Level Up Birthday Card!

Hi everyone! I have a Special Birthday Card to share with you and it’s another light up card using EZ Lights from Pear Blossom Press.

Today is my Son’s Birthday he is 7. He has been so excited counting down everyday. And he should right?? He has been so excited with my light up cards that I thought I am going to make him one. So I used MFT’s Game Controller Die-Namics. It’s a great die and I have a few gamers in my family. I copic colored some Neenah Solar White cardstock for the buttons on the controller before running the dies through my Spellbinders Platinum Machine. I used heavy weight black cardstock for the controller and diecut it two times for dimension.

I then stamped and heat embossed this cute boy image from The Greeting Farm’s Gamer Couple. I had used the girl previously for my daughter so I was happy to used this boy for my son. I copic colored him and matched his clothes to my sons clothes. I then fussy cut him out. I made the background stamping the small icon images from the stamp set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink using my Misti. I colored those images with copic markers too. I added my EZ Lights to the back of my background panel. I used a small hole puncher to have my lights show through. I use scotch tape to secure my wires into place. I then added Clear Foam Tape 5MM to the ends so that my power button would not be noticeable at all. I then cut my background to layer on a 4.25 x 5.5 black cardstock and then glued them to my A2 card base. The boy and controller were glued with liquid glue.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the same Gamer Couple stamp set onto Pear Blossom Press’s Black sentiment cardstock with Versamark and WOW Bright White Opaque embossing powder. I cut them down with my paper trimmer. The “Press Here” sentiment is from MFT Interactve Labels that I heat embossed and cut out with a circle die from Waffle Flower Crafts. I hope you like my card, it was a lot of fun to make and I know my son will love it!!

A Note To Say Hello!

Hello everyone! I have a card to share with you today using a Kinda Cute My Patricia Digital Stamp. It’s kind of a newer Digi and I knew when I saw it I wanted to use it. Let’s get started!

It’s a Beautiful floral stamp and I love it so much. It’s called Flower Bouquet. I first downloaded and printed it in my designing App onto Georgia Pacific 110lb cardstock and then I colored it in with my Copic Markers. I fussy cut it out and put it aside to work on my background.

To make my background I used white cardstock 80lb with Honeybee Stamps Watercolor Lines Stencils with Kitsch Flamingo and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide inks using blending brushes. When it was dry I cut it out with a stitched rectangle die from waffle flower crafts. I added my background panel to a A2 card base and then added my flower bouquet with Clear Foam tape. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment with Versamark ink and WOW White Opaque Bright White embossing powder using Taylored Expressions Mini strips-Fun and Funny Stamp Set and coordinating Asymmetrical Die set on black cardstock 80lb. I added the sentiment strip with Clear foam tape from TRHD and also attached it to my flower bouquet. I then added some Providence sequins from Catherine Pooler. That finishes my card, I hope you enjoyed it. I will be back soon with another project, Happy Crafting!

Wishing You an Unforgettable Day!

Hi everyone! I have a fun Slimline card today using an adorable digi stamp from Kinda Cute By Patricia. Also don’t forget about the April Coloring Challenge, there is a album in the Kinda Cute By Patricia FB group for you to place your project in..

Aren’t these guys cute?? I love them so much. This stamp set is called Hot Balloon and Animals. You get four critters to use with the hot air balloon. It’s one of my favorites and Patricia said it was one of my ideas so I love it even more. When designing in my program on my computer I chose to place them in the baskets and print them that way. It’s a lot easier for me to do it that way. I then colored them in with my Copic Markers and I used my Prisma Colored pencils for the nooks and crannies. I then fussy cut them out.

I used the Catherine Pooler Slimline Die On the Rocks with Navy Blue Cardstock that I glued onto my Slimline card base. I added the Elephant hot air balloon with foam tape and the bear one I glued with liquid glue. The sentiment is from Avery Elles Stamp set that I stamped with Concord and 9th Midnight ink and cut it out with a MFT banner die. I added it with a thin strip of foam tape. Lastly, I added yellow Chiffon Pops of Color drops and that finishes my card. I hope you like it. Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Easter!

