Easter Wishes

Hi there crafty friends.  It seems like forever since I made a card to blog about.  I have been crafting though, lots of happy mail items to my friends.  Okay back to my cards, I used the cutest stamp set by Craftin Desert Divas called Jellybean Kisses.  These trolls are just the cutest.  I stamped all the images with MFT Extreme Black ink and colored them in with my copic markers.  I then fussy cut them all out, I did have a problem with my fussy cutting scissors.  I made it work though.  I die cut a wonky stitched rectangle from Simon Says Stamp and used my Distress Oxides to place on acetate with water for a swooshing technique.  I then used my heat tool to dry the access water.  I then used my Mini Misti to stamp the sentiments on my panel.  I have a Fiskars grass paper punch that I used with green cardstock and some peeled paint distress ink.  I glued my grass and popped my images up with foam tape.  I placed my panels on A2 side and top folding card bases.  I stamped the inside of my cards and hope to send them out to my crafty friends.  I may even add some glitter with my glitter pen.  I hope you like my cards, thank you for taking a peek.

Egg-Stra Special Day

Hello There.  I made this card today for the Inky Paws Sketch Challenge #67.  I got this new stamp set called Newton’s Easter Basket and thought it would be perfect for this challenge.  I first stamped the image with MFT Extreme Black Ink onto a Simon Says Stamp Large Tag die cut.  I colored it in with my copic markers.  I added some grass and sky for my scene.  I used my white gel pen for some fun accents.  I then die cut some banner strips with my Neat and Tangled Classic Tag 2 Dies.  I colored one of the banners with the matching copic marker that I used on the image.  I added some Doodlebug twine to tie my tag.  I used a stitched rectangle die cut from Jaded Blossom’s Card Mat Dies, using Doodlebugs So Punny pattern paper.  I added my tag with foam squares and glued everything else down with liquid glue.  I used a A2 white top folding heavy weight cardstock for my card base.  Lastly, I added glitter with my Spectrum Noir clear glitter pen.  I hope you like my card for the challenge.  Thanks for stopping by!

Bunny Treats

Hi there.  Today I made these fun tags to go with these yummy treats fot the Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge and the theme is Embossing.  I first dicut some stitched ovals from the Stitched Oval Dies with kraft cardstock and layered them.  I wanted to use my sewing machine because that’s the rage right now.  After stitching I stamped the bunny images from Sweet Bunnies and I picked two bunny faces from the Bunny Faces stamp set that was a freebie during Jaded Blossom’s last release.  I colored those sweet bunnies with my prismacolor pencils.  I added some grass and a sky with my pencils too.  I used a green copic for some flicks of grass.  I also used a tag die from the Mini Tag Dies 2 for my sentiment to be on, the sentiment came from easter Treats 2.  I embossed my sentiments with Black Versafine ink and and Ultra Clear Embossing Powder from Hero Arts.  I die cut the carrot banner using the Spring Banner Dies and just cut two carrots off for an extra something on my tags.  I used some copics for some accents on the carrots and stems.  I found this orange polkadot grosgrain ribbon that I thought would be perfect to tie around my treats.  I just punched holes in the tags and carrots, and that completes my treats.  I hope you like what I created, thanks for taking a peek!

Bunny Shakers Using Tulle

Hi there.  I wanted to share these tulle shaker cards and bunny tags that I made.  I used this really cute bunny die from Taylored Expressions called Bunny Pop Die.  I used cardstock and gingham paper from the new Lawn Fawn Paper stack.  I used my sewing machine to sew the tulle on the bunnies.  I then added different sequin mixes to match my Spring bunnies.  On my A2 sized cards,  I just glued the tulle and sadwiched it in between cardstock.  These were so much fun to make, I will be making some more.  On my brown bunny,  I used some Vintage Photo distress ink around the edges.  I added bows and bow ties and that was it.  I hope you like my shakers today, thank you for stopping by!

Easter Greetings!

Hi there.  Today, I made this Easter card.  I used this super cute stamp set by My Creative Time called I’ll Never Let You Go.  I love Bunny stamps and this one is just too cute.  I stamped the image on water color paper with MFT Extreme Black Ink. I colored it in with my distress inks, very easy to color.  I used the coordinating die to cut it out.  Some other products I used from My Creative Time is Scalloped Egg Dies, Scalloped Stitched Square Dies, and the Stitched Zig Zag Tags.  I made a shaker using a shaker egg that I had made previously.  The pattern paper comes from The Sorbet Avery Elle paper pack.  I added some grass with my Fiskars punch and used my copic marker for flicks of grass.  I die cut another stitched square for my card base.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto the zig zag die cut and embossed it with Versafine Black ink.  I hope you like my card for today, thank you for stopping by!

A Coffee St. Patricks Day Card & Planner Clips

Hi there.  Today, I made a card and two planner clips for the Jaded Blossom St. Patricks Day Challege.  I’m going to semt this card and clips to a friend for a fun treat.  I first started off with the Coffee Dies and used some new plaid paper from Lawn Fawn.  I then used the shamrock die from Spring Banner Dies for my shaker window.  I used my fuse tool and filled my pocked with green confetti.  I die cut another coffee to sandwich the pocket.  I used peeled paint distress ink to distress the coffee cup.  I also die cut the whip cream using some distress ink for the edges and for the saucer too.  I die cut a stitched rectangle from the Card Mat Dies and used peeled paint ink again adding water droplets and drying the excess with a paper towel.  I used a shamrock stamp for my sentiment that comes from the stamp set Spring Silhouettes.  I inked it up with a MFT dark green ink.  Lastly, I added some extra plaid shamrocks and glued everything on a A2 white card base.

My planner clips,  I used a smaller to go coffee cup from the Coffee Dies.  I die cut the shamrock from a sticker sheet, I think it went well.  I sandwiched a small green paper clip in between another coffee to go die cut using my hot glue gun.

I hope you like what I created, it’s a nice treat right?  Thanks for taking a look!

Anniversary Wreath Cards

Hello, I wanted to share some cards I made that were requested by my friend.  Anniversary cards with black and gold is what she wanted.  I used this fabulous wreath die set and a stamp set called Banner and Wreath by Avery Elle. I also used a Avery Elle Banner die.  I used one of my favorite stitched rectangle dies and die cut all my pieces and attatched everything with liquid glue.  I embosed a little and put foam tape for my banner sentiments.  Lastly,  I flickered paint droplets all over my panels.  I love how all of them came out, and they were so much fun to make.  I love making custom cards.  I hope you like my cards today, thank you for stopping by!
