Woodblock Wednesday!

Hello everyone! I have been inspired so much by Amy Tsuruta’s Woodblock Series that I thought this time I would participate in her Woodblock Wednesday for December 7, 2022.

I made 2 cards! I chose to use this Christmas Tree Woodblock stamp that I believe is from Michaels. I love the look of colored pencils on colored cardstock. I stamped and heat embossed the tree stamp with Versamark ink and WOW Opaque Bright White Super Fine Embossing Powder. I did that 2 times. I chose to color my baubles in with shades of blue Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I also used white, and Silver Prismacolor Colored Pencils. I colored the tree white and the base Silver. I stamped and heat embossed the confetti from the “Cheers” Woodblock stamp as my snow with the same embossing powder and ink. It’s a little harder to see how your stamp might stamp using a woodblock and just a portion to not stamp the sentiment. I first colored the bottom of my panel with a white pencil for my ground and didn’t care for that too much. So I added chunky glitter, can’t go wrong with glitter right? My panel was cut down to 4 x 5.25 and glued to a Grey top folding A2 card base. I fussy cut my tree and glued it with foam tape before adhering it to my panel and then to a card base.. Lastly, I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment from woodblock collection from Michaels. I added my sentiment with foam tape and that was it for this card.

On this card, I did pretty much the same. The only difference is I added my tree to a white panel and stamped a different sentiment in black ink. I also glued some dots of glue using my liquid glue and dusted on some chunky glitter. My panel was added to a white top folding A2 card base keeping this card flat. I hope you enjoyed what I created with my Woodblocks. I had a blast and I Thank Amy for this fun series and linky.

Thank you for stopping by!

From Our House to Yours!

Hello everyone! I have a Christmas card today. Super Easy and no coloring. I used this fun and neutral stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called Square Fade.

I used this pretty blue textured cardstock from my stash and applied some Lunar Paste from Simon Hurley in Clear Skies. I love blue on blue. I let it dry and it dried quickly. I then cut my background with my Tim Holtz Deckle Trimmer. I love my panel irregular.

I then used some Chip Board Stickers from Simple Stories Winter Cottage. I love this Collection. I own the paper and Ephemera too. I picked some Cozy Houses to use for my Focal point. I glued them on with liquid glue and then placed a already pre-made sentiment strip. Lastly, I added some sequins to match and glued my panel to a A2 card base. I hope you like it. A Rainbow is like..

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing great. I had to share with you this card using the Pebble Fans Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs since its in the Encore Bogo Sale(Buy One Get One Free) and today is the last day for the sale.

When I saw this stencil I thought Rainbows. This Sunshine and Rainbows Stamp set from Unity Stamps Company went perfectly don’t you think so too? I ink blended on white cardstock using ink cubes in Barn Door Distress ink, Spiced Marmalade Distress ink, Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink, Mowed Lawn Distress ink, and Salty Ocean Distress ink. This is another stencil I call neutral because you can use it for any Occasion. I used the Unity Stamps Company Sunshine and rainbows set to stamp similar patterns of the Rainbow in black ink to match my background. I don’t think it was intended like this to use but it lookes good with this stencil *wink.

I used a stitched A2 Rectangle die to cut out my background. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set onto my background. I added my panel to a A2 card base. I added a gold chipboard foiled heart to my rainbow and white sequins. I hope you like my card and grab this stencil. If not shopping the sale use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off. Multi Chevron-May Your Season Sparkle

Hello everyone! I have a card today using the Multi Chevron stencil that is in the Encore Sale Buy One Get One over at A Colorful Life Designs.

I love this stencil. Its what I call a Neutral Stencil. One that can be used with any project. I chose to make a Christmas Card. I grabbed some white cardstock and ink blended with Hero Arts Ink Cubes Rose Madder, Green Apple, and Cotton Candy.

When I was done ink blending I used a Jaded Blossom die set to cut it out. And if you have seen some of my videos you know I love Taylored Expressions Strips sentiments that I pre-made ahead of time. So much easier. So I picked up a sentiment to go with my card. I have a older Tonic Studios Card Kit that I had got from a Barnes and Noble Book Store and that tree was so pretty I stamped it as my focal point. in black ink on my background. I added my background to a A2 card base and added my sentiment with foam tape. Lastly, I added some green sequins. I hope you like my card and grab this stencil during the sale. BYSH Cardmakers December 2022 Sketch Challenge 29

Hello everyone! I’m super excited for this months Sketch Challenge 29 hosted by BYSH Cardmakers Blog. You are going to love it. Just as I do! You have all month to play along!

