Level Up Birthday Card!

Hi everyone! I have a Special Birthday Card to share with you and it’s another light up card using EZ Lights from Pear Blossom Press.

Today is my Son’s Birthday he is 7. He has been so excited counting down everyday. And he should right?? He has been so excited with my light up cards that I thought I am going to make him one. So I used MFT’s Game Controller Die-Namics. It’s a great die and I have a few gamers in my family. I copic colored some Neenah Solar White cardstock for the buttons on the controller before running the dies through my Spellbinders Platinum Machine. I used heavy weight black cardstock for the controller and diecut it two times for dimension.

I then stamped and heat embossed this cute boy image from The Greeting Farm’s Gamer Couple. I had used the girl previously for my daughter so I was happy to used this boy for my son. I copic colored him and matched his clothes to my sons clothes. I then fussy cut him out. I made the background stamping the small icon images from the stamp set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink using my Misti. I colored those images with copic markers too. I added my EZ Lights to the back of my background panel. I used a small hole puncher to have my lights show through. I use scotch tape to secure my wires into place. I then added Clear Foam Tape 5MM to the ends so that my power button would not be noticeable at all. I then cut my background to layer on a 4.25 x 5.5 black cardstock and then glued them to my A2 card base. The boy and controller were glued with liquid glue.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the same Gamer Couple stamp set onto Pear Blossom Press’s Black sentiment cardstock with Versamark and WOW Bright White Opaque embossing powder. I cut them down with my paper trimmer. The “Press Here” sentiment is from MFT Interactve Labels that I heat embossed and cut out with a circle die from Waffle Flower Crafts. I hope you like my card, it was a lot of fun to make and I know my son will love it!!

It’s Your Birthday, Time To Shake It!

Hi everyone! I have a fun Birthday card to share with you today. I hope your doing well today.

I love shaped cards? Do you love them too? I had this cutie already colored from Tropical State Of Mind from The Rabbit Hole Designs so all I had to do was use the Tropical State of Mind die to cut it out. I wish it was that easy all the time LOL. I know I stamped and heat embossed this image onto Neenah Solar White 80lb. with Versafine black ink and Hero Arts Clear embossing powder. she was colored with Altenew Artist Markers.

I then used a Crimped Circle die from the Greetery and a Scalloped Circle from Mama Elephant that I cut out two times with heavy weight white cardstock to make my circle card base. I stamped the sentiment with Catherine Pooler Sugared Lavender dye ink onto a stitched rectangle die cut. I also added this ink to my crimped circle. I glued everything together and used my white gel pen from Pear Blossom Press which I love so much. Lastly, I added White Pops of Color. I hope you have enjoyed my card. Thank you for stopping by!

Cow Are You?

Hello everyone! I have a cute Slimline card to share with you today using a Digi Stamp from Kinda Cute By Patricia. It’s also a Birthday card. I am always in need of Birthday cards. Birthday cards might be my favorite to make!

Aren’t these cows Udderly Adorable? hehe. I thought how cute to make a Birthday card with these cows. This DIgi stamp is called Cow. I first printed them onto Georgia Pacific 110lb cardstock. I colored them in with my Altenew Artist Markers. I then fussy cut them out. You get three different cows but I just chose to color up two for this slimline card design.

I made my background using white cardstock and I first used the Big Balloon Stencil from MFT with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and a Cotton Tail Blending Brush. I then used a Cloud Stencil from MFT called Mini Cloud Edges with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. I inked the Balloon string using the Balloon stencil and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink. I then used the Slimline Grassy Edges Stencil from MFT with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I very carefully used the balloon stencil and a cow print stencil also MFT which I believe is now retired with Gina K Designs White Pigment ink with a small blender brush. I had to do it a couple of times as it look a little chalky.

I used a Slimline Die set from Gina Marie Designs to cut my panel out. I added my cows popping one up with foam tape. I then stamped a sentiment using three sentiment stamps from Sunny Studio Stamps called Miss Moo that I stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I cut it out with my paper trimmer and then used my T-Square Ruler to place my sentiment straight with foam tape. My panel was then added to a black Slimline card base. I then added white gel accents with my white Signo pen and sequins. Can you believe I used four stencils for my card today? I hope you enjoyed my card, it was fun to make. Have a Great Crafty Day!

