A Friend Like You!

Hi there.  I had been wanting to make this card for a while now, so today was the day.  I used these fun new stamps from Jaded Blossom called Mew Did IT and Kitty Faces stamp sets.  I first die cut a stitched rectangle from the Card Mat Dies which is also from Jaded Blossom,  using white heavy weight cardstock.  I then die cut a Scalloped Stitched Circle also from Jaded Blossom in white cardstock.  Sometimes I like to use all of the same companies products together.  After I stamped the kitty image and a cute kitty face onto the scalloped circle.  I then colored the image, sky, and grass with my copic markers.  I added some gel accents with my Gelly roll pens.  As for my sentiment I used Mini Tag Dies 2, one of my go-to die sets for sentiments.  I heat embossed the sentiment with Black Versafine ink and clear embossing powder from Hero Arts.  I added yellow grosgrain ribbon to my tag sentiment for some interest.  I glued my panel onto a white A2 heavyweight card base.  I even placed a stitched rectangle inside the card with the scratch marks image.  I thought that might be cute to add those scratch marks on my card panel,  so I did.  Lastly, I added some clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  I hope you like my card for today, thank you for stopping by!

GOOD Friends are a Gift!

Hello there.  Today I made a card with some LDRS Creative products using a Fancy Rectangle, banner, and a Polkadoodles stamp set called Mini Winnie Boutique.  I stamped my images in MFT Extreme Black ink and colored them in with my copic markers.  I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out.  I stamped the sentiment from the set on a banner die cut that came with the fancy rectangle die set.  I used coordinating pattern paper and popped up Winnie and the sentiment with foam squares. I added mp panel onto a A2 pink heavy weight card base, adding some enamel dots.  I made a slit for the purse handle so it can look like Winnie is holding it.  That finishes my card for today, I hope you like it.  Thank you for stopping by!

Holiday Wishes, Christmas in July!

Hello there.  I made a card! yay!!  It’s been a week or so making a card but I had to make a card for the Jaded Blossom Mad for Plaid Challenge.  I thought why not make a Christmas card?  I started out with this strip of plaid paper that I found in my stash and went from there.  I die cut a stitched rectangle from Jaded Blossom’s Card Mat Dies and then I layered some strips near my plaid paper and used the rectangle die for some stitching.  I used the Chrismas Dies for my trees and tree border using, glitter, gold foil, and vellum, heavyweight paper.  I like all the papers together, I almost used wool felt too.  I added foam squares to my trees for a bit of dimension.  I used the sentiment from Jadded Blossom’s Peppermint Season stamp set, doing a little bit of stamp surgery cutting my stamp apart….I know!  My stamp is okay though, good as new.  I inked it up with Gold Delicata ink and layered it with matching pink card stock.   I matted a green cardstock piece with my rectangle stitched panel and glued them to a A2 top folding card base.  I added a small vellum tree and green sparkle Nuvo drops.  Lastly, I finished the inside with another glittered tree and rectangle.  I hope you like my card for the challenge, it was so much fun to make especially since I’m dying in triple digit weather right now.   Well, thanks so much for stopping by!

Hope Your Day is…

Hello there.  Today, I made a card with some adorable Lawn Fawn critters that I colored yesterday for the last day of Daily Marker 30 day challenge.  I used Lawn Fawn products except for the MFT cloud stencil.  The stamp set I used is Coaster Critters and I colored all the images with my Zig clean color real brush markers and fussy cut them all out.  I used the Reveal Wheel for my design, it’s so fun to use, expect tons of these type of cards from me using this fabulous die.  I used the cloud stencil and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink for my sky.  I used Lawn Fawn’s grass die and Twisted Citron to make a thin layer of grass for my scene.  I used my cutting blade and made a slit in the ticket booth for a critter to be selling tickets.  The sentiments I used came from the Reveal Wheel sentiments stamped in MFT Extreme Black ink.  I followed Lawn Fawn’s YouTube video to make my reveal wheel.  I added some white drops with my Nuvo drops and die cut a arrow for my recipient to know to turn the wheel.  I die cut a stitched rectangle from Lawn Fawn dies for the inside of the card and added a extra image that I had leftover.  I added my panel onto a Matching blue A2 heavy weight card base.  I hope you like my fun card, thanks for stopping by!

I Swear I Have It All Together!

Hi there.  Today, I made this fun card today.  I got this really cute stamp, June’s Inked stamp of the month from The Ink Road Stamps.  Isn’t she cute, I love these cute images and at such a great price.  Okay, so I stamped the image in MFT Extreme Black ink and copic colored the images before fussy cutting them out.  I added a cute pearl for a earring and a pearl onto the plaid bow for her hair.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto a speech bubble using Versafine and clear embossing powder. I just love that sentiment “I swear I have it all together I just forgot where I put it”, it’s so me!   I used a Papertrey ink notecard die set and some pattern paper. I added gel accents with my gelly roll pens.   Lastly, I added sequins from Neat and Tangled and glitter with my Spectrum Noir glitter pen.  I hope you like my cute card, thanks for stopping by!  Use my code vonmarie10 for 10% off at The Ink Road Stamps.

You’re The Best!

Hi there.  Today, I made this cute card using these absoulutely adorable critters.  I had previously colored these cuties yesterday for the Daily Marker 30 Day, so putting the card together was super easy.  I should always do that method.  I had colored these images  with my copic markers using Avery Elle’s Peek A Boo Pals.  I die cut a poloroid frame from Lawn Fawn using a Doodlebug pattern paper from my stash.  I glued these cuties in the frames and then die cut a Avery Elle Stitched Wonky rectangle and glued my poloroid frame onto the rectangle.  I used two sentiments that went well together and stamped that at the bottom of my panel.  I also stamped the inside with another perfect sentiment and critter.  I glued my panel onto a A2 heavy weight card base and added flower bows, gem, and sequins.  I hope you like my cute card, I will be entering it into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Anything Goes!  Thank you for stopping by!

A Jellyfish Friendship Card

Hi there.  Today, I colored this cute jellyfish and I decided to make a card.  This cute jellyfish is from Jadded Blossom’s new release called So Jelly.  I first stamped the jellyfish onto a stitched rectangle on white heavy weight cardstock, and then I stamped the cute face from the set.  I heat embossed with Versafine and clear embossing powder.  I then made a mask so that I could distress my background using Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.  I spinkled some water droplets, and dried the excess water with a clean paper towel.   I then began coloring the jellyfish with my copic markers.  I added some white accents with my white gelly roll pen onto the jellyfish and background.  I felt like my jellyfish needed something,  so I added a vellum flower from my stash.  I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set, I laugh everytime I read that sentiment, reminds me of the “Friends sitcom” that I still watch by the way on Netflix.  Oh and because I’m entering this card in the Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge-Tic Tac Toe, I added a pearl for my circle element.  I chose Blue, Animal, and Circle for this challenge.  I added my panel onto a teal colored A2 size card base.  Lastly, I added a mat rectangle inside my card and stamped the jellyfish in Peacock Feathers Oxide along with another sentiment.  I hope you like my card, thanks for stopping by!