Isn’t this sketch so much fun? I love it. I chose to use Lawn Fawn for my project. Fun Pattern paper from Lawn Fawn’s Knit Picky 6×6 paper pad and Ugly and Bright Stamp Set. I had stamped all my images out with black ink and colored them in when Lawn Fawn had a live class on their YouTube channel. I had cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut.

To follow the sketch I used my paper trimmer as well as a ruler to cut my triangular pieces. You can use any shape or size for that circle portion. I used a scalloped Circle Stackable die to lay my cute critters in their fun sweaters on. Later, I drew a line to ground them. I glued all to a A2 card base. Lastly, I added some white gel accents with my Gelly Roll pen. I hope you will join this fun Holiday challenge. There is a prize. Just upload your photo to the FB group. Challenge will end on December 31, 2022 11:59 PST. Easy Peazy.

Hi everyone! I’m super excited to have another Christmas Card for the {BYSH} Cardmakers Sketch 28. This is another fun sketch and I hope you’ll be excited to make a holiday card using this fun sketch.

I first started out picking my image. This cute image is a Digital Stamp by Sweet N Sassy Stamps called Snowman Soup . I printed it out and colored it in with my Copic Markers. I then cut it out with a circle die for my circle element from the sketch. You can alter the sketch, it could be just a image instead of a circle. Have fun with the sketch. I then looked through my Christmas/Winter pattern paper and liked this mugs one from Simple Stories. I then thought it would be fun to ink blend a New Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called Dotted Flakes. I used Pinkfresh Studio Ocean Breeze ink on white cardstock.

I cut my pattern paper, the strip, and stenciled background according to the sketch. I glued everything to a black top folding card base. Next, I ink blended around the edges of my card front for fun with the same ink color just a heavier hand.. I added a pre-made sentiment strip from my stash and added some glittery pops of color liquid drops to the marshmallows in snowflake. I hope you like my take on Sketch 28. It was so much fun, I enjoy sketches and Christmas cards

I then cut out my ink blended sentiment with a stitched A2 rectangle die. I colored up Miss Anya with Copic Markers and fussy cut her out. I added some red flame ink to my panel before I adhered her using foam tape. Lastly, I added white gel accents and red gems from Hero Arts. I hope you like the New Stencil. Warm & Cozy Wishes!

Hello! I have a fun and sweet card I made for the Newton’s Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #185. It’s a fun color Challenge and I knew I had to participate.

Here is what I came up with:

I was dying to use this adorable stamp set from STAMPtember’s Collaboration with Simon Says Stamp called Warm & Cozy Wishes. I first stamped out all my images onto Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then cut all my images out with my Brother Scan N Cut. Next, I colored them in with my Copic Markers according to the colors for the color challenge.

I wanted a living room scene, so I used a embossing folder that I ran through my Spellbinders Platinum machine with white cardstock. I then cut out this Carmel colored cardstock for my ground. My cardstock was cut down to A2 size and glued to my A2 Neenah Solar White 110lb. card base with liquid glue. I glued my pup and couch accessories to the couch and popped up the couch with foam tape before adding it to my panel. I then stamped and heat embossed my sentiment on the same caramel cardstock and added some Jute Twine with foam tape that I placed behind my sentiment to act as a hanging frame on the wall. Lastly, I added some white gel accents with my Gelly Roll pen. I had so much fun making this card.

Thank you for taking a peek!

I then stamped a Raccoon image from a retired Averyelle Stamp set called Snow Much Fun on white cardstock. I colored it in with my copic markers and fussy cut it out. I placed my ink blended panel into my Misti Stamping Platform and stamped the sentiment with black ink from the same stamp set. November 2022 {BYSH} Cardmakers Sketch 28

Hello everyone! Happy November. I’m super excited for the BYSH Cardmakers New Sketch Challenge 28. Make a Holiday card using this Sketch and add it to the Facebook Album. Use Hashtag #byshcardmakersketch28

I really like this sketch and I usually don’t do CAS cards so I chose for this one to be. I already had this tree colored up from Doodlebug Christmas Magic Stamp Set. I used a Circle die close to size that I cut out in white cardstock and glued this tree to. I then used a blue Copic Marker to outline the edges. I also used Doodlebug’s Christmas Magic 6×6 Paper pack to use for the sketch design.

After I was done cutting out my pieces of pattern paper I glued them to a A2 white top folding card base. My sentiment is cut out from the paper pack. Easy Peasy! I hope you’ll give it a try. There might be a Prize to be won! I can’t wait to make another one of these sketch cards.

Thank you for stopping by!

Supplies:

Christmas Magic Paper. What I could find since 6×6 paper pad is retired.