Happy Birthday Darling!

Hi my friends! I hope your doing great on this Tuesday! I have a Birthday card to share today using a new to me company! Colorado Craft Company.

So I used this stamp set called Lovely Legs Valentine Stamp from Colorado Craft Company. Since I didn’t use it for Valentine’s Day it has these Birthday sentiments. So that is what I did. I stamped this image onto Taylored Expressions Watercolor cardstock with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink. I then colored the image in with Prima Pastel watercolors and Prima Complexion watercolor paints and my black velvet brush and water. I painted the background also and flickered paint splatters with white Copic Paint and a silverish Hydracolour paint.

I cut out my watercolor panel out with a die from My Creative Time and placed my panel in my Misti to stamp and heat emboss the sentiment with Versafine black ink and Hero Arts Clear embossing powder. I then cut out some colored cardstock to match using a A2 stitched rectangle. I glued my panel to my colored cardstock and then to my A2 card base. Lastly, I added some sequins to match. I hope you like my Birthday card, it was so much fun to make. I really like this company so you may see another card from me using another stamp set. Thank you for stopping by!

Pops of color Ink blended cards

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a couple of cards using dies and ink blending. No stamping this time! Well maybe just a sentiment!

So I have been having fun ink blending my backgrounds. And I think I am just loving color. The Winter colors aren’t what I am feeling right now. is that the case for you too? On this Birthday Card I used Abandoned Coral, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks along with my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes from TRHD. I used Stamps of Life Dies. I used the Heart Background die for my rectangle A2 panel, Doily 1, and the Birthday Hugs Die. I added my panel to a A2 card base heavy weight and added enamel dots.

On this card I used the rectangle and the heart die from the Heart Background die. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Hickory Smoke, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks. My sentiment is from CC Designs Cupid Swissie that I stamped with Versafine ink and clear embossing powder. I added my panel to a A2 heavyweight card base and added some hearts from the cutout for decoration. I hope you like my cards, thank you for stopping by!

I used this super cute Digital Penguin stamp called Penguin By The Fire from the Kinda Cute By Patricia Shop. I first printed hime and the fire onto Georgia Pacific paper 110lb. I then used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut them out. I colored them in using my Copic Markers.

The dies I used for my design are from My Creative Time called Torn Paper Frame Dies. I used some fun woodlands pattern paper called Happy Gnomes from Waffle Flower Crafts. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from Lawn Fawns Happy Happy Happy Stamp set using Versamark ink and Wow Bright White Embossing Powder. I glued my panels together and added my penguin and fire. Lastly, I added some sequins and my Card front to a A2 white card base. I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by!

Masculine Birthday Card

Hi everyone! I have a fun Masculine Birthday card to share with you today. I usually have trouble with Masculine cards but I had a blast putting this one together. I hope you got my pun.

Isn’t this fun? I used Mft’s Blast Off Die-Namics and I used MFT’s Show Me Your Stripes Stencil. I first cut out a A2 size rectangle with white cardstock. I then used Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Iced Spruce, and Chipped sapphire Distress Oxides to use with my stencil. I used the Cotton Tail Blender Brushes to blend those inks. Fabulous brushes to use. I then sprayed some water and dried the access with a microfiber towel.

To make my spaceship I cut it all out with white cardstock and then used my Distress Oxides in Fired Brick, Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, and Spiced Marmalade to color the pieces. I did use a Copic Marker R46 for the ring of the circle. I then used The Rabbit Hole Designs for my sentiment which I stamped and heat embossed with Versamark and Brutus Monroe’s Alabaster White embossing powder. The sentiment is from Infinity and Beyond. I cut it out as a fishtail banner. I glued everything to my panel and added my panel to a gray A2 card base. I did use a Black and white Gelly roll pen for accents to my spaceship.

And here is the inside of my card using Infinity and Beyond Stamp Set that I heat embossed again with white embossing powder. I will be writing in a Silver Gel pen since it is black cardstock and I will be entering a couple of challenges. I hope you like my card, I will be giving it to my husband for his Birthday Tomorrow. Thank you for stopping by, I truly appreciate it.
