love Grow. I colored in the pants from Aloha using my Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I fussy cut them out and colored in the shirt and belt from Live Love Grow with my colored pencils. I fussy cut them out and glued both to the pants. I cut Abigail out with the Sweet Cuts Die and glued her outfit on. I stamped some flip flops on to her feet from the Aloha stamp set. I then stamped the flower pot and watering can. I Colored them in with my pencils and fussy cut them out.

I cut out 2 panels one A2 size and one smaller than A2. I used the smaller panel to ink blend a sky and greenery. I stamped my sentiment from Live Love Grow stamp set with black ink onto my panel. I added foam tape to Abigail and her watering can before adhering her to my panel and glued my flower pot with liquid glue. I thought my card needed something else, so I used my favorite cloud die from the Vacation Sweet Cuts with white cardstock. I then glued my panels to a A2 card base. I hope you like my card today. I’m Thankful For You!

Hey everyone! I hope you are doing great today. I have a Fall card today for the current Inky Paws Challenge #181 by Newton’s Nook Designs which is Fall Theme. I will have supplies listed that are still available down below for you!

I first started out with white cardstock and the purr-fect Autumn Leaves Die set. I cut out a bunch of leaves and acorns and began inking them up. I used inks Flame. Martini, and Icing On The Cake by Catherine Pooler. On some leaves I used 2 ink colors. The daubers I used seem to make them look so real. I then put them aside and began working on my background. I grabbed some white cardstock and ink blended it with Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide ink, Fossilized Distress Oxide ink, and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink. I flicked some water droplets and dried the excess with a paper towel. I then flickered some Distress Mica Distress Spray Stain in Crooked Broomstick. I them cut out my panel with a Scalloped Rectangle A2 die from my stash.

I stamped and heat embossed this cute Fox from the Woodland Spring with WOW Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder onto white cardstock. I colored it with Copic Markers and fussy cut it out. I also stamped and heat embossed a sentiment to go with my card. I cut down my sentiment with a paper trimmer. Next, I arranged my leaves and image. My image and sentiment, acorns have foam tape added to the back before being adhered to my panel. I arranged my leaves to ahave some with foam tape and other glued with liquid glue. Lastly, I added some orange sequins and added my panel to a A2 card base. I hope you like my card using Newton’s Nook Designs. I had a blast making it!

You’re Flamazing!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing great. I have a Flamingo card today. Mini Slimline and I hope you like it! I will have supplies listed down below for you! My motivation for this card were these Flamingos I recently seen at the Las Vegas Flamingo Hotel. They were very thirsty, it was so really HOT that day.

I started out using a gel press print that I had made previously. I used a Monstera Mini Slimline die from Trinity Stamps to cut out using my Gel Press print. I think it looks very tropical. I used a Flamingo die from Scrappy Tails Crafts. I cut out all the pieces with white cardstock. I ink blended using a Bubblegum and Guava ink from Simon Says Stamp. I added foam tape to my feathers before adhering them. I ink blended the nose or beak with black ink.

I used a fun sentiment from Taylored Expressions that I stamped in Bubblegum ink on white cardstock. I cut it out with a paper trimmer to fit my Mini Slimline panel. I glued my panel to a white Mini Slimline card base. I then added my flamingo and sentiment with liquid glue. I added some sequins and clear glaze and that finishes my card. I hope you like it.

Lindy’s Gang February Challenge-Encouraging Card

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing great. With all the craziness in the world right now I’m keeping my mind busy with challenges. I wanted to enter this challenge for Lindy’s February Challenge and I barely made it by a thread. The challenge is to include at least 2 products from Lindy’s Gang and use colors shown on pic down below. I will have products down below for you. Here is where you can find more info about the challenge here

So I am a newbie to Lindy’s Gang and so I have been collecting some magical sprays and powders. This is stepping out of my comfort zone and like I said I am a newbie so I hope to get better at Mixed Media and Grunge. The first thing I did was grab some white cardstock from. I used the Spellbinders February of the Month Embossing Folder Sketched Floral and ran it through my Spellbinders Limited Edition Platinum SIX die-cutting machine using the appropriate sandwich stack. I then sprayed Starburst Sprays Martian Magenta and Outer Space Aqua from the Outer Space Shimmer Spray Set. I let it dry and began working on my elements.