On my first card I used the New Oak Elements 6×9 Stencil. Its so beautiful. I used white cardstock with Aspen ink from Simon Says Stamp and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink. When I was done ink blending I used Mica Stain in Bubbling Cauldron and Cactus Gold Spray from Lindy’s Gang. I love how it came out.

I then cut it out with a A7 Modern Embossed Rectangle Die from Trinity Stamps. I stamped my Fall sentiment from a Close to My Heart stamp set onto my panel with brown ink. I then glued my panel to a A7 card base and added some gold gems and a twine bow.

Magical Christmas BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays Linky Party!

Hi everyone! I have another Christmas Card I made for the BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays Linky Party. A Magical Christmas card to be exact.

I first started out looking through my Christmas Stamps and knew I wanted to make a Unicorn Christmas card.I got a glimpse of some pink Christmas pattern paper in my stash I chose to use a retired cute Pinkfresh Studio stamp and die set called Magical Christmas. I first used the unicorn die and ran it through my Spellbinders Platinum Machine with white cardstock I then placed the unicorn die-cut back into the negative space into my Misti Stamping Platform, This set is so fun because you can stamp the scarf, horn, and mane in colored inks. I stamped the body and head first in gray hybrid ink. I did mess up a few times and then I got the hang of it. I then inked up the scarf, horn, and mane in purple ink. I ended up stamping a few of these using a Hero Arts retired hybrid ink cube bundle called Island Crush. It had colors such as blue, purple, pink, and green.

I the used the Pinkfresh Studio Braided Tag die set using the largest tag to cut out my pattern paper Feelin’ Frosty from Simple Stories 6×8 paper pack. I chose my purple unicorn to match. Although any of the ones I had made would have matched too. I then cut out a rectangle 4 x 5.25 using the opposite side of paper to match. I placed my tag into my Misti stamping platform and stamped the sentiment with the same purple ink to match. I attached some purple crinkle ribbon to my tag. I grabbed a A2 white top folding card base and glued everything to my card base. The back of the tag has foam tape. I decided to color my unicorn a little with copic markers. Just plain would be cute and great for mass producing. Lastly, I added some purple gems from my stash. I hope you like my card it was so much fun to make this kind of Christmas card-Non traditional. I hope you get all the cards you want linked up!! There is still time!! Ends tonight!

Wishing You Joy! BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays Linky Party!

Hello everyone! Happy Friday. Today is the last day for the BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays Linky Party. That went fast right? I hope you get all your Christmas Projects linked up. I have one more card I was able to make using Taylored Expressions and Twiddlers Nook who are both Amazing Sponsors for this event.

I started out with some Canson Watercolor Coldpress 140lb. I placed the Beautiful Seasonal Sprig rubber stamp from Taylored Expressions into my Misti Stamping tool. I stamped it with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and used Twiddlers Stamping Tool to get a good impression. That tool is a lifesaver. I then painted with a Watercolor Confetti Pan Set from Prima and a water brush. I used a water bowl and applied water as needed. I used 3 different reds and 3 different greens. I then splattered some red and green paint around my image and white paint on my image.

I then used a retired die set from Taylored Expressions called Pockets & Pages Stitched Essentials to cut my Seasonal Sprigs image out. I used the larger rectangle die, it’s about 4×6 inches. It will be slightly smaller in this 5×7 envelope or I can make a custom envelope. I had some gold glitter in my diecutting machine and it stayed on my panel. It kinda looks like I added it purposely. I think it looks great so that mistake worked out!

I chose to ink around the edges with Bard Door Distress ink cube with a blending brush. I placed my panel back into my Misti Stamping Platform and stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onynx Black ink again using my Pressure Tool. I added my panel to a card base with a tape runner. Lastly, I added some pink and green sequins and a Heart near my sentiment. I hope you like my card, it was a lot of fun to make. If you want to link up the the Falling for the Holidays Linky Party before it ends do it here.

Sweet N Sassy Stamps VIP Challenge-Orange

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I’m super excite to share with you the card I made for the October Sweet N Sassy Stamps VIP FB Challenge-Orange. I will have supplies listed down below.

On my card, I really tried to incorporate the color Orange as much as I could. I hope I Succeeded. I used Digital Stamp Happy Scarecrow. This Scarecrow just makes me smile. I love how Happy he is. I printed him out onto Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and colored him in with Copic Markers in the Orange Family. I also used Prismacolor colored pencils which were fun to color my scarecrow. I did leave some areas of the image white or neutral as much as I could. I really wanted Orange to be the focus of my card. I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut the Scarecrow out.

