Happy New Year!

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well today. I have a fun card to share with you using A Colorful Life Designs November Release.

I used two stencils for today’s card. I was going for a grungy look and I hope I succeeded. I used the Chevron Dot Stencil and New Year Stencil. I first started out with kraft cardstock using the New Year Stencil and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink. I then placed the Chevron dot stencil over my kraft cardstock only ink blending certain areas over my already blended cardstock.

I then cut out my inked background out with a double stitched rectangle die.I added it to a A2 card base and inked around the edges with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink. I added some gold pearls and that was it. I hope you like it. Use my code VonFan10 for 10% off your purchase when shopping at A Colorful Life Designs.

Heart Of Christmas

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have some simple stenciled Stamped Christmas Tree cards to share using Simon Says Stamp.

I used Simon Says Stamp Heart Of Christmas stamp and Coordinating stencil for these cards. I got this stamp set for STAMPtember and I had so much fun making some Christmas Cards. I used Neenah Solar White cardstock and stamped the tree image using black ink and my misti stamping tool. I then used fun ink colors from my Concord & 9th with the coordinating stencil. I ink blended the hearts in various ink colors. So much fun.

I then cut out my trees with a rectangle die. I placed my panels in my misti and stamped sentiments from the same stamp set. I layered my rectangle panels with some Christmas pattern paper from Lawn Fawn and glued everything to A2 card bases. I hope you like my cards, I think they are perfect for the holidays. I also will be entering the Anything Goes Challenge for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Ginger Cookies

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. I made some Ginger Christmas Cookie cards. Sounds delicious right? I have a video of my card process down below as well as some extra pictures.

I started out making my cards using Simon Says Stamp Embossing Folder Christmas Cookies with kraft and brown cardstock. I love the way the embossing folder looks. I then used Nuvo paste with my Media mat and a spatula. I spread it thinly over my embossed panels. I let both of my panels dry while I worked on my gingerbread cookies. I used the Picket Fence Studios Gingerbread Dies Betty and Bob with Bristol Smooth cardstock. I ink blended them both with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink and Icing on the cake dye ink from Catherine Pooler. I flicked some water on my cookies and dried them with a paper towel. I then cut my cookies out with the coordinating dies.

I cut my embossed panel making them smaller than A2 size panels using my mini trimmer. I stamped the sentiments from a Picket Fence Studios stamp set using Icing On The Cake ink on kraft cardstock. I added my panels to a A2 card base and glued my cookies and sentiments on. I then used Peppermint candy embellishments to decorate. I hope you like my cards and my video. These cards were so much fun to make.

Thankful

Hi everyone! Happy Thanksgiving. I have some Thankful cards today using Trinity Stamps, Spellbinders, and Simon Says Stamp. I will have all the product details down below. I am Thankful for a lot in my life. I hope you are too. I do hope my mom will be celebrating in Heaven. I will always remember her cooking up a feast. Okay onto my card!

On my first card, I used Thankful By Trinity Stamps. I might have gotten this stamp last year but I never got around to using it. I first stamped and heat embossed these gnomes on watercolor Cardstock 111lb. Using my Misti, Versafine ink, and Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder. I then colored the gnomes in with my Tombow Markers and Karin Markers using some water and a paint brush. I then cut out my gnomes with the coordinating die.

I used the A2 Oval Foundations Stencils with the Puffy Cloud Layers Stencils on Neenah Solar White with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I then decided to used the Scenic Borders Die-Grass with white cardstock. I ink blended it with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I measured the grass border with the oval ink blended background and marked it with a pencil and cut it with my scissors to match the size of the oval background. I cut out my oval panel with the modern embossed A2 rectangle using the largest one. I added my grass with foam strips and glued my gnomes with liquid glue. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiments and cut them out with coordinating dies. They were glued with liquid glue. I added my A2 oval panel onto a A2 card base and then added some Champagne Bubbles Confetti Mix.

And here is my second card. I first started out with the Pumpkins Stencil from Simon Says Stamp. I used some Catherine Pooler inks and began ink blending in some Fall colors. After, I flicked some Mica Spray Stain in Holly Branch. I used the Spellbinders Scarecrow Die set with pattern paper, colored cardstock, and white cardstock. On the white cardstock pieces I would copic color them or ink blend them. It was a lot of fun. I used some white gel pen for some subtle details.

I cut out my stenciled background using a Spellbinders Rectangle die. I glued it to a A2 card base. I then glued my scarecrow, pumpkins, corn and corn to my panel. I cut out a Thankful word die and Shadow Die using with colored cardstock and glued it to my card front. That finishes my cards, I hope you like them.

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well today. I have a fun project today to share with you using A Colorful Life Designs November Release.

