Halloween Cards

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have some fun Halloween cards to share with you today using some New Stencils from A Colorful Life Designs September Release!

Isn’t this card fun? I used the Tangled Webs Stencil on this card. I used white cardstock with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink and white embossing Paste. I laid my stencil on my cardstock and mixed my paste and ink together before placing it on my cardstock using a spatula. When it was dry I flicked some black paint splatters using a paintbrush. I cut my panel with my paper trimmer and added it to Rainbow Holographic cardstock sized A2. I added them both to a black A2 card base. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment on black cardstock with white embossing powder and Versamark ink. I cut it with the coordinating die before adhering it to my panel. I then added some purple .drops

On this card I used the Pumpkin Patch Stencil with the Grassy Edger 2 Stencil from the August Release. I grabbed some white cardstock and laid my stencil down using the pumpkin border. I love this stencil because of the different options. I used Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide ink for my ink blending. I used Black Soot distress Ink for my grassy Hills. I flicked some ink onto my panel with a paintbrush. I cut my panel with a A2 rectangle die before adhering it to my Black A2 card base. I added a sentiment that I had in my stash and added some orange gems. I hope you like my Halloween cards. They were so much fun to make. You Are Thoughtful!

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a Autumn card today using a New Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.

Isn’t this stencil fun? It’s called the Maple Leaves Stencil. I grabbed some white cardstock and placed my cardstock and stencil on my Make Art Stay-tion. I used some Fall colors for my ink colors. I used Ripe Persimmon, Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint, and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide inks. I then flicked some of my ink colors onto my background with a little bit of water and a paintbrush. It was so fun and easy to make this background.

I then used a stitched scalloped die from Waffle Flower crafts to cut my panel out. I cut out some pattern paper with the rectangle stitched die from Waffle Flower Crafts. I glued my background to my pattern paper and my pattern paper to a card base. My sentiments are from a Hero Arts Color Me Words stamp set. I stamped a sentiment with a brown ink and cut it out with a circle die, and my secondary sentiment was cut out as a banner with my paper trimmer. Lastly, I added green gems. Trick Or Treat!

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have some cute Halloween Tags for you today. I used Not 2 Shabby’s Newest Digital Stamp Halloween Gnome.

I just adore this cute Gnome. I had already printed it out awhile ago when this Halloween Gnome was released. I had printed it out on Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock. So I colored them in with my Copic Markers and fussy cut them out. I chose traditional colors this time. Do you like traditional? I like both, it depends what my mood is that day. I grabbed some heavy weight cardstock 110lb. and used Tim Holtz Mica Distress Stain Sprays in Flickering Candle and Emptytomb. So fun, I have to have all the sprays.

When my background cardstock was dry I cut it out with a tag die from Simon Says Stamp. I had this new Taylored Expressions Layer It Pumpkins Die Set so I cut out the large pumpkin with white cardstock and used Dried Marigold Distress Oxide ink for the large pumpkins. I then used Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide ink for the layering on top for the pumpkin. As for the stem I used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink.

I cut out more tage with kraft cardstock to layer my mica backgrounds on. I love sturdy tags. I ink blended some more white cardstock with Dried Marigold Distress Oxide ink. I stamped a sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink from Millies Haunted Halloween from Taylored Expressions and cut some banners out with my paper trimmer. I glued everything on my tags and popped my Halloween Gnomes up with foam squares. Lastly, I added some twine and a orange enamel dot from my stash. I hope you enjoyed my tags. I really had fun putting them together.

Thankful For You!

Hi everyone! I’m happy to be on the Trinity Stamps Blog today with this Fall card and it was so much fun to make using the New Autumn Rainbow Cut & Foil Die Set.

I didn’t want to grab a bunch of colored cardstock for my leaves, so I colored with my Tombow Dual Brush Markers instead. I just scribbled randomly in what I thought were Fall colors onto Canson Coldpress Watercolor 140lb cardstock. It was my first time using this paper for hot foiling especially with my Tombow Markers.