And for my background, I used Pinkfresh Studio Ink Cubes in Apricot, Clementine, and Persimmon ink on white cardstock. I then used the Grunge Dots Stencil with Versafine Clair Summertime ink. I just ink blended on one side of my cardstock. I cut my panel to be slightly smaller than A2. I then glued my panel to a A2 card base. I stamped a sentiment from Special Blooms Stamp set with Versafine Clair Summertime ink. I then fussy cut it out. I popped up my Scarecrow and sentiment with foam tape. I then added some Orange sequins to match. I hope you like my take on the Challenge. I had a blast making this card.

Fall is my Favorite…

Hi everyone! I have some Fall Cards today and a Video. I hope you’ll watch. I will have it down below as well as Supplies used.

I chose to use this super sweet Fall image called October Fairy Tot from Sweet November Stamps. She is a digital Stamp and I love her.

I stamped this Fairy onto Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and colored her in with my Copic Markers. I chose to print out a few that way I could make more. I then fussy cut her out, which was pretty easy to do.

I grabbed some white cardstock and ink blended with Lawn Fawn no. 2 pencil and Craved Pumpkin Distress Oxide ink onto my card base. I masked the edge so I wouldn’t get ink anywhere else. I then for the first time used a Catherine Pooler Coverplate die that I cut out with white cardstock. I used a gray Copic markerr to add details to my Birch trees. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment with a cream embossing powder and Brutus Monrow Embossing ink on Orange cardstock. I cut my sentiment using my paper trimmer.

I glued everything together to my A2 card base. I ended up making 2. I hope you like them, I had fun making then and they were really easy to make.

Hello everyone! I super excited to share with you Paper Sweeties New October Release. There are 2 New Stamps and 1 Coordinating Sweet Cuts. It is also a 4th quarter Sweet Kits. There is more details over on the Paper Sweeties Blog. I have a Video down below as well as a Blog Hop Line Up!

I stamped my images on white cardstock from Build A Gnome stamp set and the New Stamp Set Gnome Fall Add On. I chose to make my gnome a girl witch. I love her broom and hat. I also wanted a Cauldron. I colored my images with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating sweet cuts. I then put my gnome witch together.

I had a pattern paper scalloped Circle Frame left over from last months projects so I used that and a orange rectangle panel. I stamped my sentiment from Gnome Add On Fall with black ink and white cardstock. I cut it down to fit on my card. I glued my circle frame and rectangle panel to a black A2 card base. I added foam tape to the back of my gnome witch and sentiment. For fun I added some Doodlebug Sprinkles and Glitz Glitter Gel. I hope you like it, it was a lot of fun.

You can watch the video of how I made this quick card down below!

Boo!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well today. I have a fun Halloween card to share with you using New Stencils from A Colorful Life Designs Newest Release. I will have Supplies and a coupon code down below for you!

On this card I used a New stencil Pumpkin Wreath. I also used a New to me stencil Marvelous Masks Ghosts Stencil. I fist ink blended the Pumpkin Wreath with Lawn Fawn Grape Jelly, and Catherine Pooler Ginger inks. I then placed the ghost #2 stencil on another piece of Hammermill cardstock. This time, I used pencil to outline the ghost. I then fussy cut the ghost out leaving a white border. I decided to ink blend the edges of the ghost to see it better. I did delete my pencil marks. I then ink blended the ghost eyes with black ink.

I used the Spellbinders Eek A Boo die set to give my ghost its legs, hands, and pumpkin bucket. I used white and black cardstock and ink blended the pumpkin bucket. So cute. I cut out my wreath with a stitched rectangle die. I added my rectangle to a A2 card base. I glued my ghost together and added a word sentiment from the same Spellbinders die set using black foam. I glued everything to my card front and that was it. I hope you like my card. I will be giving it to a crafty friend. Use my code VonFan10 to save 10% off your purchase of stencils.

BYSH Sketch Challenge 27

Hi everyone! I’m back with my second Christmas card using this months {BYSCH} Sketch 27. I had so much fun with this sketch again. It’s a great one to save. I will have supplies listed down below if products are still available.

Isn’t tis a cute card? I love this bear using this Sketch 27. This digital bear stamp comes from Sweet November Stamps called North Pole Friends: Claus. I printed it out onto some watercolor paper. I let it dry and colored it in with my Karin Markers and a paint brush with water. I then fussy cut it out when it was dry.

For this fun sketch I cut up my pattern papers from a Doodlebug Design Here Comes Santa Claus Christmas 6×6 Paper Pack. I then used a Pinkfresh Studio Perfect Sentiments Holidays Gold Pre heat embossed sentiment from my stash. I glued everything to a A2 card base. I hope you like my card using {BYSH} 27 sketch. You still have to time to participate. There is a prize to be won. Just enter your photo in the FB album. There are more details on the BYSH Cardmakers Blog.