I made some cute festive tags using the New Layered Holly Stencil. I wanted a different look so I grabbed some of this green cardstock. I started ink blending the leaves first with Eucalyptus ink and then Peppermint Scrub ink for the berries using the second stencil. I then cut out my holly leaves using Tag Dies from STAMPlorations.

Next I added some Seam Binding ribbon and some Stamped gold heat embossed red cardstock Holiday sentiments from Pinkfresh Studio. My sentiments are added with foam strips. I added some gold pearl embellishments and that was it. Super easy and festive. I hope you like them. The November Release is pretty awesome. Use my code VonFan10 for 10% off your order.

Thanks Snow Much

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a Fun Thank you card using the New A7 Snowflake Frame Die Set and Simply Sentimental Thanks Stamp Set from the latest Release over on the Trinity Stamps Blog Today.

I first cut out the A7 Snowflake Die with some white 100lb cardstock. This is such a great die it comes with word and shadow dies as well as snowflakes and a inner rectangle piece which I will use on this card.

I inkblended the snowflake frame with some Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide ink and Villainous Distress Oxide ink using my Blending Buddy Brushes. You can probably tell I love purple and blue and snowflakes from some previous projects.

Next, I stamped and head embossed my sentiments from the New Simply Sentimental Thanks Stamp Set on Blue cardstock with Versamark ink and White embossing powder. There are dies for the Thanks Stamp Set but on this project I fussy cut the Big Thanks out with my scissors. I cut the other sentiment into a banner strip using my paper cutter. Then I cut out that rectangle die from Silver glitter cardstock and used the snowflake dies to leave windows in my panel.

I used the Vanilla Sugar snowflake embellishments and copic colored them with markers that matched. It was so fun to do that. Now, it’s time to assemble this card together.

I used some more word dies like the “snow word die” that I cut out with blue cardstock and ink blended the shadow diecut with the same distress inks to match. The “Much Sentiment” is cut out with white foam. I added acetate and foam to the back of my silver glitter inner rectangle panel and glued some of those colored snowflakes embellishments in the inside before gluing it onto my frame. Two of my sentiments are glued with foam and the rest of the sentiments are glued with liquid glue. I added some colored snowflakes and added my panel to a 5×7 white card base. I hope you like what I created. I love all the different words/sentiments in all different fonts and styles.

Have a Merry Day!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I lost count on the coffee/tea cards I made but I have another one to share that I made for the Fall Winter 2021 Coffee Lover Blog Hop.

Do you love Peppermint Hot Beverages? I surely do. I even have been drinking Peppermint Tea at night before bed. I found this stamp set in my stash, I forgot about it LOL. So I had to use it and it makes a great Christmas Card to mail out. I stamped this mug image from Unity Stamps called …it’s a mug hug stamp set onto cream paper using a alcohol friendly ink. It still bled a little maybe because of the paper? I still like the way it turned out though. I colored this mug image with copic markers and then fussy cut it out.

I used a A2 stitched rectangle die to cut out my pattern paper. These Pattern Papers are from Catherine Pooler and Echo Park. I stamped the sentiment on the same paper using the same stamp set in Flame ink and cut it out with my paper trimmer. I added my pattern papers to a A2 card base and added my mug with foam strips. My sentiment is also added with foam strips. And for fun I added Coffee Carnival Mix embellishments, red stickles, and white gel accents. I hope you like my Peppermint coffee card.

Hope Your Day is Grande

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well today. Another Coffee card today for the 2021 Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

On this Slimline Card I used a Darcies Heart & Home stamp set called Yeti To Party. I was gifted this stamp last December for my Birthday from my Crafty Friend Maggie so I was so excited to play with it for this hop. I love that huge to-go coffee I need one of those everyday. I stamped the Polar bear image with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink on Hammermill White cardstock. I used my Misti Stamping Platform to get a crisp image. I colored the bear, scarf, and coffee in light winter colors using my Copic Markers.

For my background I used a gray copic marker for the ground and used Salty Ocean for the sky. I also lightly used some Black soot distress Oxide ink for to mute my blue sky a bit. And for fun I used A Colorful Life Designs Christmas Scene Edger 2 Stencil Set from the October 2021 Release. For the first stencil I used the Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink and for the second stencil Catherine Pooler Martini ink. I love the look and it was so fast and easy with this stencil. I cut my panel out with a Double Stitched Slimline die from MFT. I layered it with the largest Slimline die before adding to a Grey Slimline Card base. My sentiment was stamped with Altenew Obsidian ink from Latte Love Essentials from Ellen. I hope you like my card. Used my code VonFan10 to stock up on your stencils, I have a lot of favorites.