I really loved how the Hot Foiling came out. I used Polished Brass Glimmer foil from Spellbinders and my Glimmer Hot Foiling System. I did that a few times to get a good amount of leaves.

I used the coordinating die that comes in the set and ran them through my diecutting machine. I think they came out so pretty. Oh just Another favorite die set of mine, that I will be using a lot.

Next, I cut my panel with some Gold Shimmer Cardstock using the Slimline Striped Panel die. I wanted it to match my leaves when I layered it so I scribbled again on Canson cardstock and cut it out with my paper trimmer. I colored some more cardstock for my word sentiment to match too. Such an easy way to match and you don’t have a bunch of unwanted scraps. Or you can use scraps you have too.

I glued my panels together and glued my leaves. I cut out the word die a few more times to layer and stamped a secondary sentiment to go with my word die using Thankful For You stamp set with brown ink and white cardstock. I used my paper trimmer to cut it.

Another favorite part of mine is adding some fabulous embellishments. Trinity Stamps definitely has the best embellishments. Of course I used my Pick Up Stick Tool. I used the Gold Eclipse Rhinestone Mix embellishments using a odd number amount and different sizes.

And since I had extra Leaves. I made a matching envelope using the Slimline Envelope Builder Die Set. I hope you like my Gold Foiling project for today. It was so much fun and I hope you’ll give it a try!

Happy Fright Night!

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a Halloween card for you today! I love Halloween and Fall. I used a New Stencil Drippy Moons from A Colorful Life Designs September Release. If you love Fall and Halloween, this Release is for you.

I had so much fun making this card. I decided to use black cardstock. I placed my stencil over it and used Distress Paint in Shaded Lilac. The paint has a dauber round tip so I just placed it over each drippy moon. When it was dry I cut it out with a circle die.

I then cut out some orange and Lavender Pink glitter paper from my stash to layer my circle onto. I added all my layers onto a A2 card base and then added some orange gems. My sentiment I had pre done from Taylored Expressions Mini Strips that is stamped and heat embossed. I hope you like my card. Use my code VonFan10 for 10% off your order at A Colorful Life Designs.

Cupcake Cards

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I am trying to keep busy. I recently purchased this really fun birthday stencil and Cupcake Stamp and Die Set from Hero Arts and Since I belong to a FB card group I needed to get my September Birthday cards made and mailed out.

I love Cupcakes? and Cupcake cards. Don’t you? I couldn’t resist this stamp and die set called Color Layering Cupcake. I first used the Hero Arts Stencil called Streamer onto Neenah Solar white 80lb. cardstock. I cut my sheet of cardstock in four panels. I placed each panel down and placed my stencil over it. I had fun using different color combinations using Catherine Pooler bundle dye inks.

After my backgrounds, I used the Cupcake layering stamp and die set in colored inks to match my backgrounds. I did stamp the cupcake wrapper in black to try it out, that has a cool look to it too. The layering was so much fun. On some I used a brown ink for the cake of the cupcake to show and some for it not to show. I would cut them out with the coordinating die set after. I did have two extra cupcakes and cherries so I made those with a with background.

my backgrounds were cut out using a Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die from Pinkfresh Studio. I also used a Circle die to match. I stamped the ones with a stenciled background with the sentiment on the circle with a curved look using my Mist Stamping Platform. On the other two circle diecuts I stamped the sentiment onto the panel and added some sprinkles on one for fun. I glued and used foam to back some of my panels especially the ones with polka dot ribbon. I like the ribbon and I always forget to use it. I decided just to add some sprinkles on some cards. I chose for no embellishments on these cards. All my panels were added to a A2 card base. I hope you like my Birthday Cupcake cards. I kinda want to make more to have a bunch for my stash.

Umbrellas

Hello Everyone! I hope you are doing well. Here is another card I made using A Colorful Life Designs September Release. This Release is so much fun and this stencil I used is called Umbrellas. I also used Technique Junkies Rain Sentiments.