Hi everyone, Happy Easter! I hope you are doing well today. I have a Easter card today to share with you. I used a Digital Stamp from the Not2Shabby Shop.

Isn’t this bunny so cute?? It’s called Carrots the Bunny. I printed him on Georgia Pacific 110lb cardstock and colored it in with my Copic Markers. I then fussy cut it out. I made my background using the Dots For Spring Pattern Paper cutting it to a A2 size with my paper trimmer. I then used my grass paper punch from Fiskars to cut some grass out using green cardstock. The Little Red wagon and Itty Bitty eggs dies came from Honeybee Stamps that I copic colored the wheels and handle.

I then used a Happy Easter die from Memory Box that I cut out with Aqua and Black cardstock. I glued everything to my panel and added my panel to a A2 card base. Lastly, I added sequins. I hope you like my card. Thank you for stopping by!

Easter Wishes!

Hi everyone! I have a Easter Slimeline card to share with you today. I have a little process video if you would like to watch here: https://youtu.be/1LDZUqQ6Y3Q

Aren’t these bunnies cute?? I love them!! I used the Four Window Slimline Die from CC Designs and the stamp/Die set is called Easter Egg Hunt. I stamped them onto Sweet Sentiment cardstock with Jet Black ink from Lawn Fawn using my Misti. I colored them in with my Copic Markers. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I had to redo one bunny because it might have moved when I diecut it. Also I had some bleeding when using my blender marker. I just used my white signo pen to help clear that up.

I used the window slimline die and first cut it out with white cardstock but it looked too plain with my bunnies so I used a paper pack from my stash that had pink polka dot embossed paper. I glued the pink diecut over the white diecut using my liquid glue. The diecut from the Slimline die leaves you with four squares so I put them on purple tape and ink blended my clouds with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink using the MFT Mini Cloud Edges Slimline Stencil and my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes. On the rectangular piece I ink blended it using Peeled Paint distress oxide ink with MFT Grassy hills slimline stencil. I stamped my sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto my ink blended grass. I then added everything to my Slimline card base. I went a little crazy with Scrapbook’s Pops of Color in Pearl Soft Pink. I also added white gel accents to my bunnies. I hope you have enjoyed my card. I had a lot of fun making it.

Valentine Cards using a Digi stamp

Hi everyone I am back with a couple of valentine cards using a digital stamp called Girl with Heart from the kindacutebypatricia store. Here is a short video to me explaining my cards on my YouTube Channel https://youtu.be/jeuxAgVcVgw

Isn’t she cute? I made 2 cards since I had her printed out 2 times. Usually I do that in case I mess up. In this case I couldn’t decide if liked my first card that I did with the washi tape. Does that happen to you? So I made another card. Although, I think I just couldn’t capture it greatly with the poor weather we are having. I did print my girl with heart onto Georgia Pacific 110 cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers. I then fussy cut them out!

I used a embossing folder for both my cards but in different ways. The first card with pink cardstock and the second card I used white cardstock with some Worn Lipstick distress Oxide ink that I rubbed in the embossing folder and closed it and ran it through my die cutting machine. I like both of the looks and I hope you do too. On my first card I used washi tape like I mentioned and cut out a banner using my trimmer. I had some hearts on my desk so I also decorated my first card with those hearts and sequins. I hope you like my cards. Thank you for stopping by!

Simple Holiday Packaging!

Hi everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving? I did it was quiet but nice. I have some projects to share. I used a Digital stamp from the Not2Shabby Shop to help me with my holiday packaging. I love making tags! There is also a sale going on for Black Friday! yay!!!

I used Marshmallow Hot Tub as my digital image that was printed onto Georgia Pacific 110lb paper. I printed two of them and then colored them in with my Copic Markers and fussy cut them out. I used some pattern paper from Simple stories and that helped with matching my coloring.

I used my tag on this box packaging. I added my image with foam tape and added some holly leaves and berries. I added stickles and some seam binding.

I used my tag on a Gable box here where I added my image with foam tape. I used a pine die and then added a seam binding bow. I also added stickles. I love the strawberry marshmallows on this one! I hope you like my projects, I hope it gave you some inspiration. There is still time to join the current digi challenge and you can win a digi stamp. Thank you for stopping by!
