Happy World Cardmaking Day 2017

Hi there.  I am so happy to share a card with you that I made for World Cardmaking Day.  I chose to create this card for the Concord and 9th challenge which is to make a card with their products.  I chose to use the Flower Turnabout stamp with some festive holiday colors.  I had fun using my Misti, I should use my bigger Misti more often.  I chose to turn this stamp three times to get my design.  I then added leaves and centers that are included in the stamp set.  I die cut the rounded stitched square and rounded scalloped stitched square using my dies from My Creative Time.  I popped the rounded stitched square with foam tape.  I die cut a smaller rounded stitched square for my sentiment.  I die cut a vellum piece for a layer, for a softer look. I glued those together and added foam tape to pop that up as well.  I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment which is also included in this stamp set.  I popped my panels onto a square top folding card base.  Last thing I did was add some reddish Nuvo drops and glitter with my Spectrum Noir Clear glitter pen. My glitter bled a little on a flower but I kinda like that mistake, can’t be perfect all the time right? Have a great day.  I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by!

Trick or Treat!

Hi there.  I’m here to share another Halloween card that I created using a rubber stamp from C.C. Designs called PUMPKIN BIRGITTA.  I stamped and heat embossed the image and colored her with my Copic markers.  I think she came out really cute, I colored her once before probably last year but in colored pencils.  I really like her colored in with Copic markers.  I fussy cut her out and I couldn’t figure how I wanted to make my card.  I tend to hoard my pattern paper, so I made my own using a candy image from Avery Elle and the pumpkin basket from Lawn Fawn.  I think it looks a little busy, but so does pattern paper too.  It was fun and that was what I was going for.  I used stitched rectangle oval dies from a MFT blueprints die set.  I layered my oval panel on a black cardstock rectangle that I die cut from Hero Arts Infinity Stax.  I stamped and heat ebossed the sentiment onto a flag banner die.  The sentiment came from the Lawn Fawn stamp set Monster Party.    I popped the girl and sentiment up with foam tape and added my panels onto a black A2 top folding card base.  Lastly, I added glitter with my glitter pen, stickles onto the candy, Nuvo drops scattered, and gel accents with my Gelly Roll Pens.  I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by.

Fall Birthday

Hi there.  Today I made this cute card.  I chose to use mostly die cuts today.  I forgot how fun that could be.  I first started off die cutting a rectangle from Hero Arts Infinity stax.  I had this yellow plaid paper in my stash from a previous project and it was just right to layer on the sides.  I trimmed my white cardstock just a bit to make my panel even for a A2 card size.  I chose to use my Fall dies from Jaded Blossom, for the barrel I used a woodgrain embossing folder.  I love that embossing folder and I don’t hardly use it.  I need to change that.  Okay, back to my card.  I used distress oxide inks for my apples, leaves, my ground, and for my clouds.  I sprinkled some water droplets and dried the excess with a paper towel.  I needed a critter,  so I had never used this cute bunny from Penny Black, I think I got it last year.  It was so easy and it made my card CUTE.  I used some Copics to bring my bunny to life.  I also used some Copic markers to make some grass flicks. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from Jaded Blossoms So Many Birthdays 2.   Last thing I did before I adheared my card was to add Liquid Pearls, Nuvo Drops, Gelly roll accents, and stickles to my die cuts.  I used my ATG gun to adhere everything to a A2 top folding card base.  That finishes my card, thank you for stopping by.

Punkin Doodle

Hi there.  Today I made this cute card using this sweet girl image that my friend sent me.  I believe she is a digital image from Little Blue Button Stamps called Charlie Wavy Hair.  She is so sweet she even sent this image ready to go on this scalloped rectangle.  I colored her with my Copic markers.  I really wanted her to look like a Fall image, so I colored her in Fall colors.  I used a sentiment from CC Designs and heat embossed it.  I also used some pumpkin banner dies from Jaded Blossom and cut them apart to place in the corners of my card. I used the orange cardstock that I used for my pumpkins and die cut a rectangle from Hero Arts for my mat.   Lastly, I added glitter with my Spectrum Noir glitter pen and some white gel aceents with my gelly roll pen.  I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by.

Trick or Treaters

Hi there.  I made two cute cards, I might have to make one more because I love them so much.  How can you not love Lawn Fawn right?  I used this super cute stamp set called Costume Party.  I colored the images with my Copic markers and then I fussy cut them all out.  I used Say Cheese Again and Stitched Rectangle Dies to make my Scene.  I also used Grassy Hills die from MFT.  I used Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink for my night sky along with some white dots and stars with my white gelly roll pen.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the set with SSS white embossing powder.  I popped my images up and placed my panels onto a black A2 top folding card base.  I added some glitter with my Spectrum Noir glitter pen for the costumes, and I added matching sequins.  I hope you like my cards, thank you for taking a look.

Congrats Baby Bear Girl Card

Hi there.  Today, I made this cute baby card.  I was gifted this baby bear image by my friend the illustrator from Kinda Cute By Patricia.  Isn’t this bear image the cutest?  I colored it with my Copic markers since it was stamped on alcohol friendly paper.  I tried to make the bunny slipper have some texture, it got a little messy as my gelly pens bled a bit.  I still like how it turned out though, it’s a homemade card right?  I used my white, black, and clear gelly roll pens for accents as well.  I fussy cut the image out,  which was pretty easy to do.  I used a diagonal stencil from MFT and Spun Sugar distress ink for my diagonal lines on my stitched rectangle panel.  I just used white card stock for my scalloped rectangle, this die set is my Mama Elephant.  I die cut my word die three times in white cardstock, the die came from My Creative Time.  I added a pink satin ribbon bow, glitter, and white Nuvo drops.  I glued everything down onto a white A2 top folding card base.  That finishes my card, I hope you like it.  I also will be entering this card for the SSS Wednesday Challenge-Anything Goes.  Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Sunflower Shaker

Hi there.  Today, I made this sunflower shaker card.  I wanted to do a sunflower because I have been so inspired by so many cards I have seen.  I didn’t think I had a huge sunflower stamp, but I did.  It was right in my stash, a wooden stamp. I’m not really sure of the name.  You can do this tecnique with any sunflower stamp.  It’s fun to use a wooden stamp once in awhile, they need love too.  I stamped and heat embossed the wooden rubber stamp three times with Versafine black ink and clear embossing powder onto Bristol paper.  I used my Zig Clean Color real Brush Markers and water brush to color the images.  I then fussy cut them all out.  I die cut some rectangle panels from Hero Arts Infinity Dies.  I used a plaid green pattern paper from MFT for my top layer.  I used the MFT Square Peek-a-Boo Window for my shaker along with the Square Shaker Pouches.  I used green and yellow sequins form my stash to match the sunflowers.  I decided to alter the image a bit and cut the sunflowers and leaves seperate.  I arranged the flowers and leaves to my liking after I put my shaker together.  I used a Happy Birthday sentiment from a stamp set by from My Creative Time called Make a Wish.  I stamped it and then heat embossed it onto my plaid panel.  I glued all my panels onto a A2 top folding card base.  Lastly I added some white Nuvo drops for interest.  I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by.
