BYSH Cardmakers Sketch 29

Hello everyone, I’m back with another BYSH Cardmakers Sketch 29 Project. I hope you love this sketch challenge as much as I do. It’s a great way to use up some of that pattern paper that we end up saving.

Isn’t this Santa cute? I had to use him for this card. This Santa die is a Spellbinders die that I have had for a while now. He was easy to put together. I first cut out my pattern papers from LDRS City Sidewalks Paper Pad 6×6. I use a ruler and my paper trimmer to help me with the sizing for the sketch. I also used a circle die to cut out my circle for the center focal point.

I also copic colored Santa’s skin and beard. Lastly, I added some white gel accents with my Gelly Roll pen. I glued my pattern papers together onto a gray A2 card base. I then glued my Santa. I didn’t add any embellishments or a sentiment to this card, I liked it without. I also loved the pattern paper to much to cover it up. I hope you like my card and participate in the challenge. The challenge ends on January 31, 2023. Must add in the FB album to be eligible to win a prize.

Sketch 29 BYSH Cardmakers

Hi everyone! I have a card today for Sketch 29. We decided to extend it for January, its such a fun sketch. You can read more about it on the BYSH Cardmakers Blog here.

This card was so super easy to make and I enjoy layers for a fun and sturdy card. I used pattern paper from a LDRS Christmas paper pad 6×6 called City Sidewalks and some red cardstock from a Scrapbook.com Christmas A2 paper pack. I use my ruler and paper trimmer to help me with measuring and cutting my paper to match the sketch. Since, you can use any shape for the focal point. I used a scalloped tag paper punch and punched out my tag with the pattern paper.

I had this fun image and sentiment all ready for me from my stash. This image is from the Joyful Dog stamp set as well as the sentiment from the Sassy Club. Lastly, I added a bow and added my sentiment. I hope you’ll join this months challenge, there is always a prize. Upload to the FB Album by January 31, 2023. I can’t wait to see your card.

Hello everyone! I’m back with another project for Paper Sweeties 25 Days of Christmas. Did you know if you comment on the Paper Sweeties Blog you could with a $100 shopping Spree?

I always enjoy using the Paper Sweeties Dolls and this one is Emma. She’s my favorite. I had her colored in already which was her hair and skin color which made this card really easy. I used the outfit from Have A Holly Jolly Holiday. I love all the images you can stamp on her shirt. I went with the Gingerbread Man. I colored it all in with my Copic Markers and fussy cut out the outfit to paper piece. I used the coordinating Sweet cuts to cut Emma out. I also used a black marker to clean up my edges before gluing it onto Emma. I stamped my sentiment onto white cardstock and colored in her shoes which I fussy cut also.

I also stamped and colored in her ear muffs from Warm Winter Wishes stamp set, I fussy cut them out and glued them to her ears. I think she looks cute and warm. I used Doodlebug Pattern paper from my background and kraft cardstock. I sprayed my Kraft cardstock w Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain. I glued everything to a A2 red card base. I popped Emma up with foam tape and layered my pre-stamped sentiment. I added s little bit of white liquid drops for my snow next to Emma it looked plain before. Reindeer Names!

Hello everyone! I have a tag and a Slimline card today. On my projects I used the Reindeer Names Stencil and the Buffalo Plaid Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. If shopping use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

This Reindeer Names is such a fun Mini Stencil 3×6. I love the names of Santa’s Reindeers don’t you? I know Children love saying and reading the names too. I grabbed some white cardstock and I placed my stencil over it. I used Barn Door Distress ink Cube to ink blend the names. I then cut it out with a Trinity Stamps Tag Die Set. I cut out another tag in red glitter and layered it. Lastly, I added red ribbon and red liquid drops. So easy right?

On my Slimline card I ink blended the names again on white cardstock using Barn Door Distress ink again. This time I cut it out with a MFT Double Stitched Slimline die. I used the Buffalo Plaid Stencil with Festive Berries Distress ink cube on white cardstock. I cut it using the biggest die from the same MFT set.

I glued everything to a Slimline card base. I placed my card in my Misti which thankfully it worked out to stamp this deer from a older Tonic Studies card kit. I added some red liquid drops and that finishes off this card. I love how easy and fun these two projects came out.
