I Chews You!

Hi everyone! I have a fun card to share. I’m finally getting into Valentine Crafting and I am in the process of moving into my Craft room. I hope to share more with you soon! Now here’s my card.

Well isn’t this Gumball Machine cu-te? I have my Cameo Silhouette set up now on a stand that rolls yay. So this SVG file was in my Silhouette Library that I purchased years ago called Gumball Machine So Much Pun by Doodlebug Design. I cut out all my pieces to build my Gumball Machine with colored 12×12 cardstock. I then put my gumball machine together. Some pieces like gray and dark gray I will use the lightest paper for all and then use my copic marker to color it darker. It saves time. I didn’t cut out enough gumballs so I just colored in my own gumballs using markers.

I used a rectangle A2 stitched die to cut out this fun striped pattern paper from a retired MFT 6×6 paper pack. I stamped and heat embossed this pun sentiment from Simon Says Stamp called I Chews You onto a banner strip on black cardstock with white embossing powder. I glued my gumball machine to my pattern paper and then onto a A2 card base. I added my sentiment with a foam skinny strip and then added that big gum ball. Lastly, I added some enamel dots and white gel accents. I hope you like my Valentine card. I had a lot of fun making it! I will also be able linking this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes!

Hugs!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a card to share using Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. I used Fur-ever Friends stamp set and the With Love Die set .

I had this cute fox and butterflies already stamped and cut out for me from last time. These images are from the Fur-ever Stamp set. I had colored them with my Copic markers and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut Machine. I then cut out my background panel using a rectangle A2 die from my stash. I then ink blended the cardstock with Flamingo Kitsch Distress Oxide ink.

I used my favorite die set, the With Love die set for my word sentiment. I cut it out with yellow cardstock and white cardstock. I glued my panel to a pink A2 card base. I popped up my butterflies with foam tape and glued my fox and word sentiment with liquid glue. Lastly, I added some clear sequins and used a gray copic marker to give my fox a grounding line. I hope you like my card for today. I had fun putting it together. I will have one more card for my guest design for sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps at the end of the week.

More Snowflakes!

Hi everyone! I have another Snowflake card today for Woodblock Wednesday. I love this fun Challenge that you can link up over on Amy Tsuruta’s Blog. I had fun making another snowflake card using non traditional colors and my woodblock stamps.

I first grabbed some white cardstock that I cut to a A2 size 4.1/4 x 5 1/2. I stamped Dear Friend using a Woodblock stamp in the center with Color Box ink in Candy(pink). I have had this stamp for so long, I was happy to use it. I then used a Snowflake Woodblock stamp from Hero Arts. I stamped it repeatedly with Catherine Pooler Matcha Ink and then with Catherine Pooler Crushed Violet ink.

I stamped the sentiment “Dear Friend” again on white cardstock with Candy ink and fussy cut it out. I then added foam tape to the back of it. I trimmed my panel to 4x 5.25 and glued it to a gray heavy weight card base 110lb. I added some translucent sequins and my sentiment and that finishes my card. I hope you like it. I had fun making it. I love getting use out of my woodblock stamps.

Heart Wreath Valentine Card

Hello everyone! I have a Valentine card to share using a New Stencil from A Colorful Life Design’s January 2023 Release called the Heart Wreath.

I love this stencil, it’s another favorite of mine from this release. I started out with pink cardstock and laid my Heart Wreath stencil over it. I used Nuvo Frosted Petal Glacier Paste to apply with a spatula. When it was dry I cut it out with a Mama Elephant scalloped circle die.

I cut out my scripty word sentiment using a die from Mama Elephant with Black cardstock. I glued my Circle background to a matching A2 card base. I glued my sentiment and cut the excess off with my scissors. Lastly, I added some pink sequins to match. I hope you like it. Use my coupon code VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase.

With Sympathy

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I’m back with another Guest Designing project for Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. This card is using a Beautiful Birds & Blooms Stamp Set, Typewriter Text Background, and With Love Word Die Set.

