Be A Peacock!

Hi there.  Today, I made this Peacock card using this pretty image from Jaded Blossom called Peacock.  I stamped and heat embossed the image and colored it in with my Metallic water colors. I had so much fun painting, I will need to use that medium more often.  I fussy cut the image after coloring and die cut a stitched rectangle  and a scalloped rectangle from Jaded Blossom.  I splattered some paint droplets onto my stitched rectangle and I painted the scalloped rectangle to match.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and added foam tape to my Peacock.  I added my panels to a A2 side folding card base.  Lastly, I added some green iridescent sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  I hope you like my card for today.

Thank you for stopping by,

Sending You Sunshine

Hi there.  Today I made this Summer card using these cute images from Pretty Pink Posh called Summer Friends. I first die cut some rectangles from Lil inker designs and Avery Elle wonky rectangles.  I stamped and colored all the images with my Copic markers.  I used some pattern paper from my stash.  I used distress oxide ink in Vintage Photo and Salty Ocean for my beach setting.  I used distress ink in Peeled Paint for the palm tree leaves and Vintage Photo for the tree trunk that I die cut from a MFT die set.  I glued all the images with liquid glue, and stamped the sentiment using Black Versafine Ink with my Mini Misti.  I also used  my Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter pen and glittered mostly everything on my card.  I used a A2 white card base for my panels.  Lastly, I added some Sunny Days sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and scattered them around my scene.  I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by.

Planner Treats from Wonderland

Hi There!  This is Von Marie and I’m doing my Guest Appearance today on the Jaded Blossom Blog.  I’m so very excited, especially since it was a very exciting August Release!!  Okay, well let me show you what I made:

I made this cute Alice in Wonderland Gift, I had just watched the movie and thought this would be perfect.  I got these planner page flag gift boxes at a Las Vegas boutique last month.  I decided to make a 3×3 card and matching envelope, planner bow clips, and to alter the page flag boxes.

My Process: I first die cut a square from the Card Mat Dies and two labels from the Label Shape Dies.  I stamped Alice from the Wonderland Bundle using my Mini Misti and colored her with my Copic markers.  I chose to use some white nuvo drops along with my white gelly roll pen for some fun accents.  I made some bows using the Bow Dies in a blue card stock to match in both sizes, adding a nuvo drop to the centers of the bows.  I used the square and made a cute 3X3 card adding a grey layer and a black top folding card base, I also made a matching envelope with the Wonderland Candies Stamp Set.  I used Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink to color the envelope along with my Copic markers.  I stamped and heat embossed the the sentiments onto a tag from the Mini Tag Dies 2 and I added a blue layer underneath for some interest.  I glued my die cuts onto the planner flags boxes and thought they needed a little something, so I die cut two banners cutting them to fit the top of the boxes using the grey card stock.  I chose to make some bows into Planner Paper Clips  with my hot glue gun since I thought it was appropriate for a planner Gift Box.  Lastly, I placed everything into a blue container and added plastic wrap and a big bow with more Nuvo drops.

I hope you like my project for today, it’s been a very exciting month and I had a blast! It’s been a pleasure to Guest Design.  Thank You So Very Much and a Huge Thank You to Michelle & Candace!!

Hi there.  Today, I made this card for the MFT Sketch Challenge 347.  I chose to use these cute birds from the stamp set Birds Of Paradise.  I stamped and heat embossed the images, and colored them with my Copic markers.  I  fussy cut them out with a tiny white border.  I used Doodlebug paper from my stash and glued everything onto a A2 card base.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with Versafine ink and SSS white embossing powder.  Lastly, I added some irridescent Pretty Pink Posh sequins and glitter with my Spectrum Noir glitter pen.  I hope you like my card, Thank you for stopping by.

Hay There!

Hi there.  Today I made a cute and simple card using this cutie from Giddy up from Jaded Blossom.  I Used the rectangle from Card Mat Dies and  made my own clouds with help from the border dies 2 and some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink.  I also used the border dies for my stitched ground using Vintage Photo Oxide Ink.  I stamped and heat embossed this cute horse and colored her up with Copic markers.  I used a label from the Label Shape Dies fror my stamped and heat embossed sentiment.  I glued everything onto my creme colored A2 top folding card base and added some accents with Copics and a gel pen.  I also used a little foam tape for the horses head for some dimension.  Lastly, I added some clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by.  Have a Great Day,

~Von Marie~

A Pegasus Birthday Card

Hi There.  Today, I made this cute Birthday Card using Pegasus Kisses from Jaded Blossom.  I started out die cutting a stitched Rectangle from the Card Mat Dies and I knew I wanted some colored clouds so I used a cloud border die from Border Dies 2.  I die cut a scrap of paper to use it as a cloud stencil.  I used my Distress Oxide inks in Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick to achieve my clouds.  I stamped and heat embossed the Pegasus and colored it in with my Copic Markers, and I added some white gelly roll accents for fun.  I fussy cut out the Pegasus and added some foam tape for some dimension.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment that comes from the stamp set.  I added some purple metallic paint to my purple clouds and then sprinkled water droplets and white metallic specks of paint onto my panel.  I also added some stickles to the Pegasus, and I glued everything on a pink A2 side folding card base.  That finishes my card for today, I hope you like it.  Thank you for stopping by!

Jaded Blossom’s August 2017 Blog Hop

Hey Everyone!  Welcome to Jaded Blossom’s August 2017 Release Blog Hop.

Now if you’re here from Michelle you’re in the right place, if you’re just passing through start at the beginning because you don’t want to miss a thing.  I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

Here is what I made:

I used that cute Hedgehog again from the Hedgehugs stamp set and made a Wine Tag and Card.  I stamped and heat embossed the Hedgehog on an MFT pattern paper, and used some Vintage Photo distress oxide ink to dab some color on the Hedgehog.  I added some cheeks with my copic marker and later white accents with my gel pen.  I die cut the wine tag die two times and dabbed ink with my round ink dauber in Faded Jeans distress oxid.  I used the Border Dies from Border Dies 2 to make my ground using Peeled Paint in oxide and regular distress ink.  I die cut Clouds and Mushrooms to make my scene using Spring Dies 2 and using Fired Brick Oxide, Wild Honey, and Vintage photo.  I spritz all my die cuts except the clouds with water and dabbed them with a paper towel.  I  cut the sentiment, stamped and heat embossed it onto my cloud.  The sentiment on the card was stamped only not embossed.  I glued everything down with liquid glue, except I popped my hedgehogs and ground up with foam tape.  Lastly, I glittered the mushrooms and added irridescent blue sequins to my card.  That finishes my projects, I hope you enjoyed the Release as much as I did!!   Thank you for stopping by!