I die-cut the Cosmos Bloom flower from Simon Says Stamp in black and white cardstock from Let’s Connect Collection. With White cardstock 2 times. I sprayed the 2 white flowers with the same sprays and let them dry. I cut my embossing panel down using my paper trimmer. I grabbed a stamp block and some black ink and got some ink onto my panel to make my panel grungy looking. I also grunge my flowers too.

I thought I would use Gina K Designs Master Layout 7 for my circles and label that I cut out in white and black cardstock. I sprayed my label with the Aqua Spray and added black ink to match. I did add some spray from the Martian Magenta on my black circles.

I felt like something was still missing so I added some Glitz Glitter Gel Amethyst onto my panel, flower, and label. I used a old wooden lace stamp from my stash and added versamark ink to it and then I added some Lindy’s Gang Desert Moon Turquoise Embossing Powder to my embossed panel and to a flower.

I glued my embossed panel to a black foam rectangle and then glued it to a A2 black card base. My flowers and circles were adhered with foam and liquid glue. I glued my label with liquid glue and I added a pre printed sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Encouraging Words Strips that was cut and added with black foam. Lastly, I added some sequins from my stash. I hope you like my card, it was so much fun to make and I hope to enter next month’s Challenge..hopefully not at the last minute next time. Thank you to my friend Natasha Vacca for the inspiration.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek!

Stinkin’ Sweet

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well I have some cute Valentine cards today using Lawn Fawn to share with you. I will have supplies listed down below. Let’s get started!

I made 2 Mini Slimline cards. I had to use this cute Skunk from Tiny Gift Box Skunk Add On for my Mini Slimline cards. This is suppose to be for a box which I have but I just wanted to make some cards with it. I cut out my skunk with white cardstock and black cardstock from Lawn Fawn. I also used a gray Copic Marker to color the face of the Skunk to get a contrast from the face and body. I added some white gel accents onto my skunk. I cut out the Giant XOXO die with white cardstock. I layered the diecut on 2 more other diecuts to give it some depth. I cut it because I knew I was going to make Mini Slimline cards.

I stamped a sentiment with Catherine Pooler ink Royal Treatment. I ink blended some purple cardstock using 2 different purple inks from Catherine Pooler Royal Treatment and Sugared Lavender ink and the Stencil. I cut out my panel using the largest rectangle die. I added my skunk and XOXO to my Mini Slimline card panel. My panel was then added to a Mini Slimline Card Base. I finishes it off with some clear sequins.

On this card I did the same details only I added a different word die. I hope you like them.

I thought it would be fun to make a A2 card using this cutie. I cut out my skunk and put it together. I ink blended the black cardstock using the stencils with Gina K Designs White pigment ink. I dried it with my heat tool because I couldn’t wait to put this card together. It looks grayish but I still like how it looks it matches my skunk. I cut out a scalloped circle and colored in some sky and grass for my skunk.

I stamped my sentiment using the freebie Celebrate Hearts stamp set and added it with foam tape. I cut my panel out with a stitched rectangle die and added my panel onto a A2 card base. I added some sequins and that finishes off this card. They were so much fun to make. I can’t wait to send them out. I will be back soon with another project.

Thankful For You

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I made some Fall cards using Spellbinders Dies and a Embossing folder I guess you would say I used non traditional colors. I made 2 A2 cards and I had leftovers diecuts for a Slimline Card. No Stamping on these cards. I really like how they came out, let me show you!

I first used a Paper pack of cardstock 65lb from Michaels Recollections. The name of the pack is called Boutique Floral, and you get these colors featured. I just didn’t use the pink cardstock. With this cardstock I used the Spellbinders Autumn Leaves Die Set. I cut all 9 Leaves out using the 4 colors of cardstock. I then sprayed them with Tim Holtz Antique Bronze Distress Mica Spray. I then put them aside to dry.