I first stamped my images from the Birds and Blooms Stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and cut out my images with the Brother Scan n Cut. I then colored my bird and blooms with Copic Markers. I used white cardstock and stamped the Typewriter Text Background with Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink using my Misti Stamping Platform. I cut out my background using a rectangle die from my stash

Next, I used the With Love Word die set using a the “with” and “Sympathy” words. I cut them out with white cardstock 3 times and with yellow cardstock 1 time. It’s never easy to make a Sympathy card but I feel this card has a lot of love to make anyone feel loved. I added foam tape to the back of my blooms and bird and adhered them to my rectangle panel. My panel was added to a blue heavyweight card base. I then added my word sentiments and sequins to match. I hope you like it. I will be back next week with more projects for Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps.

Snowflakes!

Hello everyone! It had been a bit since I posted on my blog and thought today was a good day for it. I have been inspired by so many snowflake cards. So I made some snowflake cards and I will be making more. Earlier in the month it was inspired by trees and now snowflakes. It’s so good to be inspired and motivated don’t you think so?

I started out with heavy weight Karaft Cardstock 110lb. I used a Unity Stamp Co. Stamp set called Kindness is like snow for the snowflakes. I really love these rubber stamps. I stamped the snowflakes randomly in Versafine Onyx black ink and Gina K Designs White pigment ink. I love how they look and super easy to make your own backgrounds. I then used a retired MFT Rectangle die set to cut my panels out. I then used a Sizzix Tim Holtz Snowflakes 3D Impresslits that I got on clearance at Hobby Lobby. It’s a embossing folder that cuts out the shape. Super neat. So I did that with vellum. It has the large and small snowflake.

I then used silver glitter paper with a retired MFT Sweet Snowflakes die set. I left the snowflakes connected to each other and so I could cut out the 3 snowflakes at a time. I glued my snowflakes to my panels. I stamped some sentiments from Papertrey Ink called Just Sentiments:Snow on white cardstock in Versafine Black Onyx ink. I cut them to fit and attached them with foam tape. I glued my panels to Black A2 heavy weight card bases. I then added some glitter snowflake pops of color liquid drops. I hope you like them. I went and made 3 more just like this but they are Thank you cards that were given to my recipients in person.

Belated Birthday Wishes!

Hello everyone! I have my final blog post of the year. I hope you had a wonderful Holiday. I have a Belated Birthday card using the Mega Flower Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. We all forget right? but this card could make someone smile. I celebrated my Birthday all month! Hehe.

This stencil is a 6×8 Stencil and so Beautiful. I chose to make it a A2 card size but it would be so beautiful as a A7 card. I grabbed some white cardstock and ink blended my stencil with Seedless Preserves Distress ink cube, Dusty Concord Distress ink cube, and Antique Linen Distress ink cube for the center.

I then cut it out with a stitched A2 rectangle die. I decided to add some gold Nuvo Gilding Flakes to my panel. Who doesn’t love some gold shine right? and it’s a Birthday card. I would add liquid glue and rub on the flakes. Super easy. I then added my panel to a A2 card base. I added some pre-made sentiment strips from my stash popping one up with foam tape. LiteBrite Flowers

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have some cards to share using a Beautiful stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called LiteBrite Flowers.

I love this stencil it reminds me of having a Lite Brite machine when I was young. It would be so fun to have this card be interactive with a light. Don’t you think? On this card I used Transfer Duo Paste and Neon Rina K Designs Thermoweb Transfer sheets in Poppin Pink on white cardstock. I love how it turned out. I cut my panel smaller than a A2 size. and glued it to a A2 card base. I added a already pre-made gold foiled sentiment with foam tape. Lastly, I glued on some neon embellishments. I hope you like it.

On this card I did the same thing only I used black cardstock and a different pre-made gold foiled sentiment from my stash. I used Novo Drops in Pale Gold for my embellishments. 25 Days Of Christmas with Paper Sweeties

Hello everyone! I’m back with another project for Paper Sweeties 25 Days of Christmas. Did you know if you comment on the Paper Sweeties Blog you could with a $100 shopping Spree?

