Hoppy Halloween-Inky Paws Challenge #180

Hi everyone! I hope your doing great today. I have a fun Halloween card and I chose to participate in the Newtons Nook Inky Paws Challenge #180-Sketch Challenge. I will have supplies listed below for you!

Here is the card I made using the Inky Paws Challenge #180-Sketch:

It’s been so long since I joined the Inky Paws Challenge and it was definitely time. I love the sketch. I first started out looking through my stash and I found this cute Halloween Stamp called Hoppy Halloween which is a retired stamp set. It is a older stamp but still one of my favorites. I started out with some Neenah Solar White 80lb. Cardstock. I stamped and heat embossed the image with Versafine Black Onyx ink and Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder. I colored the image in with my Copic Markers and fussy cut it out.

I made my background using white cardstock with Catherine Pooler Grape Crush and Glam ink using Blending Brushes. I flicked some water droplets and dried the excess with a paper towel. I then used the Flying Bats Stencil with a Black ink refill and Tim Holtz Distress Grit Paste Snowfall. I applied the paste using a spatula. As it was drying I spritz some Lindy’s Gang Violaceous Violet and let it dry some more. I cut it out with a A2 Stitched Rectangle die. I used a oval die with white cardstock that I ink blended with Simon Says Stamp Twilight ink. I flicked water droplets and dried the excess with a paper towel. I then used a grass die with black cardstock and green cardstock. I ink blended the green cardstock a little with Catherine Pooler Martini ink. I spritz some Lindy’s Gang in Steel Shimmer Spray to darken it a little and add shimmer. I cut my grass borders with the same oval die.

I thought my card needed something else, so I used the Gingham Stencil with the same purple inks Glam and Grape Crush on white cardstock. I ink blended it a little more to match my flying bats background. Next, it was time to put my card together. I glued my stenciled background panels together onto a A2 card base, adding a black cardstock strip to separate them, trying to copy the sketch. I added foam tape to my grass layers, bunny image, and oval die-cut. I stamped and heat embossed this cute sentiment with Clear Embossing ink and Wow Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder on Black cardstock. I cut my sentiment down to fit onto my card front and added it with foam tape. Lastly, I added white gel accents with my Gelly Roll Pen and black sequins. I hope you like my card, I had so much fun making it.

Thank you for stopping by!