On this Slimline Card I cut out some white cardstock using the Spellbinders Moroccan Kaleidoscope Slimline Die. I inkblended it using Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink and a blending brush. I also layered it on another piece of cardstock inkblended with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink. I also sprayed some more Mica Spray Stain on it to match. I added my Slimline panel to a Slimline Card base and arranged my Autumn Leaves and added hem with foam squares. The word die is from Simon Says Stamp that I cut out in coordinating cardstock and also added with foam squares. Gold Pearl embellishments were added to complete my card.

On my A2 cards I chose to use the Beautiful Spellbinders Falling Leaves Embossing Folder. I ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum Machine with white cardstock. I also ink blended with Distress Oxide ink in Antique Linen. I rearranged my leaves adding them with foam squares. This is another word die from the same die set from Simon Says Stamp using the coordinating paper pack. Adding the same Gold Pearl embellishments.

And here is my final card. I tried to make a wreath look on this one. As you can see in this photo I have more leaves leftover for another card, I love that. I hope you enjoyed my Fall Cards. I had so much fun making them.

You’re A Great Friend!

Hi everyone! Today I have a project for the Pinkfresh Studio July Challenge-Butterflies. I had so much fun making this project for the challenge. Here is what I made:

I started out using the Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate onto Heavy Weight cardstock 110lb. with Aura Foil using my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil system. I then used the coordinating Stencils going in order. The stencils have numbers on them. I first started with Passion Fruit, Persimmon, Clementine, and then Espresso Dye ink. I used smaller blending brushes to achieve a clean and efficient look.

Next, I cut out the butterflies with the coordinating dies. I love that Pinkfresh Studio has full complete sets like this. I inked up the Diamond Tiles Background Cling Stamp with Passion Fruit using my Misti and white cardstock. I then cut it out using the largest rectangle from the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles. I cut out some white cardstock using The largest die from the Ornate Banner set.

I began putting my card together. I added foam strips to the back of the Ornate Banner die before adding it to the Diamond Tiles Background. I then added the panel to a Kraft side folding A2 card base. I popped up two butterflies with foam and added some ephemera from Happy Blooms. I then semi popped up my sentiment that was foiled previously from Perfect Sentiments and cut out with the coordinating dies. Foiled in Glimmer Gold Foil using My Spellbinders Hot Foil Glimmer System. Lastly, I added some Lavender Jewels with my Pick Up Stick using On Point Glue. I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Thanks for taking a peek!

4th Of July card featuring Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone! I made a card, a 4th of July card and I even have a video. You can watch it here or on my YouTube Channel Vonmariedesign.

I adore these critters from Lawn Fawn and I knew I had to make a card with them because the Newest Release is already available. and I can’t wait to get those items in my hands. I needed to make a 4th of July card since I have this fun Firework stencil from Pretty Pink Posh. I sprayed my cardstock with Pixie spray and used Stormy Sky and Campfire Wilderness for my Distress Oxide ink color using blending tools from Taylored Expressions. I really like the end results. Next I stamped these critters from Happy Hugs onto my cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink. I colored them in with my Copic Markers and then used the Happy Hugs die to cut them using my Spellbinders Platinum Machine. I was looking for a scalloped circle but came across this die that did the stitching of a scalloped circle. I thought that was neat and I didn’t have to cover up my background. I then used the smallest star because that too gave just the stitching marks.

I cut my panel slightly smaller than a A2 panel using my paper trimmer. I stamped my sentiment in Stormy Sky distress ink and cut it out with a banner die. I added foam strips to my image and sentiment and added them to my panel. My panel was then added to a A2 top folding card base. I then used Confetti stars from my stash and Sapphire Jewels from Pinkfresh Studio. I hope you enjoyed my video and card process. It was so much fun. I also will be linking this card to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Red/White and/ or Blue.

Thank you for stopping by!
