A Sweet Koala Hi

Hi everyone! I am so happy to be on the TRHD blog today. I have a card to share with you using some of my favorite New TRHD products.

I used the Koala Botanical stamp set, Amanda Stencil, Double Thick Clear Foam Tape 5MM Wide, and Space-Miss You Stamp set for my card today. I first stamped my flower and Koala onto Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock using my Misti. I then colored up my images using a little No-Line ink coloring with Altenew Artist Markers and Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I chose to fussy cut the flower and put my Koala to the side to work on my background.

I used some Neenah Desert Storm 80lb cardstock and used the Amanda Stencil with Bundles Sage Distress Oxide ink with a Cotton Tail Blending brush. I then sprayed Picket Fence Distress Oxide Spray Stain through the stencil onto my panel. When it was dry I cut it out with a A2 stitched rectangle die. I then chose to cut my Koala out with a oval stitched die and stamp the sentiment “Hi” with green dye ink. I love how the oval frames her. I then glued my flower to my oval and added them with the New Clear foam tape 5mm Wide to my stenciled rectangle panel. I then added sequins to match and white gel accents to my Koala’s eyes . My panel was then added to a A2 card base. I hope you enjoyed my card.

The Rabbit Hole Designs May 2021 Release Day 2

Hi everyone! Welcome to Day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs May Release I hope you enjoyed Day 1 as much as I did. Today we are featuring One Line Flower Stamp Set 2×3, and Hippo Botanical 4×6 Stamp Set. Also hope you are loving the new item which is the New Clear Foam Tape in 2 sizes. Perfect for shaker cards. Usually there are prizes so make sure and comment on the blogs and social media, so let’s get started!

One Line Flower Stamp

Hippo Botanical

So today I am using the New Hippo Botanical Stamp Set with the New Amanda Stencil featured yesterday for Day 1. I first stamped my images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock 80lb. with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink. I colored my image in with Copic Markers and then fussy cut them out. I wanted to frame my Hippo so I used some stitched Polygon Dies from Honeybee Stamps. I placed two dies together with purple tape before running them through my cutting machine using white cardstock. I then glued my Hippo to the frame with liquid glue and placed to the side to work on my background.

I used Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink, the New Amanda Stencil, and a Cotton Tail Blending Brush to make my background. I then added some black pain splatters subtly with a paintbrush and water. When that was dry I cut my background out with a stitched rectangle A2 die. I added my background panel to a A2 card base and added my images with liquid glue except my framed Hippo that was added with the New Clear Foam Tape 5MM Wide. I then stamped and heat embossed my sentiment with Wow Opaque Bright White embossing powder and Versamark ink on black cardstock. My sentiment was cut with my paper trimmer before adding it to my card front. Lastly, I added some white translucent flower embellishments and Sparkle with my Sparkle pen. I hope you enjoyed my card.

So I used the Koala Botanical Stamp Set 5X6 and Amanda Stencil 6×6 for my card today. I stamped this image onto Arteza Watercolor Paper with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink using my Misti. I then colored it in with my Tombow Dual Brush Watercolor Markers and a paintbrush and water. I applied a few layers letting it dry in between. I then added some Prismacolor colored Pencils to some of the flowers and leaves. When I was satisfied I fussy cut the Koala out.

I wanted some foil for my background so I did apply some Deco foil Transfer Gel White but I used the wrong paste. I really wanted the Transfer Gel Duo. After I ran it through my cutting machine I noticed my mistake, So to fix my background I applied some Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink with my Cotton Tail Blending Brush over my panel. I feel like my card looks very Green now like a place a Koala would live LOL. I then cut out my panel with a stitched A2 rectangle Die. I added my Koala with the New Clear Foam Tape 5MM which I love onto my panel. I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock from Moon Bunny with Wow Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder and Versamark ink. I then cut it out with a Pink and Main Sentiment Strips Die and added it to my panel. My panel was then added to a A2 card base. I added sequins and that finishes my card. I hope you enjoyed it
