Sending Warm Wishes

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I have a Hot Cocoa card today. I made this card for the Coffee Lovers Papercrafters National Hot Cocoa Day Guest Designer Search. You are to link up a Hot Chocolate card, so fun!

I thought this stamp was perfect to use. It’s from Penny Black called Cup of Joy. I first stamped and heat embossed the image and sentiment banner onto Fabriano 140lb watercolor cardstock using my Misti Stamping Tool. I used Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder with my Heat Tool. I colored them in with my Karin Brush Marker Pro Markers, some water, and my Silver Black Velvet Brush 2.

I fussy cut my image and banner out using my scissors. I ink blended some white cardstock with Broken China Distress Oxide ink and Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide ink. I cut out my ink blended cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflake Backdrop die. I cut it down slightly so that I could use pattern paper from Simple Stories Feelin’ Frosty Paper Pack. I cut my pattern paper with my paper trimmer. I glued everything to a A2 card base using liquid glue. I popped my image and sentiment up with foam tape and added some Doodlebug Heart shape Sprinkles. I hope you like my card. I had fun making it.