I always enjoy using the Paper Sweeties Dolls and this one is Emma. She’s my favorite. I had her colored in already which was her hair and skin color which made this card really easy. I used the outfit from Have A Holly Jolly Holiday. I love all the images you can stamp on her shirt. I went with the Gingerbread Man. I colored it all in with my Copic Markers and fussy cut out the outfit to paper piece. I used the coordinating Sweet cuts to cut Emma out. I also used a black marker to clean up my edges before gluing it onto Emma. I stamped my sentiment onto white cardstock and colored in her shoes which I fussy cut also.

I also stamped and colored in her ear muffs from Warm Winter Wishes stamp set, I fussy cut them out and glued them to her ears. I think she looks cute and warm. I used Doodlebug Pattern paper from my background and kraft cardstock. I sprayed my Kraft cardstock w Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain. I glued everything to a A2 red card base. I popped Emma up with foam tape and layered my pre-stamped sentiment. I added s little bit of white liquid drops for my snow next to Emma it looked plain before. Celebrate The Season

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing good. I have a Christmas Card today using the Marvelous Masks Diamond Stencils from A Colorful Life Designs.

I love all the Marvelous Masks Stencils but when I seen this one Marvelous Masks Diamond I was super excited about it. I believe it’s from the November 2022 Release. On my card today I used stencil #4 on white cardstock with Nuvo Paste Golden Era. This paste is a favorite of mine.

When my paste dried I cut my panel down to 4×5.25 and glued it to a A2 card base. I thought it was pretty to add some Chipboard stickers from my stash. These ones are from Simple Stories Winter Cottage. They are another favorite of mine. I glued them to my panel and added a pre-made sentiment strip from my stash. BYSH Cardmakers Sketch Challenge 29

Hello everyone? Have you been enjoying the New Sketch 29 Challenge? Hosted by BYSH Cardmakers. It’s definitely a fun one! I have a card to share using the New Sketch 29.

I chose to use this cut Yetti from Lawn Fawn called Yetti Or Not. I think he’s adorable don’t you? and perfect for the sketch. I stamped him in Momento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him in with my Copic Markers as well as his accessories. I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut everything out.

I used some fun pattern paper from my stash called Simple Stories Feelin Frosty 6×8 paper pack for the Sketch. It was easier for me to use my paper trimmer and a ruler to complete the process. I stamped my sentiment from the stamp set and glued everything together using liquid glue for my A2 pink card base. I hope you like it and give this Sketch 29 a try. Woodblock Wednesday!

Hello everyone! I have been inspired so much by Amy Tsuruta’s Woodblock Series that I thought this time I would participate in her Woodblock Wednesday for December 7, 2022.

I made 2 cards! I chose to use this Christmas Tree Woodblock stamp that I believe is from Michaels. I love the look of colored pencils on colored cardstock. I stamped and heat embossed the tree stamp with Versamark ink and WOW Opaque Bright White Super Fine Embossing Powder. I did that 2 times. I chose to color my baubles in with shades of blue Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I also used white, and Silver Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I colored the tree white and the base Silver. I stamped and heat embossed the confetti from the “Cheers” Woodblock stamp as my snow with the same embossing powder and ink. It’s a little harder to see how your stamp might stamp using a woodblock and just a portion to not stamp the sentiment. I first colored the bottom of my panel with a white pencil for my ground and didn’t care for that too much. So I added chunky glitter, can’t go wrong with glitter right? My panel was cut down to 4 x 5.25 and glued to a Grey top folding A2 card base. I fussy cut my tree and glued it with foam tape before adhering it to my panel and then to a card base.. Lastly, I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from woodblock collection from Michaels. I added my sentiment with foam tape and that was it for this card.

On this card, I did pretty much the same. The only difference is I added my tree to a white panel and stamped a different sentiment in black ink. I also glued some dots of glue using my liquid glue and dusted on some chunky glitter. My panel was added to a white top folding A2 card base keeping this card flat. I hope you enjoyed what I created with my Woodblocks. I had a blast and I Thank Amy for this fun series and linky.
