Paper Sweeties August 2022 Release!

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have another Sneak Peek for you using New Products from Paper Sweeties August 2022 Release. It’s also Paper Sweeties 10th Anniversary, so very exciting! I will have a Video, and supplies listed down below for you!

Well I really wanted to use this beautiful Flamingo this time. So I stamped the Flamingo and the wing from the New Vacation Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black ink. I colored them in with my Copic Markers. Next, I cut them out with the Vacation Sweet Cuts. I added the wing with a little bit of foam tape. I also used a pink Prismacolor Colored Pencil for the shadows. I was going to make a tag well I kinda did. I cut out the Sweet Cuts Tag with some white cardstock. I ink blended it with a blue, pink, and peach colored ink for a fun sunset water background. I used the waves stamped image from the New Another Day in Paradise to stamp in Uncharted Mariner Distress ink onto my tag.

I cut out some kraft cardstock and ink blended it with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink. I stamped the waves in Uncharted Mariner Distress ink to make a full and fun background. I stamped my sentiment onto my tag with Uncharted Mariner Distress ink. I glued my Flamingo to my tag. I then added some clouds from Another Day in Paradise, one with foam and the other 2 with liquid glue. I added my tag with foam tape and and added my panel to a A2 card base. I used a black Gelly Roll pen for the eye, feet, and nose of the Flamingo. I flickered some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink Spray and Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain to my card carefully without getting my Flamingo. That finishes my card I hope you like it! Visit the Paper Sweeties Blog and leave a comment for a chance to win $100. I will be back with another project using these New Products.

I’ve Found A True Friend….

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing great today. I have a cute card to share with you using A Colorful Life Designs Newest August 2022 Release. I will have details and a coupon code for you down below!

I used the New Cat Love 6×9 Stencil for my mini slimline card today. Are you a cat lover? Then you need this stencil. I had to use this cute stamp from The Greeting Farm with it. I started out with Hammermill cardstock and placed my stencil over my cardstock and in blended with Lawn Fawn Hippo ink. I then inked op the kitties feet with black ink. The image is from The Greeting Farm True Friend that I stamped in alcohol friendly ink and cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut. I colored it in with my copic markers.

I cut out my Cat Love Background with a Mini Slimline Nesting Deckle die from Hello Bluebird. I added it to a Mini Slimline card base. I added my image with foam tape. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with a paper trimmer before adding it with foam tape. Lastly, I added some Heart Sprinkles. I hope you like my card. Hello Bluebird Nesting Deckle Die

A Colorful Life Designs August 2022 Release

Hello. Happy August. I hope you are doing well. I’m super excited for the New Release today. 16 NEW Designs. So much fun! I have a few cards to share using the New Lover Boy Stencil and Furry Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs August 2022 Release. I will have supplies, a video, and a coupon down below for you!

Here is the first card I made. I think these dogs are so cute from the New Lover Boy Stencil. I ink blended using Gina K Designs Honey Mustard ink on Hammermill cardstock. When I was done ink blending, I flickered some gold paint using Starry Colors from Gansai Tambi. I cut my cardstock to be A2 size. I added it to a A2 card base. I stamped my Taylored Expressions Woof sentiments onto kraft cardstock and cut them out with the coordinating die. I added 2 strips with foam strips to my card front. I added sequins to match, super easy.

On this card I ink blended the dogs with black ink on Hammermill cardstock. I just wanted to do a border of them for a different look. I chose to color their bows and hearts with Copic markers. I used the New Furry Stencil for my sentiment using black ink. I cut out my cardstock to be A2 size and added it to a A2 card base. I inked around the edges with my blending brush. I added some heart enamel stickers to finish this card.

I chose to make another card just because I love this stencil. I ink blended on Hammermill cardstock with Aspen, Espresso, and Sunshine ink. I alternated my inks to have all 3 shown. I love this color combo, not my typical combo. I flickered some metallic paint splatters using LHColors in Gold and Limeade over my panel for a fun look.

I cut my cardstock with a Taylored Expressions Die. It was bigger than an A2 panel so I placed my die over it to cut it to the right size. I glued my panel to a A2 card base. I then added a white heat embossed sentiment strip from Taylored Expressions Woof Stamp and added it with foam tape. I then placed some sequins from Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends in Sunflower. That finishes my cards. I hope you like them.

Hamster Birthday Cards

Hi everyone! I have some fun Hamster Birthday Cards to share with you using Mama Elephant Celebration Hamsters and A Colorful Life Designs Layered Party and Balloons Stencils. I will have supplies listed and a coupon code down below for you!

I first stamped all my images out onto Neenah Solar White cardstock 80lb. with Honey Bee Stamps Black ink. I used my Misti to stamp multiple images. I colored them in with my Copic markers, I wanted them to look soft and I hope I achieved that look. I then cut my images out with the coordinating dies and fussy cut the groups of stars and hearts. I used the Balloons Stencil on a whole sheet of Hammermill cardstock from A Colorful Life Designs. I ink blended with Rose Water and Macaron ink to match my Hamsters. I flickered some Metallic paint over my ink blended panels for fun. I would position my stencil so that I could easily make 2 Slimline cards with it. I used inks Rose Water, Macaron, and Dried Fig inks with Pinkfresh Studio Brushed sentiments Stamp and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I used a Scallop Slimline die from Stamps Of Life to cut out my ink blended panels. I then glued everything onto Slimline Card bases.