I started out with a piece of white cardstock and Catherine Pooler dye inks. I laid my cardstock down and then my Umbrellas stencil. I used blending brushes and my Make Art Stay-tion. I was going for a rainbow look. I light ink blended.

I cut out my ink blended panel with a Rectangle die from Pinkfresh Studio. I then decided to cut out the inner portion with a tag die from Pinkfresh Studio. I added some Yellow twine from Lawn Fawn for interest. I stamped the sentiment with the pinky color from the dye inks I used on my panel. It just looks dark as I used my misti stamping platform to get a good impression. I fussy cut out the sentiment and added foam squares to the back. I added my panel to a card base and then added my tag with foam squares. My sentiment was then added. I then added some Yellow Pops of color to embellish. I hope you like my card it was fun and easy to make. Use my Code VonFan10 for 10% off your order at A Colorful Life Designs.

Hi everyone! A Colorful Life Designs September Release is available. So many fun New Stencils. Also so exciting A Colorful Life Designs has a Collaboration with Technique Junkies. We are featuring A Colorful Life Designs Rainy Stencil with Technique Junkies Red Rubber Rain Sentiments Stamp Set.

On this Mini Slimline Card I used the Rainy Stencil onto Neenah Solar White 80 lb. with Catherine Pooler Dye ink, Make Art Stay-tion, and blending brushes. I ink blended the Umbrellas with a Summery Vibe and then thought I would fussy cut them out. So I fussy cut them out and put them aside. On another piece of the same cardstock I ink blended the raindrops. I then cut that panel out with a stitched Mini Slimline rectangle die. I stamped the sentiment from the Technique Junkies Rain Sentiments set with the blue ink to match. I then fussy cut it out to fit better on my panel. I glued the panel to a card base and added one umbrella with foam tape and the sentiment too. Lastly, I added white gel accents and sequins.

Since this is the second card, I used one of the umbrellas I had ink blended already. I used pink cardstock and added some raindrops using the Rainy Stencil and same blue ink. I cut the pink cardstock with a scalloped Mini Slimline rectangle die and added it to a Mini Slimline card base. I stamped one of the sentiments from Technique Junkies Rainy Sentiments with black ink on white cardstock and cut it out with a rectangle die. I glued my sentiment and I popped up my umbrella with foam tape. I then added white gel accents and Confetti. I hope you like my cards. I love this stamp set it is a nice size with so many images on it to complete your rainbow or scene. I used Dye inks that I though were Fall colors. I stamped the pumpkin in blue dye ink for fun. Such a fun stamp set. I love Autumn Leaves.

Next, I used the Puffy Cloud Layers Stencil to lightly add some clouds around my Rainbow using a blue dye ink and a Blending Buddy. The pumpkin has a solid image also, so I used that image for my pumpkin. Such a cute image. So many ways to use this set.

I then cut out some clouds using the Rainbow Funshine Die Set with white cardstock for my clouds. I love how this Autumn Rainbow looks.

I’ve Been Thinking of You!

Hi everyone! I have a Mermaid card today. Using Kinda Cute By Patricia Digital Stamps.

Isn’t this mermaid pretty? I love her. She is called Mermaid Thinking Of You. I first printed her out onto Neenah Solar White 80lb. Cardstock and colored her in with my Copic Markers. I then used a Modern Embossed Circle die set from Trinity Stamps to cut her out. I also used a Modern Embossed Rectangle die set also from Trinity Stamps to cut out my rectangle with white cardstock.

Next, I used some Pixie Effect Paste from Prima that I rubbed with my fingers onto the green water. I think it’s suppose to be a rock but I seen it as water. So, I colored it like green water. She’s a Mermaid so it can be anything right? I think the paste looks like shells in the water. I just added her with foam tape and glued her to my white panel. My panel was then added to a A2 card base. I had this sentiment already stamped and cut out from Altenew Sentiment Strips stamped with gray ink and I thought it was perfect for this card. I hope you like it. Thank you for stopping by!