On this card I ink blended some Hammermill cardstock using the layered Stars and Hearts Stencils from A Colorful Life Designs. My favorite stencils. I ink blended with Taylored Expressions Rose Water, Macaron, and Banana Cream Pie inks. I also flickered some Subtle Metallic paint onto my panel. I thought the stencils matched the groups of hearts and stars images from the stamp set. I used a A2 stitched rectangle die to cut my ink blended cardstock and glued everything to a A2 card base. I stamped a sentiment with black ink on white cardstock and cut it out with my trimmer.

I hope you like my Hamster Birthday Cards. They were so much fun to make and I loved the stencils I used with them. Use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase at A Colorful Life Designs. Be Creative

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I’m so excited to be Guest Designing this month and next month for Doodles Paper Playground. I love their Sparkle Blends. I will have supplies listed down below for you.

I wanted to make a shaker card because the Sparkle Blends are so much fun to work with. This one that I used is called I Love The 80’s. So fun. I’m an 80’s Baby Yay. I first used Hammermill cardstock and ink blended the Paint Splatter Background Stencil from Lawn Fawn using Catherine Pooler ink Pucker Up, Catherine Pooler ink Orange Twist, Lawn Fawn ink Freshly Cut Grass, Gina K Designs Electro Pop Neon Ink Blaring Blue, and Pinkfresh Studio ink Sunshine Chiffon. I cut out my panel with a A2 Stitched Rectangle die.

I cut out the Canvas and Easel and Art Supplies dies using white cardstock. I ink blended them to match. I used the large Paint Splatter die to make my shaker window with the Canvas Die-cut. I also used a sparkle stamp image from the Just Add Glitter stamp set using Pucker Up ink. I layered my shaker window with packaged Acetate and foam. Next, I placed my Sparkle Blend I Love the 80’s into my shaker and sealed it up using my Sparkle image background. I glued it to my easel. I glued everything to a A2 card base. I had this fox colored and ready in my stash from Butterfly Kisses Flip Flop Stamp and Die Set. I just popped up my critter and added a few Sparkle Blends sequins to my card. My sentiments were stamped with black and Pucker Up ink from the Just Add Glitter stamp. That finishes up my card, I hope you like it. I have another project coming up this week using more sparkle Blends. Check out the Sparkle Blends here

Hello everyone! Welcome to Paper Sweeties July 2022 Sneak Peeks. We have a New Stamp Set to feature called Summer Vibes. I will have a video, Blog Hop Line Up, and Supplies listed down below.

Here is what I made using the New Summer Vibes Stamp Set

I first started out with this cute coffee image that I stamped in black ink on alcohol friendly paper and colored it in with my Copic Markers. My pattern paper from Doodlebugs My Happy Place helped me plan out my color scheme. Next, I used the Sweet Cuts to cut out the coffee cup and steam. I love the steam, so cute. I used the scallop square sweet cuts with pattern paper and white cardstock. I just copic colored it pink to match.

My background coffee paper is cut slightly smaller than a A2 size rectangle. I used the Sweet Cuts Sweet Borders for 2 different borders. I really love the hearts border, I cut it out with more pattern paper. I stamped my sentiment from the New Summer Vibes stamp set onto white cardstock and used a stitched banner for that. I popped up my sentiment and coffee with foam tape. Lastly, I added a flower Cupcake Sprinkle to the center of my coffee and more hearts. I hope you like my card.

Make Today Amazing!

Hello everyone!! I hope you are doing well, hopefully today is Amazing for you. I have a card using this gorgeous Mermaid from the current My Monthly Hero Kit. I will have supplies listed down below for you!

I love this mermaid from the kit and I could not wait to color her up. I stamped her onto white heavy weight cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored her with my Copic Markers. I wanted a fun card so I gave her purple hair. After all mermaids are magical right? I colored her with BG Markers and V Markers. I love her fin, it’s beautiful. I cut her out with the coordinating dies. I colored up a Jellyfish and some seaweed but they didn’t fit my design for this panel so next time I will use those.

I made my background using white cardstock and the Shimmering Sea Foil Plate from Trinity Stamps. I used Glimmer Cobalt blue Foil and my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foiling System. I love foil. I then ink blended with Lawn Fawn Moonstone Dye ink and Catherine Pooler Cummerbund dye ink. I cut out my background using Hero Arts Nested Rectangles using second to the largest die.

I placed my panel into my Misti Stamping Platform and stamped a sentiment from Tim Holtz Noteworthy using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I added my mermaid with foam tape and added some clear bubbles from Doodles Paper Playground. My panel was then added to my A2 card base with liquid glue. I added some clear glaze and that finishes off this magical card. I hope like it. I will be linking it to the Hero Arts Stay Crafty with a Bog Named Hero June Challenge-By The Sea.

I colored her in with Copic Markers and fussy cut her and the outfit out. I made my background using white cardstock cut to a A2 size and 2 different Distress inks Prize Ribbon and Chipped Sapphire Oxide ink. I ink blended my cardstock and grabbed a scrap of cardstock to help with my design. I chose to do something unplanned and fun since I love stripes. My stripes are not even and that makes me like it even more. I sprayed some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Spray for fun. I am loving all the blues.

I used Sweet Cuts Circle Scalloped Frames with white cardstock. I also used Sweet Cuts Sweet Hello with white cardstock cut out a few times and Holographic cardstock.
